This is a very nice looking facility. Everything was bright, clean and cheery. When I arrived it was just after lunch. I liked the fact that someone was on duty at the front desk and could direct me. Residents were out and about. The tour of the facility was ok. The person I met with was quite knowledgeable. My concern is there is only one person on duty at night to attend to all the patients along with an on call nurse. not sure this is sufficient enough supervision.

I like the care of this community. The staff is caring and friendly. The food is good but needs some small improvements. They have been offered activities that are available for those who want to participate. I would recommend this community for other families for good care.

The Solana Doylestown is a brand new facility & absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately we had heard some negative things about the community so we decided to go with another facility.

I have no complaints about the care my loved one has been receiving so far and am very pleased with how smooth the transition has went for her. She has had no issues with the food and has seemed to really like the different activities they have going on throughout the day. Overall everything is going great and we would recommend this community to anyone looking into retirement.

They missed my father's first admission appointment which bothered me but they are working towards getting that resolved. Other than that, the food is good and the place is clean. Once they get him to see a doctor, things will improve.

This facility did not work for mom. She was not a fit for the secure section of the facility and mom tried to elope every evening she was there. Had to bring mom home. 12/2016

We had a good experience for my loved one until an incident. It was not bad but lead to the need for a different community. The meals, activities, and understanding from the staff were all good for us.

We are impressed. Even tho it is an IL facility, AL services are provided by a live-in aide if we get a 2 BR apt. Since it's not an AL facility. Some of tge regulations are less strict. For example, I can sort the meds and the aide can administer it to Mom. This saves us $600/mo. Mary showed us a larger 2BR that was disconnected since it overlooks a dumpster and parking lot. R They put special,window treatments which blocj the view of the dumpster and only show tree toos. 2 baths & a washer/dryer in the apt. Make it very luxurious. Rent asked in $4,800. Niw we're waiting to hear from the home health agencies to get pricingbfor the live-In aide. Mom did not pass her assessment at Sunrise Edgewater, however, the RN in FL says cruteria may be different in NJ than in Fla. Arbor Terrace apt. Is triple the size of the Sunrise apt. and is less depressingbthan an ALF only resident. They have aging in place. So, right now, this is on the top of our list, pending reasonable rates from the home health agency.

The people here were nice. I did not get to physically go inside however, got to speak with someone. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the community. She answered all of my concerns and questions. Again it was just way to expensive.

We are satisfied with this community. Mom seems to be doing well and enjoying herself. They could do a better job with the activities that they provide for her. She seems to like the food and she has never complained about it. We liked it here because it was close to us so that we could visit mom more.

The staff was all very kind to my parents and I during our tour of this community. They made sure to give us lots of great information and answer any questions we had for them in detail. The only issue I had was how small the rooms where, my mom really wanted to bring her own dinning room table and it would have not fit in the apartments they had.

We looked here, but were disappointed in how small the two bedroom apartment is. Also, the limitations on cable service were a show stopper.

My uncle is in the memory care unit of this community and the staff are good as most of them know us on a first name basis. They offer daily activities , however they seemed geared more towards women. The food is better in the main dining room. I think the food is not as fresh in the memory care unit since they all eat at a specific time. They are willing to work with you on any concerns you may have. They want to make sure everyone is happy and I would recommend this community.

The Arbor Terrance is a good community. The staff, for the most part, is friendly and welcoming. The community is kept clean and the room my loved one and I are in is comfortable. The only concern I have so far is my loved one has a special request for his meal time that is important for his health and it took them weeks before they could accommodate to that need. Overall, I would recommend the community to a friend.

Everything is working out pretty well. My mother in law is doing pretty well here at this community. We are pleased with her move to this community. She is safe and being cared for well.

My mom is getting very caring and very interactive care from the staff. In the beginning the food was good but now my siblings tell me it is not a good as they thought. My mom is being social and participates with activities like morning exercising, painting class, and bingo.

So far so good. My MIL has only been at The Harbor 1 week. She loves it. She came from an independant senior apartment and she is loving the extra care. My only complaint is I feel they need to hire at least one more person to help in the dining area. It takes quiet a while for our food orders to be taken and for the food to arrive at the table. Kitchen seems short staffed at the 3 dinnerswe have spent with her. Overall seems like a nice place.

My loved one and I really enjoyed our tour of this community, there was a lot of great amenities and beautiful scenery surrounding the building. The staff made sure to answer any questions in detail that my loved one and I had for them. I have no complaints about our experience and would recommend this place.

I contacted A Place for Mom (APFM) to assist my brother and myself in locating a place for our brother living in Ft. Lauderdale. We were seeking a place that he liked, not just what we liked. Ironically, my brother and I were happy he chose the one we silently hoped he would select. We visited five communities. They were all worthy. For our brother, Palm Aire was easy to navigate from his first floor spacious apartment. A screened in porch accommodated his love of plants. He can also garden outside in a dedicated community spot. The dining room felt like a cozy inviting restaurant. The menu surprised us by including vegetarian dishes. Great food in a comforting space. My brother liked the layout and smaller scale since he could be alone if he wanted, or join other residents. We appreciated Palm Aire's easy to navigate, well maintained setting and buildings, that were naturally blended in the landscape. It did not have a "facility" feel that I sensed with some places we toured. We felt fortunate to work with Palm Aire's Senior Lifestyle Counselor, Cyndi [Removed]. Cyndi was always available to us, even though we lived on the west coast. Her attention to detail, follow up, and follow through approach was a huge benefit given the long distance. Lastly, our brother's need for independent living today with possible assisted living in the future made Palm Aire an even better fit. We heartily recommend them. I also want to give a huge shout out for the assistance received at APFM. Their generosity of time and information, along with recommending the 5 places we visited was priceless. My independent research had me in overwhelm. They were able to narrow the choices by interviewing me. Start with APFM and you won't be disappointed. We are so grateful to everyone that helped us mount a serious task from a long distance to find the best home for our brother.

My mother complains that she can't get a man Jong game. Also activities don't happen as scheduled. The food is good but service is slow.
