Our family really likes the location, the quaintness and cleanliness of The Sheridan community. We also like the smaller scale of the community our loved one seems to be getting that proper care. Only negative would be with the food, it is not as good as it could be so they could definitely improve on the overall quality but based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families.

I'm very satisfied with Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel for my husbands care. Was a year in April that he became a resident. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the residents from my observations.

It is a nice community. The highlight of the community would be the lower level staffing, everyone that worked for the Director of Nursing was fantastic. It would have been nice to have a check in list to make sure that everything was covered for care and acclimating my loved ones to the community. The laundry, changing of linens, housekeeping, apartment, all the meals, and utilities were covered in the monthly fee. They did a fantastic job at housekeeping and laundry. The care regimen could have been better communicated to the residents and the family. My loved ones weren't told how to sign up for assistance, or how to gain assistance. Once the staff saw that my loved ones needed assistance they were great at completing the task.

I would be prepared to bring a lot of patients and to be ready to cope with a lot of difficulties. A lot of the residents are in wheel chairs or walker and it is hard sometimes to try to help the other residents when they approach you. That is the one thing that I would be prepared for. The staff are very good and they try really hard to help. They are doing the best job that they can, the kitchen and dinning area however, are having some issues. It is taking a while to take the orders and the food and it just takes too long to get a meal.

[name removed] in engagement is very attentive and always goes the extra mile to make people happy. she's not all talk, she is action! I have lived her for 18 months and this is my home for life.

Nurses are very attentive and I'm always invited to activities all the time. Costs are a bit high however.

Arbor Terrace was very nice. This actually was our runner up facility, but they did not have any availability. The only downfall was the location is not the best, nothing is within walking distance so I thought that my dad might feel trapped. There was a park across the street but it was under construction.

We had a really great tour experience with Arbor Terrace and liked what we saw and what they offered. For us, it just came down to the location.

The people are very very friendly and have been phenomenal. The building is brand new and gorgeous. My loved one has been very happy with the food and loves her room. This a place where my loved one has been happy to move when she had to leave her home of 50 years.

We went with Barrington Terrace mostly because of the people, they were very open and honest and she felt comfortable from the get go. The location helped too because it was not far from where she living before. There are a lot of activities provided, but she is mostly interested in playing bingo and she enjoys it. She loves her apartment and the staff does a great job at checking in with her, they will even check in at 3AM just to make sure things are good. Maintenance is great, if there are any problems they are there within 30 minutes. Everything has been great and I would definitely recommend to others.

My husband is a resident here. The place has growing pains but the executive director is top notch and addresses all concerns immediately. The medical staff is mostly very professional and does wonderful job. So does the girls who shower and dress my husband. The place is immaculate and the girls at the front desk when you enter are great.

The community had family feel to it and the family liked the community. My loved on choose another community.

Our family had an in person tour and we felt it was more like a hotel experience. Our loved one being on the state she is with memory loss we thought it would be overwhelming, we feel like this would be good for independent and assisted living residents.

It was a very favorable experience. It's a very good facility that I rate very highly. I had a nice view from my room. The elevators were efficient, and I appreciated the general cleanliness of the facility.

Very nice community. The furniture was required to come with my loved one. There was not as much outdoor space as we wanted.

I would tell others looking that Arbor Terrace Lakeway is a warm and friendly facility. My mom is settling in well and the staff members all know her by name.

The staff is excellent and will always find the answers to your questions. They come running when they press their button and they are very accommodating. I think it is a good facility and I trust them with my parents. I would recommend to others looking.
