I chose Washington commons because when we walked in it seemed really good. Also, a lot of people that I know told me really good things about it. It was satisfactory after going through everything with the director. I would recommend this community.

We chose Washington Commons because of the convenience and the affordability. The apartment sizes are very nice and large. The food is pretty good, they had a 2 choice menu for each meal. Overall, I would recommend this community to people who need less care and are more independent.

Before COVID they had a lot of great activities available. They could play balloon volleyball, bingo, corn hole, they also had game night. There was horse racing, a lot of live music, and movie nights most of the time. There was church groups available, and they would hold special parties and through one big event a month. Now because of COVID it is slightly different. There was on individual who we worked with that was amazing. She went out of her way to make us and our loved one feel comfortable, she went help our loved one make friends with the other residents. Everyone has gone above and beyond keeping everyone safe during COVID.

Lighthouse Pointe is an independent living community so besides the food service and house keeping there aren't any of care services. However, if you are in need of more personal care, you are able to hire outside services for that. The food at this community is about a two or three out of five stars. There are a variety of room sizes to choose from, the overall layout is very open and bright

My parents were residents 12 and 9 years ago and my mother is one since right before the shutdown. The staff has worked tirelessly and very kindly though it all. They deserve much praise for it. We rely on the assistance provided through the onsite caregivers, medical + therapy options that enhance independent living at 94 years old, and during the loneliness of sheltering in place. A second elevator is much needed all else is great!

I would say the community is very welcoming. The exterior is attractive, good value for the rent. The food options are not necessarily able to be individualized. The community is slow to repair minor issues. If there needs to be a light bulb or closet door repaired, they don't get to it immediately. If it has to do with plumbing, it would be done immediately. Their maintenance is not swift when it needs to be, in my opinion. My mother is very happy there, she likes the aesthetics, she likes the staff, food, and community. They have one or two options, if the resident has a dietary restrictions. They don't accommodate for allergies and if it is heart wise for the restriction, they only have one option. The community prides themselves, on independent living. It is staffed from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm so they don't staff for those residents need additional attention. They would recommend an outside agency if the resident needs further needs.

Management team is friendly, hard-working, competent, cooperative. It's a friendly place.

I would give them a plus. I feel comfortable here and the staff is friendly. We do have food in the dining area was good, before COVID. The food is being delivered to our room, and it isn't as warm and the selection isn't good as before. The delivery isn't set up to be done. One thing you have to consider is the price, this is much better than other communities I visited. It's as good as it get.

The staff at The Regency House are quite friendly and the food is good. During this time of the pandemic, activities are just beginning start up again. House keeping does a great job with cleaning my apartment. The facility is kept clean. I have enjoyed meeting residents as the dining room has begun serving again and I'm impressed with how difficult it must be to do room service to 83 residents for an extended period of time. I do not have insurance for health care here, but have met some of the health care providers who seem to be quite capable and conscientious with good people skills. The room sizes and layout of the community are good. The food is okay. They have outdoor space but it is rarely used. My mom has dementia, it is hard not being able to go visit weekly. Overall it has been a positive experience.

My wife & I really appreciate the management & staff for their strict care for us to keep us safe during this challenging time. We have been here for 8 years & wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My thanks to all the staff for the work they do. Especially during pandemics, hurricanes, and even a snowstorm, you have kept Ashley park going and helped keep [name removed] comfortable.

Everyone is friendly! Food is good! Activities ([name removed]) were great before quarantine! They are getting better now. [name removed] is excellent! Friendly, great housekeeper!

Service is great. Kitchen is a disaster. Food isn't fit to eat. Management helpful and friendly. Room service, great job.

We need new furniture in the common areas i.e. hallways, living area, library, TV room, pool room, lobby/atrium, entryways. The management group here is great. The chef is wonderful. We need an additional maintenance man. (part-time).

The community is always clean and always presentable. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. We do think they could use more transportation for some of the off-community activities. The food is a bit mediocre. We do feel Washington Commons is a good value for the price.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have had the community on lock down and have been very careful with sanitizing everything. Previous to the lock down, they had a lot of activities available for the residents. During the lock down, they have made an active effort to keep residents entertained, like playing hallway bingo from a safe distance. The food and service has declined slightly since the lock down, but previous to that, it was pretty good. We feel River's Edge is a good value for the price. They do seem to struggle with keeping their maintenance personnel and as a result maintenance requests can take a little longer than normal to be resolved.

Very nice facility and the staff and residents seemed very friendly. No progressive assistance so if you worsen you can end up out. Covid kept us from actually seeing the place.

We live at the Town Center at the Fountains at Lake Pointe Woods. The most important facets of living here are the very friendly and caring residents; and the very pleasant and delightful staff. The feeling during this lock-down due to the virus...we are safe and secure. We may not always be happy with the restrictions, but we are all well and getting very good care. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. They are helpful to the residents. They have a lot of activities. Room sizes are nice compared to other places. I chose the location because it was close to my house and the unit was a similar size to her previous apartment. You can’t beat it for the price.
