Noveau Marc is a very nice clean safe place for your loved ones to live. My mom loves living there, she has made many friends and really likes [name removed], the assistant manager. She listens to the residents and does her best to help with their needs.

The community is great. The staff and residents are very welcoming, the transportation bus is extremely convenient for my dad's appointments, and the overall atmosphere is very nice when you walk in. I feel at peace knowing my dad is in a comfortable place.

My sister absolutely loves River's Edge but does not like the food. They need a real chef. She says the food makes her sick. The food can really make or break a place. I probably would not recommend them until they get a new chef.

The hallways have deteriorated some. With the meals and dining they run out of things. Changed chefs 4 times. dinners are okay sometimes. Servers are good. I base the value for cost rating on dining, elevator not working. (They have two elevators and over the past year one has been down on and off for several months). 3rd floor hallway cleanliness and air conditioning hasn't been working. After my mother being their 1 year raised rent 9%. Would still recommend. Because things always can improve and the staff is excellent. The staff can only do so much. Change has to come from corporate.

It was a nice place for my father to stay short-term. I would recommend to others.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Facility is slated for some remodeling. Activities are scheduled simultaneously so you may miss out on opportunity. Food-they have had turnover and lack experienced food preparers. Prepare a mixture of healthy and comfort foods. They try very hard but it's been challenging with staff turnovers.

I have had a hard time understanding the culture here and bringing in new ideas and expanding our lives. Basically easier and less stressful to take it comes and just adjust to the routine. Best to take what you are given and this is moderate to good care. Affordable and all the staff and administrators are just employed. Not owners. I prefer to make no further comment's regarding employees. It is average to moderate care and staff and on- site administrators.

Everyone is nice and friendly. I have met mostly all the workers. Only a couple complaints for the whole year. The room sizes and amenities offered for residents are great. I highly recommend Whealdon Estates.

So far so good. We have been in contact with them often from what is going on with my dad. But the experience has been good. Everyone has been mainly responsive, sometimes we cannot get in touch with them or have to wait a day for them to call us back.

I would give it a 3 over all compare to some other places I have lived. The staff is doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Most of the complaints would fall under management. There is no air in the bedroom just the living room.

No major complaints. The facility is clean and well kept. They keep my husband’s clothes clean. The staff is pleasant and attentive to the residents. The activities director seems to be well liked and does her best to engage everyone. I am not sure if they have activities in the afternoon and evening but think this would benefit most of the residents, especially due to sundowning. My husband has complained that the food although good is seldom hot. They have a small court yard but it has little shade and in the summer months it’s too hot thus the residents spend little time outside. It would be nice if the resident were able to spend more time outside and might help with their disposition. The biggest complaint I have is with the pharmacy they use, Guardian. They seem to be expensive and since the cost of the facility is expensive adding costly drugs makes it more expensive. Hope this helps.

I would say it was very good and come join me! We are in process of a chef change right now. That 4 could become a 5!

It is a wonderful community! Feels like home for my mom. Great place for your loved one to live.

Mostly happy. Have only one elevator that there have been problems with lately. That highlighted poor communication.

Most all apartments have been renovated and I think are nice. Housekeeping is spotty and there's been a lot of turnover in administration. I think it's pretty steady now. My father was on 3rd floor at the end of the hall. He's moved to the first floor near lobby and loves it. They're improving activities, and the food isn't bad - just not really restaurant quality. They do have multiple choices. Haywood has an app that use to communicate events with residents and family members. I like that touch. It is is phenomenally better than [facility name removed] (where dad was).

He knows it's a good place for him. He isn't always crazy about the food, but knows it is nutritious. He has a wonderful lady friend who lives there, and they are very happy. They met playing poker! Clean environment with nutritious meals. Friendly staff. I am glad my brother is pretty well satisfied there and knows it is a good fit for his needs.

The facility is nice. Mom really likes her room. She is disappointed with the new management. And is hoping it gets better soon. They have had a lot of staff turn over in the last year. And they activities person has changed at least twice. They currently have very few activities. The dining room offers 2-3 choices for meals. But often run out. My mom has strict dietary needs and if they run out of the things she can eat, she doesn't eat. ( luckily, her small kitchen in her room has food if she needs it). Overall, I think she is happy, but there are few things that bother her
