We chose Noveau Marc because she is able to have a balcony and the room size was bigger than some others that we looked into. The meals here are chef prepared and she enjoys them. The staff members have been extremely friendly. We do have to get on them about cleaning the rooms, they are supposed to come weekly but not always happen. I would recommend to others looking.

Our virtual tour at Nouveau Marc was fine. I was a little taken aback by the community fee. They went through everything, and then it was brought up at the end, which was a bit of a shock. I know other communities have those fees as well, but this one was so high.

We get help when needed. It's pleasant. But, we get too much carbohydrates (i.e. rice, pasta, potatoes/starch). We do not get very many vegetables. I am content here and have signed up for as long as I'm able to stay here.

We really liked The Blake at Township. The director was unable to meet with us that day for the tour, but the gal who showed us around was so gracious and flexible. They have a really pretty lake and the room sizes here were great. They called me recently just to check in on my mom and how she was doing and that really meant a lot to me. We had a great tour experience.

We chose Nouveau Marc because it was closer to her original residence, so it kept her in the same neighborhood. The apartment sizes at the facility are average and adequate for what she needs. They are very responsive when there are any questions or concerns, someone will always answer your call. I would recommend to others.

Loved the location. The staff and residents we met were all friendly and this would be a great community to live in. The menu and the activity calendar are varied and perfect for seniors. The independent living accommodations are a bit dated and may be for more active seniors as there are no benches in the showers and the doorways are narrow. Another negative for my parents is the walk from the apartment to the community areas for dining, activities, etc. as they are in a separate building.
