I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is on a nice piece of property. They had nice activities. The staff overall was very nice to the residents and families. There was a variety of selections for the residents to choose from, and there were three meals a day served.

It's a beautiful place with caring people. The aides in assisted living are wonderful. There's a little bit of difficulty with coordination with your private doctor for medications and medical decisions. But the staff have been responsive when I come to them with concerns, and I think things are improving.

This community has an excellent activities program. Their staff encourages us to participate in these programs which includes physical and mental awareness, and a variety of activities and card games. They are always helpful and with a smile. The food is also good (could be hotter). Our staff makes a great team, and I hope when you hire new employees that they would me a great team even better.

We liked the facility, apartments and activities. We would like to come back on another day as we didn’t get to see any “independent” people around. We’d like to have my mother try the food and also see how she interacts with the independent people. We are concerned about the pricing.

They communicate well with the person responsible for the resident - in our case, me. I think the care is very good, and the staff work well together as a team. My mom loves the food. The facility is good. I spent a great deal of time touring communities, and after doing that, I feel we made the right choice. It has been a good fit for her.

I liked the community. There is a bistro, and cotemporary décor with clean lines. There were several activities that were held on the 2nd floor to allow mingling of the residents. The elevators were prompt. The community was clean.

Our tour at Arbor Terrace was pretty good. It's an older facility, so the rooms were a bit dull and small and needed to be updated. But the staff seemed to be fabulous. They were in the process of updating their memory care to be more progressive by adding in what they called the Bridges program. That hadn’t gotten off the ground yet, so at the time it wasn't the best fit for my loved one's needs.

Our family really likes the location, the quaintness and cleanliness of The Sheridan community. We also like the smaller scale of the community our loved one seems to be getting that proper care. Only negative would be with the food, it is not as good as it could be so they could definitely improve on the overall quality but based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families.
