Traditions Management

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. There were some challenges in getting my loved one settled into the community. There were some issues with medication management set up for our loved one in the beginning. However, I haven't seen any other hiccups since. The executive director was very welcoming on the first day. The room for my loved one was very nice. They allowed the family to move our loved one items into the community quickly as well. The community was able to see that my loved one needed additional care. They have been able to assist with medication management, dressing, and bathing assistance to name a few of the care types offered.

The community is very friendly and helpful towards the residents and families. The atmosphere is more home like than a nursing home. The staff are great about getting back to me about answers to my questions or concerns. Some of the activities available include church, music, crafts, and more for the residents to choose from. My loved one seems to be happy with the meals. There are a couple of choices per meal for the residents to choose from. My loved one really enjoys the desserts offered. Housekeeping, laundry, care, the apartment, utilities, and changing of linens are included in the monthly fee. I do provide snacks that my loved one enjoys for them to snack on.

The friendliest place with the most socialized residents of multiple facilities we reviewed and toured . Traditions will bend over backwards to make a tough situation as good as possible. In our case geographically convenient, but that was a minor part of decision. The team here will make you feel like they are your relatives as well

Overall this is good place for a loved one to be cared for. Any time I have any problems they are usually fixed in a timely manner. I do feel communication needs to be improved but other than that they take good care of my loved one and he likes the employees and care he receives.

I've been generally happy with Brookdale. The staff is caring, and I feel like my mom is safe there. They've been very diligent about covid protocols and are thoughtful about how the quarantines that they put in place. The director makes herself available to the families and she's very responsive. Like many places in the area, they've had staffing issues which have caused some problems with resident care and communications, but the staff that is there works hard to try to overcome that. The memory care area does not have enough staff to provide adquate engagement for the residents.

I think it is a great location for me. They take good care of my loved one. They answer all of my questions. They came together for an overall review after 30 days to review any concerns I may have had. I was pleased with the outcome.

We chose Five Star Residences because it just felt homier. She had some acquaintances as well and the price was in our budget. One thing that has been an issue is the coordination between IU health, 5 star, and the medication provider. It has taken an awful lot of back and forth to keep her medical care coordinated. A lot of balls have been dropped but things seem to be improving. The staff are more than willing to work with you through everything and have been really quick to help us. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Our first impression and what we noticed right away was the people there. The staff members and even the residents are very friendly and have a desire to help. Even though our loved one does not choose to participate in the activities they do have plenty to offer during the day.

They have super friendly staff, are responsive, and caring. Overall it is a good experience for us and my loved one. I can call anytime to check on my loved one. Everything is good. I would recommend Brookdale Lakeview Crossing to others.

We've pretty much had a good experience. The place is clean. They keep it up. They're friendlier than any place like this I've ever been in. And I think they're doing good with the care they're providing to my loved one.

Traditions is an assisted living memory care facility that opened in June 2020... which was a hard time for everyone. I chose it for my 84 year old mother with rapidly worsening dementia and I'm very happy I did. All the staff have been so courteous and caring with her. The challenges they have faced with keeping employees is similar to everywhere else in this "post-pandemic" times... I know they are doing the best they can. Highly recommend.

Nursing department needs lot of attention, especially regarding timing and accuracy of meds. Food service - dining room is not always clean and staff needs training on how to handle dirty dishes and serving food with appropriate utensils.

The staff at Park Place was professional and gave a good tour. But the cost was considerably higher, and I just didn't feel a warmth there that I felt at the facility I ultimately moved into.

We chose Traditions because they had a discount rate going on at the time that we were looking. He has got a private room and it is a good size for him. I do think they could use improvement on communication to families as far as far as what is going on. Overall I woudl recommend them to others.

I would definitely recommend them. It was a great place. There was good communication from the staff to our family. The care was great. They're very involved with their residents.

The management team at Traditions was available, communicative, and always willing to help through my Father-in-law's transition there. So many residents are happy and enjoying their time due to the team's efforts, from dining to activities.

I love the staff. They are helpful and the building is clean.

I am pleased with my apartment and with the community itself. Friendly staff and comfortable living.

Traditions is a friendly place. We have been there for 2 years and are happy living there. It's not perfect but we are content and would not consider moving.

Room for improvement but given the difficulty in finding good workers, not bad at all. Home to me.
