Traditions Management

I've been very happy. The only real problem has been keeping staff, and I think that's a problem all around. They're dealing with it quite well so far. And the staff that are here are excellent. I'm very happy with my garden home and have had no problems.

It's a very friendly, cozy, small-feeling place where the people really care about who they care for. No one is a stranger here for long. The cliché that places like these are cold isn't true here. It's comfortable and you quickly become a friend and someone that's known. No one falls through the cracks.

It's very comfortable, the apartment and people are lovely, no complaints. I would recommend it!

We toured the memory unit. Everything was just okay. Did not look like a lot going on. Could have been a down time but was hoping to see more activity and interaction. Unit was bright but had a few stains on furniture and floor, but that happens. A little pricey.

The mission and what the managers are communicating is wonderful. The individuals who are doing the leg work are understaffed and therefore the mission is not met. My loved one enjoyed the food that was served.

Our tour was fine. I felt Traditions would have been adequate for my loved one's needs, but I left the decision up to her. She didn't have anything negative to say about Traditions. She just felt a stronger connection with a different community.

I really liked this facility when we toured it. I would have put my mom here if it was less expensive, for memory care it was double what we are paying at her facility that she is in now.

We chose Traditions of Beavercreek because of the facility itself and the amenities that they provided. It was also very clean when we toured it. They also have villas for more independent living. The room sizes here were good. I do feel like they were understaffed and had some turnover, but the staff here did the best that they could do. One of the staff was very involved with our loved ones care and went above and beyond. Overall, I would recommend.

I think it's a good place for my loved one. She has some confusion, but not really full-fledged dementia. A lot of the residents around her and more confused, but she requires more total care in terms of her physical well-being. She's confined to a wheelchair and is the textbook definition of frail elderly. I think she gets along well with the staff. She's "with it" most of the time, and they're able to take care of her bodily needs. Their communication with us is pretty good. We've set up a schedule to have a Zoom meeting three times a week. During the Spring that was working well, but during the Summer it's fallen off a bit, perhaps due to vacations and things. But we've been able to adapt to phone calls instead. In terms of anything like medication changes, falls, anything out of the ordinary, they call you right away. So I have no qualms about that.

We chose Gentry Park Bloomington because it was very nice and she had a porch off of her room so she could go out of her apartment. During covid that was great because we could visit her outside from her porch. I realize staff is always so busy, but I do think they need to encourage her to get out of her room more and I think they could improve on their communication to family as well.

[name removed] provided a nice tour. The management staff has been with the place since they opened 4.5 years ago. The place appeared clean. The residents interacted with [name removed] as she showed me around via facetime. All interactions seemed pleasant. They offer respite care which would enable us to move my father ahead of his belongings. However, depending on the level of care he needs he may not be able to afford this place either.

[name removed] has been wonderful working hard to make the place affordable for my father. Unfortunately, long term I don't think he can afford this facility. It is beautiful and as I said [name removed] is very nice and helpful.

I really feel it has been a good place and we are happy with the selection we made. The staff really tries to deal with any turnover quickly and really have their community at heart and care. They are trying their best to care for the residents to their best ability. I really compared and this is a really nice for the money. It is nice and clean. The administration have given our loved ones their cell phone number and are willing to go above and beyond even after hours. The staff were quick to learn and call my parent's by name and made them feel at home quickly. The activities director meet with my parents and got to know what they liked to draw them out and help them adjust quickly to the community. My loved ones say the portions are small; however, the community is willing to give more food. The menu in general is good with good variety. I would put myself here if I were my loved one's age.

We have made the transition to this community, and so far we have no complaints about Traditions, and the community is just streets away from our family. The food here is really tasty, and we don't have to cook which is a big plus but they do not rotate the food as much as they should. The kitchen is not particularly friendly for those who are shorter or that can not reach up high, and the cabinets are really deep.

Considering everything that is going on, they have a lot of things to still do, you can constantly stay busy. The rooms are nice, we enjoy our apartment and we would recommend this community to others.

We chose Traditions at Camargo because it was a new facility and it seemed to have everything that we wanted/needed, especially a memory care unit. It also seemed that the residents there were happy and it is in a nice area. The room sizes here are very nice and spacious. They have a lovely outdoor porch that can be accessed in any type of weather because part of it covered. They also have a large activity area and the facility itself is very inviting. The only complaint I have had is that they have had a big turnover of staff. Overall, I has been a good experience and I would recommend.

Overall they did a good job keeping covid out of the facility until mid-November. The community needs to work on its communication, My mother was quarantined and I was not communicated with her while she was. We had trouble getting them to answer the phone when we would call to check on her.

Brookdale Zanesville is more like one big family, they are very heart felt and care about everyone there. The rooms are really nice, updated and well kept. The residents can make it their own so it does not look institutional. We think their food is good, and they adhere to the residents dietary restrictions and needs.

The overall atmosphere of this community really stood out to us, and we believe the meals are higher than average. We also think the service is perfect, and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.

They have bands that will come and play for the residents outside. They have bingo available for residents, along with other activities to choose from. I am very comfortable here. The staff are very friendly. The food hasn't been very good for me.
