We cannot rate the care services as well as the activities because our loved one is in independent living and does not participate in any activities. What I like the most is the accessibility and attentiveness of the staff. Also, the common areas are nicely decorated and well maintained. Yes, we would wholeheartedly recommend The Preserve at Palm-Aire to other families.

Check it out and visit I recommend. They could have more activities , but it's clean. Food is good. People are mellow. We have a fair price for this year as well.

It is a reasonably new facility and the staff could not be more welcoming and kind to our mother and family. While we are less familiar with the services for the residents who may be less mobile given our mother is still fairly independent, she has been able to avail herself of the many conveniences offered such as laundry and housekeeping, a wide variety of recreational activities on and off site, and full dining services. The location is also very close to a wide option of shopping, supermarkets, and restaurants. We cannot overstate the importance for us that our mother has been able to enjoy her independence while also benefitting from the daily interaction and regular assistance as needed from the staff. I would certainly encourage anyone in the market for these services, either for themselves or a lived one, to visit.

The facility is nice and people are very friendly. Food is good and place is very clean. Rather expensive but I feel comfortable and at peace with having my loved one here. [name removed]and [name removed] are wonderful. They bring all the details together and are super responsive.

It is a beautiful well cared for place. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are a nice size big enough. The activities were very good. The food was adequate not great.

They are all incredibly friendly. Helpful and personable. They he place is the best in the area. The studio is on the small side. But since mom can't move much it's fine. The other rooms are good size. Amenities are great. It's a really nice place. Big and not sterile like all the other places seem.

In general, the facility is bright and clean. Nice location. The staff is mostly very friendly and accommodating, generally looking out for the care and best interests of the residents. The nursing staff is adequate but can be slow to react when issues arise or changes are noted in a resident's health or demeanor. A couple of other observations...They are quick to adjust care levels (and costs) when temporary issues arise that require additional monitoring, but slow to reevaluate when those requirements are no longer needed. Seems like many of the activities are geared more toward women (shopping, crafts, etc.). Could use more that men would have interest in such as card games or sports nights...

I find the staff extremely helpful and responsive. The caregivers are really caring and kind. My mom is in a studio, small but ample. There are several levels of care.

A bit too much sugar in the diet, especially for those with borderline diabetes. Staff not alerting family when increased edema in extremities. Beside these, staff have been excellent, kind, clean and caring. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far

My mother in law was an amazing cook and worked in food service, so maybe she's more critical than the average resident. She had an aide that she adored, but for some reason she was reassigned -and she's not as enamored with some of her new aides. Residents need to really speak up when they need something and Mom does not because she's afraid that they'll label her troublesome. It's crazy expensive considering that Mom really doesn't need much one on one care (yet).

Everything was near perfect. My mother had an issue with understanding the staff. My mother was hard of hearing. Most staffers were happy but spoke fast and with an accent. She complained she could not understand most of her helper and it really frustrated her. We are upstate New Yorkers and haven't had much experience interacting with other nationalities

I have had numerous issues with an administrative staff member including, lack of response after contacting her multiple times, lack of follow through on requested tasks and a rude attitude. This is the 2nd most expensive community in this area. [facility removed] is the most expensive. Arbor Terrace is a very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean community. My family member enjoys the activities they offer and has commented that the food is very good. I also think there are many opportunities to socialize which is important. The move in process was good and the staff was helpful in terms of setting up the room for my family member. I think given the price, I should not have to call/email the admin person 6 times without a return call. I like the caregivers very much and do feel they do a good job. I also really like the maintenance team.

Cleanliness=timely cleaning of floors Food=better preparation, better variety,better,wait staff,and timely service for telephone orders. There is a wide range of activities to chose from.

Overall, she is very happy there, she really likes the staff and the people. The only thing she thinks can be a bit better is the food because it's not consistently what she would consider to be above average. Do know, though, that my mom is very picky, lol. Saying that, the fact that she is so happy there with almost everything does say how nice the place is.

We have since moved Mom from this facility about a year ago. Numerous items were stolen from her room, and one of the staff members was extremely rude to our family. The food is not the best quality, but it was adequate. The apartments are enormous value for the money, best price around for sure. This was a great placement for my mother at first, but slowly the quality of this place declined. I would still highly recommend for someone who is on a tight budget, and able to still cook for themselves so that when the daily menu doesn't suit, they may cook an alternative meal in the great kitchens.

What we like the most about ArborTerrace is the convenience, the size, the friendliness, and the management participation and overall care. It is a family atmosphere.

Nice place, always clean. Nice outside areas to relax and private outside area in memory care. Activities throughout the day in memory care and personal care. Pet therapy and music therapy. Happy hour on Thursdays with live music in the lobby. Staff is very friendly. As with any facility, some aides go above and beyond and treat your loved one like their own. Others are not as passionate about their work. And that’s why I gave 4.5 stars instead of 5.

The staff is excellent and that is what matters most. They really care and know the residence. I am very happy with the move. Be careful and verify facts before committing. Sales is sometimes “salesy” and we were told a few things prior to moving in that turned out to be inaccurate but still glad we moved mom in. All in all very happy!!

It was mostly positive. Very clean, well run and maintained facility. If the care attendants could have been better it would have been a 5 overall.
