Our family had an in person tour and we thought the community was really nice and we really liked how they had a Catholic priest do church services, but at the time we needed to move our loved one they did not have any one bedroom apartments available.

I think Old Main Village is a really awesome place. They have so many activities and opportunities for social interaction. The facility always looks really clean. The public bathrooms downstairs are clean. The staff all seem really friendly. I would move there myself in a heartbeat. My loved one is having a hard time adjusting and is not participating for reasons outside of their control, but I think it's a really nice place.

We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The benefit of Garden Ridge is having a larger apartment as a result of Independent Living with license as assisted. There is ample storage and a beautiful courtyard with each apartment having their own patio area on first floor; otherwise a balcony. They need to use brighter paints in facility and apartments as color affects mood especially for people with mild to moderate cognitive changes. The food is not prepared in a way that is quality for residents with diabetes which is unfortunate. Although it is an independent living community, it is important to be mindful for staff to create ways to actively include residents in activities or celebrations.

My loved one does not seem to like the food. They are lacking in activites but they just hired a new activities director. They are under rennovation, and my loved ones apartment is beautiful. If they had more activies it would be much better. In addition, if they made all of the door electronic that would be nice, which would be good for those who are on a scooter or walker.

It was a nice community but we did not see any residents, out and about. It wasn't as homey. We did not see any activitie,s or engagement of the residents during the tour.

Overall Chandler Place was a great experience for my loved one and it relieved a lot of stress on my part, as my loved one recovered at their respite care. I do want to add that my loved one thought the meals were salty, so much that my loved ones feet, ankles, and legs swelled up right away. This problem didn't remedy itself until she moved out of respite care.

I thought Senita Ridge was a gorgeous place. They had big rooms. But it just seemed a little hollow. I saw people kind of sitting around and not that much activity going on.

It's very nice and clean. The interaction with the staff has been really good. Every Thursday it's an outing, which has included going out to eat. They offer activites such as; Bingo, dominoes, movies twice per week, and a happy hour every Friday. There is loads of things to do. It's a clean, and friendly place. I have recommended to my sibling also.

I toured this community and it was really nice, but the rooms were pretty small compared to several other places. Everything else seemed great!

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one seems to like it here. The staff are friendly. This is a well rounded and well taken care of community. The staff communication with the family is good. They are responsive to our questions about our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents and there are choices to choose from, and snacks are also provided.

The communication from the newsletters could be more specific. It would be nice if they returned calls. They are doing a pretty good job with the care services. Some of the food options, is not geared towards the dietary needs of the elderly. They have arts/crafts, and board games but my loved one is not interested in those activities. The food choices for the elderly needs to improve. Overall, I am happy that my loved one is at this community, and has adjusted.

I toured this community and it's nice. It's more updated than the other two buildings of the facility. Kept clean and staff is friendly. The only downfall is that the restrooms are very small and no walk in showers.

My loved one lived at The Commons on Marice for about 6 months before she moved out, as it was just too expensive. She ran out of money living there because they charged so much for her care services, not so much for the rent. The costs of the care services increased and she couldn't afford to live there anymore. We had to move somewhere that had an elderly waiver and medical assistance. During her stay, it was very nice. The head nurses on staff could answer questions for you. They would always check on your loved one and they reported back when anything changed; they made sure to keep you in the loop. The Commons had very nice surroundings and it was a nice place to live.

Mom liked where she lived before as she had more independence. She liked doing her own laundry and similar type daily routines. The main dining room is never full as the Memory care (where mom is) has their own separate dining hall. So not certain what the times are when they eat.

We like the community and feel that my loved one is happy here. I would recommend the community to others. The only concern I have is the food they serve to the memory care residents, as it feels like they think the residents don't care what type of food they will receive. It would be nice to see more options for the residents to choose from.

I liked Autumn Glen. They had a very nice entryway and common areas. But what I liked the most is I got more information from the staff there than I got from all the other places I toured combined. They were so good and very informative.

Our loved one was only there for a couple months for respite care and she really enjoyed her stay. We live out of state so we never laid eyes on the community but she never complained about the cleanliness of the place. She was very happy with her room, but the only complaint she had, had to do with the mail. There was some inconsistency with receiving mail sometimes and not receiving mail other times - but we think since she did not have a permanent room there she did not get a PO Box like the other residents did. She seemed very pleased with the meals and dining service and really happy with all the different activities.

Everything we saw from The Commons on Marice looked good. They had plenty of visitor parking and it is very easy to get to. We actually considered them, but thought another facility we saw might be a better fit and that was not the case.

This community has good services and my parents are being taken care of well at this community. Due to covid they only have meals that are not in the dinning room that are delivered to the room. This is not very satisfying to people who would like to be outside of the room. They have a lot of activities but my parents do not have the initiative to go to them and there is no encouragement for them to go. It is up to them to make it to the activities and they never go so I feel like there could be more encouragement for the activities.
