Our family had an in person tour with Truewood by Merrill and we thought overall it was a good tour experience. We were impressed with [name removed] who works there

The staff was down to earth and friendly.They offer lots of activities too. We love it.My loved one is in memory care. They make sure she's clean, and has on clean clothes.

Our situation is unusual. Spring Haven changed owners 3 weeks after my dad moved in. When my dad moved in, no one was able to tell us what days were laundry or housekeeping, what the processes were and basic information. The marketing department and nursing department are wonderful! They really updated my dad's apartment nicely before he moved in. We were told during the tour that my dad could use the downstairs remodeled dining room that wasn't open yet. When it opened, he was told that assisted living could only use the dining room on the 2nd floor. Was this because of new owners? The sidewalks need to have the sand swept away, the parking lot has pot holes, and the grass is in dire need of replanting. We were told this was due to Hurricane and would be fixed. Lots of wood flooring has duct tape holding them down, because of warping. Repairs are being made, so you have to overlook all this. Overall we did have a positive experience.

Overall staff retention needs to improve. I would recommend to others. We've liked it so far. One negative is that nursing staff has a high turnover rate. But the staff seems to care about patient well-being. My loved one loves the food there.

Our family had an in person tour with Balmoral Assisted Living and it was in the middle of some renovations, but the staff and residents that I met were very friendly. I would give them a 4. Ultimately we liked another community better because it was all on one floor and had a furnished room to offer which is what our loved one wanted.

There are three meals a day, walk in to the beautiful dining area and be seated, you are attended to right away. The staff is very friendly and [name removed] (sales manager) is very friendly and helpful. She has outdone expectations.

The whole front area of the facility was damaged by a hurricane 5 months ago and we're still waiting for that to be fixed. The activities are lacking a bit. Mom says the food is pretty darn good. I'd say this facility is above average overall, but not great.

I picked this community, because of the friendliness, and helpfulness. The people to seem to like their job and people. I would recommend to other families.

Area of improvements - dining room is understaffed and food is average at best. Certain areas could use more deep cleaning. My mother in law is in independent living currently but will be transitioning to memory care at some point. We may move her to another facility for that since I've found out they never let the memory care residents outside.

This was a very, very nice community during the tour and signing the paper for our loved one. There is a huge book they provided to the family to review. They seem to care about our loved one. There is some confusion to the family on who to approach for our questions about our loved one. It is confusing to know who does what to care for our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents. There are snacks and plenty of food provided to the residents as well.

I believe the community is short staffed in memory care. However, the staff they have works hard to support the residents in the memory care unit. There are three meals a day served to the residents. The community is able to accommodate dietary restrictions. The staff communication with family and friends is good about our loved one.

This has been a positive experience with the community for us. I feel it was better than a prior community my loved one was at. I believe the community could use more staff; however, I feel a lot of communities could all use more staff as well. If your loved one needs more assistance the communities will place your loved one in Memory Care instead of Assisted Living. The meals currently are buffet due to the community working on the kitchen updates. I believe once the kitchen reopens the meals will improve.

We really like the community atmosphere of Princess Martha, we have not been able to see the community yet but our loved one seems happy. They seem to recruit the right people within management and they always have great follow up which we really appreciate. Whenever we have questions or concerns they look into it. Our loved one really likes the meals and dining service - the dining service gives her different options to eat in the dining hall or her room. She likes how they have house keeping come once a week to tidy things up. The staff are genuinely caring and show concern and we really like how this community has multiple elevators

Joined friends touring AL7 - amazed with the teamwork and family atmosphere. Residents were happy, engaged. Friendly care staff worked as a team providing attention - just down to earth - simple but very respectful. Our friends chose to move loved ones here.

Seemed like a nice facility on our tour stop, had somethings that could be better presented when doing a tour. Needed entryway carpets cleaned and some other maybe deep cleaning when showing potential residents on tours.

They are doing really great and she really likes it. Everyone has been wonderful to her and feel is a great place.

My loved one seems very happy here. The meals are served as a neighborhood to allow the residents that live next to each other, get to know each other and allow the residents to interact as well. The apartment for my loved one is good. My loved one has a bedroom, living area, and a mini kitchen. This gives my loved one enough space and it makes it feel like a true apartment.

Balmoral Assisted Living is a very nice facility and the staff are friendly. We have had a few minor issues, but nothing major.

The reason we picked this community is because the location, it is in the same area our loved one was living in previously and the price.
