I do not think there is anything for them to improve on and we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

My sister has been staying at Sunrise of Johns Creek on their road home program, which is temporary respite care. [name removed]is very comfortable there and feels safe and that means the world to us. Sunrise of Jones Creek is a beautiful community and the grounds are meticulous and so beautiful. [name removed]wants to go home but is not able to return yet because she has many stairs in her house. If she can afford it, I hope that she can stay there long-term.

The staff are friendly and we are hopefully the new management can make improvements

If you can afford it and elder needs little to no care (independent living) it may be worth looking at. They were the nicest for the least amount of money at the time and had the largest room (she wanted separate rooms I.e. 1bedroom)

The price is affordable and the amenities are appreciated such as a residential business that takes folks shopping and doctor appts . Plus , of one uses the house linens ,they will launder those items at no additional charge. Unfortunately, I feel the needs of a not so independent person will not be met at this facility. The resident of whom I refer is not terribly old but is lazy , defiant and has early dementia. She needs around the clock supervision and help with her medications . The Regency House offers some assistance à la carte which we can't afford when all the resident requires is added up monetarily. I'm now searching for a nursing home with nurses and staff that deal with incontinent , sleep all day type residents such as the one I make reference.

Housekeeping is great, and meal service is wonderful. This is a nice place.

General Manager- doesn't always tell the truth, says she will do things she doesn't do, seems impersonal. Staff lacks training and some seem not too bright; chef(cook) doesn't always prepare meals appropriate for the south, too many carbs, and needs to go to culinary school. I think prices are going up AGAIN.

Everyone is friendly and always offer to help and are willing to chat whenever needed. Again, because of the turnover in the management it is difficult to know about changes and such. Everyone is happy with the food and servers as well as main staff. It's the unknown that concerns us. We know nothing about the new company, QSL and what their plans are. Fear of the unknown is everyone's concern. Overall. The setting is beautiful and the community is fairly small which I really like. It really is a nice place to live. Nothing is perfect.

Cleanliness is average. They have great staff. Quality of care is above average. The food is very good. The activities keep me busy every day. The value for cost is average.

Staff are caring, respectful, helpful, and friendly. The food is good, but not worth the price for a guest. The menu is rarely accurate. If I call and leave a particular staff member a message. I would say I get a response back 20% of the time. You have to keep calling back or find another way to connect with that staff member and even that can be difficult. Rarely do all the activities on the calendar happen. They are probably more expensive than they need to be. Sunrise could use some improvements to make it better, but I think we are really lucky to have found this facility. My priorities are theirs and that is the most important thing!

I had a hard time in the beginning but as time went on it improved a lot. The only reason I moved was money. I would go back there for sure. There's a family feeling there. Where I am now is about like living in my own apartment (not independent living). I would recommend Lighthouse Point for anyone. I'm more impressed now than I was when I first moved in there. The staff is very helpful they do communicate everything thoroughly. They are very kind and understanding. They make you feel welcome.

What we like the most about this community is the other residents who live there, they are all very nice. We would recommend Ashley Park by Barclay House community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

My overall experience Good. Value good. Cleanliness of facility good. Meals good cafeteria staff excellent. Quality of care ok could have been better .Nursing( Lpns )staff good, follow up by the cna's could have been better there were suppose to be every two hour check up rarely. Activities fair, she didn't attend much, she wasn't interested. We experience some racism with some of the clients when it came to eating in the cafeteria. We could not seat my aunt where she liked it was always an issue, which offend my aunt. She no longer want to eat in the dining area to keep down the drama. Issue was reported . Overall is was a pretty good experience.

I know my mom would be happier if the food was better and there were more activities. She’s been frustrated with the lack of communication, like when the WiFi password was changed but it took a while to notify the residents. It’s important to remember that that is their home. They don’t get to leave at the end of the day. They need activities in place that don’t require staff to run them, like meet and greets with ice breaker games since so many new people have moved in or game nights. Also planned events away from the facility like the zoo, afternoon teas, trips to the movies and museums. Maybe reach out to local universities for folks who are studying art therapy & ask them to volunteer time. Most colleges require volunteer hours… maybe reach out to psychology departments see if they want to pair up with a resident for occasions onsite.

I am quite satisfied with my home here. It is not overcrowded and carries a pleasant atmosphere. Management is very friendly and eager to help. It’s like one big family. Laurel Grove is a beautiful place and the grounds are quite lovely.

It's a great place. The apartment are very nice.. the food is amazing with a great variety of available throughout the day. Plenty of activities and rides provided when you need them.. the staff is always accommodating . No matter what problems arise; they are always quick to resolve them...

From my observation, they are as good or better than anyone in the industry and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families

We liked the staff especially the nurses. We liked the security and the outdoor spaces available for the residents. Too expensive for care received.

Very welcoming community and very supportive staff, however unsure if we would recommend this community to others. The cost. [fee removed] a month and [fee removed] to [fee removed] extra per month just to ensure meds are taken is extremely expensive. And even then this place is on the bottom end of pricing for this

Many changes have taken place since initially moving in. The facility is not perfect but livable. The complex is under new management again. I will have to wait to see how things will improve. Lack of reliable staff seems to be a big issue. [name removed] are the only staff that actually are doing a good job.
