The Arbor Company

We recently placed both my mother and father in Arbor Terrace in Peachtree CIty Georgia. This was done after a long search with help from A Place for Mom. I am pleased to say that all the children are very pleased with Arbor Terrace. This is the only place we all felt like it was the right place for our parents. Excellent staff, accomodations, activities and food service. We would not have found this place without help from A Place for Mom.

Wow. Brand new facility so very inviting. However, even more important is the care I saw toward the residents when I visited. The avoidance of a fall could not have been staved. Rates very reasonable. Absolutely no weird odors. Chef onsite to cook meals 3choices and if that's not good he will specially make something.

The staff and the services are great. We feel very comfortable with Mom staying here, and she really likes it !Everything on one floor is wonderful.

Barrington Terrace has been everything we could ask for in providing compassionate care for my Father who is 94 years old.

Beautiful rooms with tall ceilings, good views, great dining room, friendly staff. Our mom has been treated like Mrs. America since she moved in May 2015. The staff has been so kind and attentive not only to her, but also to all our extended family when we visit. Mom is involved in a variety of activities every day that keep her active and stimulated. Her desire to feel useful is honored daily by allowing her to help with projects for the homeless and helping arrange flowers for the dining room. She feels comfortable and says she has no worries!

Mom has only been there at Barrington Terrace of Ft. Myersc for a couple of months, but so far they have done a really good job. They keep her active and involved. The last assisted living place she was in she slept a lot more during the day. Here she seems very alert and talking more than what she was before. They are doing a great job! The inner court they have there is lovely. Mom has enjoyed being able to get outside more. They are keeping up on her medication. The food is pretty good. I really haven't had any problem there at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They really do a great job!

The Gardens has met my expectations, and then some. My dad, who has Alzheimer's, is currently living in assisted living and doing very well. I know as the disease progresses he has 2 other areas within the facility he can transition in to but it's not a large facility which I like. I almost didn't go with The Gardens because they don't have Skilled care, but decided it's more important he be in a place he'd be comfortable with, enjoy and thrive in until a higher level of care is needed. I figure by the time he reaches the Skilled level he won't care too much about WHERE he lives! The Garden's staff and administration are awesome! Everyone truly seems to enjoy their jobs...even the staff that works the floor. The other factor that influenced my decision is how well trained the staff is in dementia care. The Gardens uses the care model taught by Teepa Snow (renowned dementia educator) and each employee receives the training (even the maintenance man) which makes a huge difference! They may be a bit more expensive but it's worth every dime. My dad couldn't be happier, and I sure sleep better at night knowing he is in such a great facility and being taken care of by dementia trained professionals, who do their jobs well...and LOVE what they do!!

My family and I liked everything and my Mom liked it best of all. She signed up the same day that she saw the facility. Everything and everyone was very impressive. The best part was that my Mom did not even think she was ready to make the transition until she visited The Solana. We knew she was needing the make the move. She moves in, in a couple of weeks.

They are doing a very good job. My loved one is well placed. The staff is friendly, and the community is clean. They get a five in every category in my book. I don't have any complaints or concerns at this time at all.

I came to the community from another one across the bridge. My biggest concern was food, and their food is the best. There is a lot to do, and lots of nice people. They were very helpful and let me and my family visit a lot before I made the big choice to change communities. It was a good transition and they made it nice and easy.

The staff at Barrington is superior in expertise, friendliness and availability. My husband suffered a fall and two nurses were there before I could call for help. They diagnosed quickly and thoroughly and followed up later with inquiries. Couldn't ask for more. The staff seems to really like their jobs and they notice things out of order -- such as when a resident forgets and leaves a walker behind. Activities are varied and you can generally find one that will fit your interests during the day. Highly recommended. Mary Everett

The Most beautiful option physically. The community is well maintained. The staff down to the very last maid, driver, caretaker is very pleasant, happy and attentive. Constant interaction with the residence. They provide a lot of activities such as cards, dominoes and anything else they would like to do. The food is better than average. They have a dedicated bus for the community for shopping or other outings

My Grandmother moved from another facility to The Residences at Greenbelt and she says that the difference between the two is like night and day. Although she misses her own home, she says that she loves this facility.

Everyone here has gone out of their way to be helpful and friendly! Beautiful facility and well-run. My father-in-law is very happy here.

We don't have any experience with other communities to compare it to, but I think they do a great job at The Preserve at Palm Aire, it seems like a very nice place! It is a well kept, clean community, and everyone seems very friendly. The dining room is attractive, and the food they serve is very good! There always seems to be all sorts of activities, trips, and events going on. My loved one really seems to be enjoying himself here!

Our first impressions with Arbor Terrace Peachtree City has been excellent. My parents have only been there about a week, but so far it has been a great experience. One thing that really stood out is how super nice and friendly everyone there was. Any time any of us had any questions, everyone went out of their way to answer it or to find the answer for us. It has really been exceptional service.

We are really happy with them. They are much more cost effective than the last place we were. They are very accommodating, and friendly. And they are just as nice as the more expensive place was.

We are very happy with them, they do a great job. I haven't heard any complaints about the food, in fact when she first arrived they made lemon bars because they are her favorite. I think everything worked out the way we hoped it would. They are very attentive, and it's very clean, she gets very good care there. I liked the overall atmosphere, and they were the only place that had an intermediary memory care area. They worked with us on getting a room. The CNA's are awesome. The facility is in a great location for our family to visit also, it's just an ideal situation.

The facility is beautiful, and the staff is wonderful.

It is going great so far. I don't have any concerns at this time. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. The care is good, everything is working out very well.
