Really nice place and very affordable. We didn’t choose this place only because of level of care mom needed. Not the best for limited mobility.

I liked it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Residents friendly, seemed happy. Clean.

My sister did the tour of this community and she said that the staff did a great job, they showed her all around they took their time with the tour and answered all her questions. This was a very nice community but we felt that it was not quite the right atmosphere for our mom.

My mom seems to be doing okay and better than the other place she was at. She is a lot closer to us and within a few miles from stores and family and it is easy for her to drive to. The community is nice and everything they charge for is a la carte. They have games and cards for the residents. They go on a lot of trips, they recently went to Turkeyville. They clean her apartment and wash her laundry once a week. It has been working out better for her becoming a resident here.

In my dealings with people from any industry especially sales you very rarely come across someone who is not going to waste your time and someone who is going, to be honest with you well I found that in this community. After sitting down with the sales person and going over my friend's income the sales person was honest and said she would not be able to afford to live there. I appreciated the honesty. The community from the brief look I had appeared clean and the person I was speaking with was very nice.

Luckily my sister really likes this place even though she thinks it temporary and she will be going home. The staff and residents are extremely friendly and kind. She loves her apartment the only thing is they don't have the laundry setup in the apartment it's in a room down the hall. They only serve dinner but the food is very good. She is starting to do some activities that she can handle.

I am extremely glad we moved mom to this location. It has been so good for her. She is enjoying interacting with the residents there and joining the activities. She loves the food it's great. The staff has been so kind and friendly.

My grandmother was enjoying the experience with the community. She liked the community and it was a good pick for her.

Our mother has adjusted beautifully to moving in to her apartment at Westhaven Manor. [Removed], leasing agent, was very accommodating and addressed all concerns. All staff is very friendly. Apartment is clean and spacious. A few suggestions: brighten halls and add complimentary coffee,tea, juices/fruit to kitchen offerings throughout day.

We were very fortunate to have a social worker from the hospital to recommend this place.and it worked out. This community tends to run more on the independent living side versus a assisted living community. There is the room rate but then any extra services you would want are additional charges such as housekeeping. laundry, Activites meal plans, medical help etc. My wife has settled in nicely and is starting to make friends with the other residents and she has activities. They only serve dinner and at best is passable very standard American cuisine, not a good variety. The staff is very good very friendly

This community seems to offer some nice amenities and the people we met were nice. The community seemed well taken care of. The community we chose came recommended by another resident.

I love it here. Staff are wonderful! Fun activities and conveniences. The only reason I did not give a perfect score is because we do not have a generator for times we lose power. Many of us are not above to go elsewhere when we have no electricity – heat, oxygen generators, heat, electric wheelchairs and mobile phone need recharging to function, or we can be in a helpless situation.

The residents and staff are great! Dining could be improved (it has somewhat improved) Car parts drip a “paint like” liquid onto cars. Would be wonderful to have ceiling fan in bedroom (not at my expense). I appreciate all the activities offered. The Grand Haven bus is too small and we can’t see out of windows.

My friend seems to like the staff at The Fountains. She is happy with the food and she is starting to get involved in some of the activities. They keep the community well taken care of. The community is close to family and friends and I would recommend it.

So far everything is working out pretty well with my mother move to this community. She does have her complaints, but I do feel comfortable with her move to this community. The community is well maintained when I come to visit. They do serve well balanced meals, and there activities offered for the residents. She is doing well overall, and I would recommend this community.

We had a nice tour of this community. The community looked nice, and clean. The staff we met was very kind, and informative. Our questions were answered. My only issue was the layout of the community. I felt it would be confusing for my mother. It was a good experience, and everyone was very kind to my family, and myself.

This community is very good. My father is getting involved in activities and the meals are really good. It's clean with a positive atmosphere.He's doing well!

My brother seems to be adjusting well at The Fountains at Franklin. They have postings and a calendar to let residents know which events and activities are going on. He's not completely thrilled about the food but that I think is a personal preference. It seems to be well run and well organized. The staff is helpful and friendly. They worked with me when moving him because it was such short notice.
