My aunt moved into the Residences after two years of declining health, short hospital stays and months in nursing homes. While the decision to sell her home and move was emotionally draining and physically exhaustive, it was the right choice. We looked at home type facilities,too. While she would have preferred to remain in DC, she chose the Residences based on the warmth of the staff and the overall feeling in the facility. During our initial visit, many of the residents greeted her with interest and without hesitation told us of their experiences living there. She felt welcomed,open to making some new friends and enjoying a new home. She's had some ups and downs, voiced some concerns but is adjusting and enjoying her new room and her suite-mate. It was clearly the right choice.

Our loved one chose this community because it met all his requirements. I really like that the community is secure and you need to have a key to get into the building. It does expensive for what they offer but I’m pleased with The Vantage.

The Apt is wonderful! The aids are helpful although could be more hands on. Activities and food is average. The washer and dryer need to be updated.

Visiting the community was a very pleasant experience. The environment was warm and inviting and many residents appeared to be enjoying their time. There were a variety of activities taking place, which contributed to the positive atmosphere. The staff were friendly, welcoming, hospitable and engaged.

Like - care, cleanliness and food. Dislike - cost went way up after takeover by The Arbors. My mom's costs went up by 16% in just 6 months. She is now paying [Amount Removed] more PER MONTH for a comparable assisted living on Long Island in NY. Also, the company was not transparent in their delivery of the information about the increases.

The daily activities which almost all participated. I have recommended to others already.

I have included "Transportation" in "Activities". Very frustrated with the Transportation. Make sure you get details about the Transportation. How many cars they have and the schedule. Chef who was there when we moved in left shortly after. Quality/Variety of the food and the service have suffered.

Overall, it's very good. Dining room service is a problem. Very extremely slow. That's the only complaint. The staff is knowledgeable. The aids are great. The time that he presses the button for someone to come less than five minutes. Laundry is done good he takes a shower with two people helping him. The Supervisors call me back within 24 hours if not sooner.

The staff is very friendly and the facility is lovely.

Price was reasonable. Food was very good. Personnel were very helpful. Residents were quite friendly. Daily care was appreciated. Clinic care was helpful. Parking was sufficient. Signin/signout was easy.

As a resident you get 2 meals included in your rent, free weekly maid svs, and courtesy maintenance help, if needed, for anything inside your unit. They even hang pictures. Preserve also has an area of Villa's aside from apts. I live in Villa. Happy there. Short walking distance to main bldg.

Very pleasant tour. Facility is one of 3 in the running for our family member. Additional costs for dining with our family member came as a surprise as those costs were included in the other facilities we toured.

The place is beautiful and comfortable and inviting. the activities are fair for the assisted living residents . The meals seemed to be fine. I was hoping for more consistent support being in an assisted living than there seems to be but overall it's a very nice place. The people are very nice but it doesn't seem like they really go above and beyond.

it's a lot to take in.... 90 minutes friendly care for specific needs residents appear happy beautiful decor fun activities bus rides... shopping. tours. treats. sight seeing hair salon games entertainment

What we like the most about the community is that my mom is happy there, she enjoys the dining room, playing bingo and the bistro where she does puzzles with the grand kids. Yes, I would recommend the community to others

The facility is very nice and the staff are welcoming and supportive. I would recommend to others. Location is convenient and close to many stores and restaurants.

Arbor Terrace offers numerous opportunities for resident engagement. The staff is very attentive. Meal time offers another opportunity for socialization and the food (by menu) is wonderful. We are in a shred room - each have a bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen is shared. My mom is thriving there.

The friendliness of the residents. The staff who are so caring and welcoming. They let me have my dog anywhere in the community (except dining room of course) and they and residents adore him which he returns. The setting being next to the Teaneck Nature Conservancy.

We have had some issues. There are some great caregivers and a few not so great however we have been pleased with how Eden terrace has worked with us to resolve any issues. I suggest they be as informed as possible- how the level of care is determined, the food, the quality of caregivers (especially weekend caregivers). Cost isn't everything. I recommend Eden terrace however I also suggest [community removed] be given consideration.

Overall, the experience with the Arbor Terrace has been positive. We selected this location because of Bridges program and proximity to our house. The facilities are well maintained and staff is friendly.
