I really liked the place and all the activities offered. I’m coming up short financially. I’m still interested and would like updates on availability. As a 70 yr. old veteran, there’s got to be a program that could help me . I can’t ask my 2 children to help, they both are going through some life changes. Hopefully this will settle down, and I can have that financial help discussion with them. Keep me on the waiting list , Please !

Everything here is going great and I like the place very much. The food is excellent as far as I'm concerned the place is very clean and neat. They have many activities for everyone to participate all in all. This was a good choice.

When I first went into GlennCrest I had visited other places. I wanted to check them because I heard several people had good experience. I was excited, I knew this was the place for Dad. The place didn't feel like an assistant living, it felt like big family reunion they were playing games, some people eating, some out on sunroom reading. I felt the directors explained everything and helped me. The staff made Dad feel like I he was being taken care of by family. My Dad loves it there and I am pleased they made him feel as that was their Dad too. I received a message today from his healthcare team my Dad had gained 3 lbs. I was so excited, he loves the food and different snacks he has during day.

I felt welcomed by every staff member on my visit and managers changed right after I moved in and the new managers are the best -- they check with us daily and keep us informed on any upon g changes and every staff member knows us by name and speaks every time we pass them and check on how we are. I do feel like we are a family because of the very interesting residents from all walks of life and from many different places. I so much enjoying returning to past decades where we all can share similar and different experiences. The managers and staff provide a wide array of fun and activities and entertainment that suit our range of ages from ages 55 to 95. At 81 I enjoy sharing from the 1940's to the early 2000's which cover most of our parents who influenced us and our lives. I would recommend Barkley assisted living Residence as excellent for those looking to be active and like to socialize with others as well as to those who prefer to spend more time alone or with their pets. I have met different types of personalities and have chatted with the shy ones and the outgoing and find Barkley provides wonderful opportunities for semi-shy people like me who really want to meet new people and participate in group activities and also have talked with residents who prefer very little interaction who have invited me to meet their pets or show me something special in their apartment. Those who want privacy seem to like the Residence as well as those who never miss a group action. I have also seen true kindness from management and staff for the few residence who have handicaps or need slightly more attention. By the way, while still reserved, I am now volunteering to be an ambassador for new residents to help them get acclimated to how the residence operates and what it provides.

It seems to be great. It is nice and clean with great communication.

They really took my my mom's precise needs in to account. They provided excellent management of issues that arose during discharge from the prevoius facility. The staff treat you like your joining a family. Most importantly my Mother feels safe.

I love the family like feel of the place. the entire staff was eager to help and answer any questions we had. the director was awesome he helped to move us in. I love how everyone feels like family

5 on everything so far. Staff is very responsive and look happy. CNA's have been there for years so not much turnover. Good portions are larger, varied and very flavorful. No carpeting anywhere and very clean.

[name removed] did a very good job explaining everything to us and showing us the facility. All the residents we encountered were friendly and seemed very happy. Since we were touring for an out of State family member, it will be up to them to determine if they want to move and if this facility meets their needs and expectations.

I love it there. Wish I could move in too! Ha ha! If I need a place like yours down the road Sunrise would be where I go! And I like the dining room. It looks like a five star restaurant! And you have real chefs so I'm sure the food is fabulous!

I find the staff very receptive, pleasant, and supportive of residents. They engage residents in activities and know them by name. Activities are scheduled regularly throughout the day, monthly field trips are planned, shopping is available for residents, in-house cleaning is available, and medication management is available.

Excellent. Very friendly and gave a good impression. Food looked great. Residents seemed happy. One of the best we’ve seen.

Staff is very helpful. [name removed] is great, very accommodating and responsive. I love working with him.

The staff is amazing -- friendly, caring, and helpful. I would give the staff a 5/5. What could be improved is communication. It's hard to get in touch with the nurse practitioner, for example.

The grounds were clean and well kept; the staff were helpful and willing to listen; the apartments were clean and quiet. They also have “ambassadors “ to help the “newbies” get accustomed to the surroundings! How very thoughtful. I believe Haywood Estates/Barclay House is the right fit for our mom.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Everyone was very welcoming and they helped us through a very difficult situation. I would recommend. Especially for someone who didn't qualify for Assisted Living as in our case. They took care of her very well even though Fairmont is an "Independent Living"

Great site, great staff I enjoy interacting with and they have been attentive to my mother and what she needs. I would recommend the Blake if anyone asked.

Truthfully, I would give each category a 5 for River's Edge. My brother and I both said we could live there easily. Rivers Edge was a good experience for us. My sister is still adjusting, but seems to like it.

Approximately five months ago [Name removed] moved to Dogwood Terrace. He is settled in and very pleased with his new home. I am glad he has access to assistance as needed and many opportunities to be with his peers. We continue to be pleased with the move to Dogwood Terrace.

The whole place had beautiful open spaces for residents. Every staff member I met was remarkably friendly and upbeat. The place felt secure but not boxed in. The outside spaces and gardens were lovely. The place was spotlessly clean.
