Note that my Mom was only there for a short time before she passed. The staff was good - getting into a schedule that met my Mom's need took a little time. Adjustment for my Mom was difficult, as she was living with my Sister up until that point, and had 24x7 support of family. It was difficult for my Mom to use the food/dining, as she was in significant pain while in a wheelchair. At the time we place our Mom at Arbor Terrace, she only watched TV, and was not mobile enough to do much else. When we brought in Hospice, the interaction between Hospice and Arbor Terrace was very good. The room was nice and provided plenty of room for visits.

The staff is very friendly, they really care for the residents. There has been some turnover and fluctuation in the dining but I think they are working that out. Activities I think are great my mom does fitness classes, she goes on trips a lot, joined the gardening club. Staff and activities would be 5 on scale. Food and dining has its days and can be improved but staff is trying and friendly

When she first moved in, I thought the staff was very caring and attentive, but as time went on and I went to see her a few months later, several of the employees had left and the new ones didn't seem so attentive. The meals weren't as good either. But I live in PA and did not get to GA very often. She has since moved to another facility to be near her step daughter. [name removed] and the step daughter feel that the new facility is much better.

Medication management(referring to who orders when supply is low) is/was confusing. I would recommend to others.

Great place, good service but expensive and they raise prices every September so be prepared to pay, outstanding food. It depends on one's needs for care so it is a tiered pricing schedule. only negative is the price

It's nice enough. But I'm not exactly happy here. I know I'm the same physical age of many residents here. But in other ways I'm much younger So it has been frustrating for me. The meals are just so so with chicken served almost every day. I'm really over that so I prepare my meals myself in my apt. most of the time. They're charging me an extra $[fee removed] because I do not eat breakfast food much and switched to lunch instead. $[fee removed]!!!!

Friendly staff and accommodating. Food could be improved. Laundry facility is dated on assisted living side and needs to be upgraded ASAP. Activities are good and staff morale is high with assistance on that front.

Arbor Terrace has an amazing administrative staff and great facilities. The nursing staff is a little short-staffed resulting in slower care but the quality of care is great. Food options are great which was a huge plus for my mom. For the price, arbor terrace provides mom with exactly what she needs.

A number of her care folks were very nice and attentive to her and there were a couple with bad attitudes. They increased her level of care but I got the run around on why and what was the increase in care for the additional cost. Asked for a breakdown and never got it. The receptionist [name removed] was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They were quick to send mom to the ER and in some cases not warranted. Place was clean however I had to remind them to clean the bathroom due to my mom couldn't see when there was fecal matter on surfaces. With all this said I would recommend Arbor Terrace to others.

Before you sign the contract, make sure you understand that the date you sign the contract is the date of financial responsibility. Other than that, it is fine

The staff at Arbor Terrace is wonderful!

The staff is very friendly. And they do a good job looking after my mother. She is very happy with the staff, especially for the folks in the physical therapy center.

The facilities are very nice, the staff is doing their best but more care takers are needed per floor, the very friendly and concerned executive director suddenly left and the quality has diminished.

Be present. Work with the staff and communication your family members needs/requirements. Know your family members abilities and health needs, likes and dislikes.

Generally quite clean. Excellent ability to communicate with leadership at any hour. most staff were wonderful. Food was subpar to be honest but wasn't a real priority for us. Activities were fine. 3-11 staff were not as engaging or kind as 7-3 staff

I'll start with the facility, which is what attracted me in the first place. I was attracted to: The facility's setting - Serene, quiet, surrounded by Nature, Away from traffic and its pollution, flowers, well kept grounds, ability to sit outside (or not) and get fresh air. Also, the layout of the common rooms (their functions and activities) makes it easy to find and use (No getting lost here. The staff all do the job that is required of them. But, as in all settings, you tend to favor some more than others. I tend to avoid people that appear to be probing. On the other hand I understand that the organization needs to better understand the people that they're servicing. So that's a fine line for me. But generally speaking, the staff is courteous and helpful. This reminds me that I need to highlight a few employees that have done (or do) exemplary work, having to do with repairs, etc.

The engagement staff were phenomenal. The rooms were great, and the meal were average.

Staff is courteous, helpful when needed. Food, small portions...takes a little too long to be served. Plenty of activities to join in .. Older community but good maintenance. Residents friendly. Median age - 83

FYI he is still completely self sufficient so not a lot if needs yet. He just likes it there... likes the activities and the happy hour/music/wine with dinner lol. Yes, we would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.
