Traditions Management

My loved one is currently a resident at Quincy Place Senior Living. The facility seems to prefer to work with the residents as opposed to the family. There are a lot of activities, which may drive up the onetime admission fee. The move in process was good. The staff is a bit of a hit or miss. Some of the aides are friendlier than others.

Has a friendly small community feel. Provides good service for assisted living. Caring staff!

We have a gathering area with chairs, tables and umbrellas where many of our neighbors gather weather permitting in the evenings. Its in the center of our little housing group so it's right out front. Lots of good conversation and laughter. Wonderful neighbors.

My experience has been good as whenever I have had a question or issue, I have been listened to & problems have been resolved. And I would recommend Traditions of Lebanon to a friend.

All facilities seem to struggle to keep staff, but there was good continuity among direct care providers, which was very helpful. They were going through a really rough patch with management changes followed by a buy-out. Hopefully they've already addressed the issues I observed. Dad went to another facility with a higher level of care in July, and passed in October.

It was clean and felt that the aide turnover was less. They really worked with me when I needed help. I also had very good feedback from other folks. Really nice people.

My mother recently moved into the Memory Care unit at Meadows. The administration and staff have been amazing. They helped make a very tough season of life a little bit smoother. Their care for my mother, quick response time to my many questions, and attention to detail when it comes to her care plan, have been much appreciated.

I like the community. What impressed me the most is the communication. Response is quick and there's a willingness to listen as well as accommodate if possible. Beautiful facility, well planned. Staff are open and easy to work with. Food in memory care could use a bit of improvement. Overall a very nice and friendly place, caring atmosphere, always something planned to keep residents busy.I would recommend to others

Overall it's a great community with caring staff and they offer a lot of activities but the general cost of care can be overwhelming as we expect it is at other similar locations.

They sell the facility by saying they have Medicaid beds and the level of care they provide is the same as provided in a skilled nursing home I would recommend them to others looking, overall I am very satisfied.

The staff is friendly, however communication can be a little difficult. Better once they get to know you. Housekeeping is good except the one week they had no housekeeping staff. Move in was easy and went well. Meals are pretty good. Portions are a little small. We would recommend this facility to others.

I would say that the transition of ownership cause some significant churn and resulted in a turnover of staff. Even though they seem to be understaffed it is obvious that most of the caregivers are very conscientious and want to take care of the residents. I know there are also some issues with the meal selection and quality of food but once again I believe this is a result of the transition so giving Traditions the benefit of the doubt I would still say I would pick this facility over any of the others I visited.We initially liked the feel of the building and the spaces and the rooms. They felt very much like a Holiday Inn Club vacation resort. The second reason we chose them was because their primary leadership communicated very well and seemed very pleasant. Since I was going to be doing with the leadership at the original Danbury assisted living that was a plus for me. They were also immediately adjacent to the new park at Beulah Park and had nice enclosed patio and Lawn. They also seem to be very active and my mom took advantage of that for her first 6 to 7 months.

Traditions of Lebanon is a nice fancy place, but Memory Care has its own culture that doesn't match the rest of the campus. Lately, I have been annoyed with housekeeping's lack of detail in my loved one's room. Both housekeeping and laundry service. I understand that they have had issues with staffing in these areas. I was appalled to see many of my loved one's clean clothing items thrown in her armoire inside out, both tops and bottoms. Total disrespect! Other times I've come in to find that her bed was never made. Maybe in Memory Care there is less emphasis made to these residents vs those in Assisted Living. The floors are often needing attention, both in my loved one's room and in the dining room. Several staff sit behind the nursing desk, some 4-5 people at a time. I never see anyone cleaning tables. They are often chatting among themselves and I feel like I'm interrupting to ask a question. I have picked my loved one up for an appointment at the arranged time that I set with the staff, only to find that she had food all over her clothes and I had to change her outfit before I took her for her appointment. I also do not like the phone system. You have to be transferred to the Memory Care unit by the receptionist and they may be too busy to answer the phone. In other care facilities I've noticed that several of the nurses carried a cellphone to be reached easily. There was more of a connection. Also, communication between the nursing staff needs to improve. I have received calls from them about things that my loved one needs only to have to tell them that I already supplied those things and that they are there and available for my loved one. Overall, lots of room for improvement.

I am overall quite pleased with them...just a few staff issues with housekeeping and care but working on it. I am pleased and mom is happy...well as happy as she can be. For anyone looking for a place for mom or dad, these people are caring and offer so much help in navigating all the details involved as it can be quite overwhelming. They made me feel more comfortable and knowledgeable in making these decisions...thanks so much!

The facility is very clean and well maintained. Maintenance is very responsive. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Move in was a struggle with various nuisance things like cable/wifi connection. The is a distinct lack of leadership. The director is not accessible to the residents and it seems, from the outside looking in, not to the staff either. There have been multiple instances were the right doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Both my mother and I have had and have long careers in the business world. This facility is lacking leadership, organization, communication, and is poorly run. One strong suggestion is a list of move in instructions. Contact information, who is responsible for what services, when is the trash pick up, cable/wifi connection, etc. One comprehensive list of general need to know facts when you move in to a new place. This would make it easier on the staff as well as they would not have to take time out of their day to answer continuous questions. It is a good place. It just needs some organizational and management/operational upgrades.

From the first time I visited 5 ?? they showed genuine compassion and care giving. The first visit they went out of there to say we are a family, and every single action since then has affirmed this statement. Most importantly my mom loves her home and the community of people inside that building.

Active support of family members, without overkill (not visiting EVERYDAY) very helpful. Lots of encouragement! When we find someone in need, we will surely recommend Quincy place!

My loved one is currently a resident at Traditions at Hunter Station and everything that we've dealt with has been very good so far. I would recommend this facility to others.

My experience here at Traditions at North Willow has been a positive one. The nursing staff has been extremely helpful and caring for me and my wife. They are all friendly and I am thankful to all the staff at Traditions for showing up each day to take care of us residents here in the community. There is a wide variety of activities that I participate in and having the option of weekly Catholic Mass has been a blessing.

Everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. Servers at lunch most of them are very nice and we have been pleased with interaction with everyone. Food isn't always the best. It is hit and miss on that but everyone is friendly and helpful.
