Traditions Management

I really feel it has been a good place and we are happy with the selection we made. The staff really tries to deal with any turnover quickly and really have their community at heart and care. They are trying their best to care for the residents to their best ability. I really compared and this is a really nice for the money. It is nice and clean. The administration have given our loved ones their cell phone number and are willing to go above and beyond even after hours. The staff were quick to learn and call my parent's by name and made them feel at home quickly. The activities director meet with my parents and got to know what they liked to draw them out and help them adjust quickly to the community. My loved ones say the portions are small; however, the community is willing to give more food. The menu in general is good with good variety. I would put myself here if I were my loved one's age.

We have made the transition to this community, and so far we have no complaints about Traditions, and the community is just streets away from our family. The food here is really tasty, and we don't have to cook which is a big plus but they do not rotate the food as much as they should. The kitchen is not particularly friendly for those who are shorter or that can not reach up high, and the cabinets are really deep.

Considering everything that is going on, they have a lot of things to still do, you can constantly stay busy. The rooms are nice, we enjoy our apartment and we would recommend this community to others.

We chose Traditions at Camargo because it was a new facility and it seemed to have everything that we wanted/needed, especially a memory care unit. It also seemed that the residents there were happy and it is in a nice area. The room sizes here are very nice and spacious. They have a lovely outdoor porch that can be accessed in any type of weather because part of it covered. They also have a large activity area and the facility itself is very inviting. The only complaint I have had is that they have had a big turnover of staff. Overall, I has been a good experience and I would recommend.

Overall they did a good job keeping covid out of the facility until mid-November. The community needs to work on its communication, My mother was quarantined and I was not communicated with her while she was. We had trouble getting them to answer the phone when we would call to check on her.

Brookdale Zanesville is more like one big family, they are very heart felt and care about everyone there. The rooms are really nice, updated and well kept. The residents can make it their own so it does not look institutional. We think their food is good, and they adhere to the residents dietary restrictions and needs.

The overall atmosphere of this community really stood out to us, and we believe the meals are higher than average. We also think the service is perfect, and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.

They have bands that will come and play for the residents outside. They have bingo available for residents, along with other activities to choose from. I am very comfortable here. The staff are very friendly. The food hasn't been very good for me.

Traditions at Brookside is a wonderful facility. [name removed] did an amazing job with our tour and giving us all of the information and taking care of the admission process especially with Covid challenges. [name removed] is an amazing director. She even went herself to pick up cable for mom's telephone and installed it herself. I think the staff, nurses, therapists and aides are very helpful. They seem a little stretched and I think that is due to the challenges from all the Ccovid protocols necessary at this time. And I appreciate all of those precautions.

Beautiful place! My mom and dad really like it and as hard as it is to move, they are excited about moving in. From first touring to setting a move in date the process has been as smooth as one could expect. I LOVE the idea of the move in coordinator being with them to help for few weeks to come to help them get settled. Traditions at Hunter Station was the best community by far and so glad we decided to go with them.

Unfortunately, I don't have specific stories to share because my mom admitted to Brookdale Medina South during COVID, so I don't get inside the building, and my outside visits with her are few and far between. I will say throughout COVID, they have done an excellent job to keep all residents and staff safe from the virus. They are very accessible by phone and text to answer any questions I have, and I feel they truly care for my mom and treat her well. She is in the memory care unit and has made a few friends with whom she spends her days.

They do a good job overall! I'd change a few things but they have worked very hard during this uncertain time.

I was very pleased with the overall community. I am interested in Independent Living and felt that their garden homes were quite lovely. I plan to decide with my family and have them get back we will look at this again.

Really wish we could see mom more but understand rules have to be followed. Staff work very hard to help residents and families.

My husband had a double room with each side having large windows, a large bathroom, and really large closet. As my husbands needs increased I need to bring in my own caregiver. It was a lovely place but they were not able to manage higher care needs. They did welcome hospice.

I would say that there definitely needs to be family participation in the care services. It is a nice facility but the don't have the ability, or the staffing, to offer a higher level of care. They can only offer very basic assisted living care. We chose Traditions because it was a pretty facility, close to our home, and was a smaller facility .

We are quite happy living at Traditions at Brookside. The staff and other residents are helpful and friendly. Our town home is well designed, comfortable and spacious. The staff works hard trying to accommodate the interested of residents. I think the rent is high. However, I am learning that all retirement homes are expensive. Traditions rents are in line with other comparable facilities in the area. There have been some problems with service in the dining room. Service has been spotty. However, management is working to solve those problems. The food is generally quite good.

Watched this place being built - didn't know I would be living here. But it's been a wonderful 2 years. Lots of new friends and entertainment. Staff great.

Current place of residence. Care costs escalating.

Beautiful facility. Large community. This would be too much walking for my mom. It is a one level facility, which is a must for my mom, but this is just not a good fit at this time.
