It’s an independent living community, so the care services aren’t really applicable. It’s a pretty place. They are redoing it, remodeling the entire facility. The food is not five star, but it’s adequate. It’s close to home.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. Overall this place was very nice, and though it was not what we ended up selecting, I had no complaints about anything I saw. At the time we toured there were not many options for rooms, and the facility was a bit larger than I thought my loved one would be comfortable in.

I researched several places. The staff at Kensington, especially Sandy, were extremely caring , helpful and understanding. They made the transition as stress free as possible for my mother. The facility seems to have everything you could want for a parent and then some and most importantly the staff treated my mother with compassion, smiles and care.

The Residence at Greenbelt and very friendly, the Executive Director that gave my aunt and I the tour was very helpful the room that I was looking at for my mom would be perfect for her, I like the services they offer. It is a bit pricey, however my mom is worth it and it will give me a piece of mind regarding to know that she is in a place where I know she will be getting the things she needs to improve her life and have some independence.

Overall it's been a great experience! They really make an effort to make people feel comfortable when they move in, which is good since these transitions can be hard. The facility itself is great looking, it's always very clean and well kept. The staff are all very friendly and caring, and they provide all kinds of activities to keep everyone engaged and entertained. This is an older facility, and doesn't have the bells and whistles that some do, but it is still a high quality place. It's a great value as well, the apartment was both larger and less expensive than many options we looked into.

The Residence was nice. Unaffordable for my family.

I took a tour, and the staff and facility, are nice.It is pricey. I was turned off, with the Community Fee., of $3000. This is non-refundable., after a stay of several wks. This covers room preparation and getting the chart ready. This to me ,means painting, changing the linen, and mopping the floor. To me, an unnecessary expense. I expressed this, I have not heard back.

This is a beautiful and newer facility with very well-designed and spacious feeling apartments. They do not have a commercial kitchen yet but are starting construction on one. In the meantime, they bring in catered and restaurant dinners into a warm and welcoming dining room. They have a beautiful outdoor space, as well, and offer a robust selection of social events for all personality types. Arbor Terrace offers true independent living, so those who may need a bit more help may not find it a good fit. Annamarie, the Executive Director, was fabulous. She spent a great deal of time with us at the start of our visit to understand our needs and the needs of our parents. While we determined our parents were in need of true assisted living, I would not hesitate to recommend Arbor Terrace to someone who was looking only for independent living.

Overall I am pleased with SMH. The facility is beautiful and the food is great! My mother has only been there for a week, and I still don't have a clear picture of her care routine. Mother doesn't remember much about the caregivers. The head nurse is very professional, though, and I think everything will prove to be good. The fees are very reasonable and I like not being nickel and dimed as number of meds administered increases. I do wish that the activities provided more intellectual stimulation. Most, but not all, are game oriented--no discussion groups, book clubs, etc.

It was a very nice place. She didn't like it. It just didn't fit what she was looking for. It's a great setting, very green around it.

This place is generally very nice, it's well kept and the staff are friendly. One concern that I have as that the on-site nursing staff seem a little casual when it comes to keeping track of my loved one's diabetes care.

So far we're happy with this place! It seems to be working out well for Mom. It's a very clean and nice, and has activities which she has been enjoying. We wanted somewhere where she could still be independent, but that felt safe. Our only complaint is that the community was purchased shortly after we moved in, which meant we saw a price increase after only 2 weeks. We were hoping for more stability when it came to pricing.

The apartments and the grounds were lovely. The facility is clean, well appointed, and the staff are friendly and caring. We would have loved for my mother-in-law to be able to stay here, however she had a specific problem that they were unfortunately unable to care for.

I have only been to visit once. My parents are in independent living, and they provide two meals a day. They really don't do the activities, but they have some available. I am glad that they made the move there because the go down to the meals so they get to interact with other people. They have a two bedroom with a kitchenette, and the community offers assisted living in a different building.

This seemed about the same as the other two places that I saw. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the price was about the same. It seemed like a good option but they didn't have any space available at the time.

It was a very nice place, very friendly staff, they did not have the wander guard system so we ruled them out. It seemed like a good place but it did not have the security systems in place that we were looking for.

This was great too and I was hoping it would be a good one because it was close to my mothers house but it was 1000 dollars more and the rooms were nice but with what we could afford, the rooms were much smaller than what we could get somewhere else.
