Nice place but it was more business like upon entering. We really felt like the corporate sell was given to us. Everyone seemed nice but it felt like a busy hotel with no real connection. Nothing really bad there, just not the right fit for us.

I was not very impressed with this community at all. They seemed to have a weird feel throughout the building and I did not get a comfortable feeling during my visit. They also had outrageous community fees and rates for there packages. I just did not think the expense matched the amenities that they had to offer.

My husband and I had a good tour of this community. Everything went well, and everyone was kind. The community looked nice, and well-kept. The staff was friendly, and nice. It was a good experience, but I didn't feel they would be able to accommodate my husbands needs the best.

I felt like they were trying to get rid of my loved one while he stayed here. This is a memory care community and although the staff tried I do not think they were prepared to care for his needs. They wanted me to provide a full time caregiver for him to stay there. The community was clean and they did offer activities, however I am not sure how much they encouraged him to participate. He seemed to decline during his short stay at this community.

I would probably not recommend the Madison Meadows to anyone because you get so little for the price. The place is nice and they serve 3 meals a day but it is very crowded. The studio apartments were very small and it was not what we were looking for.

I actually promote the Carriage house to others. However, I do have concerns that there is no manager on duty at night or weekend. Our concierge is exceptional, but when she is not here there is no one to attend to visitors, answer the phone, help residents, etc. I'm glad to see that an assistant manager has been hired. We needed that extra staff member.

Clean but showing signs of age. Evidence of rust and water damage. No 24 hr security. Staff assistance not available 24/7. Does not offer easy transition to assisted living and memory care.

The staff that we toured with seemed happy. The rest of the staff seemed stressed. During the tour I notice some of the residents sitting around not engaged and they did not seem happy. The community seemed clean.

My dad says the people are friendly. The place is clean. He likes the food. He really needs more social contact. Several of the activities have been canceled. Many activities are just up to other seniors. Days he gets to play cards he is happy. When there are not activities he wants to leave. He loves to hike, walk, play cards , he is very fit physically with short term memory issues.

The staff I met during my tour were nice. This is a clean older community that I think could use some updating. Everything was fine with this community. This community does allow pets.

The prices are pretty good here, but you must arrange for any care yourself. The building is 30 years old and is showing wear. It would be helpful to have a full upgrade.

This place seemed to be in transition. Most people we met working there were new. The apartments although older were spacious. Jennifer was very pleasant the residents sweet but the food was so very awful. The price was affordable

Our experience with Dunwoody Pines has been somewhat mixed. In terms of the apartment and facility itself everything is fine. The apartment is a nice size and the place is generally very clean. However, they're going through a change in management and it has made some things difficult. There are still a few things we were promised while signing up that haven't been delivered on, and getting in touch with anyone to get these issues corrected has been difficult. They also really need to work on their dining service. The food is good, but the service is glacial.

It looks like a converted Embassy Suites complete with koi pond. Ed assured me it was built by the same architect as a senior living facility. For my privacy-loving Mom having the living room windows facing the interior is a non-starter. If this isnt a concern the apartments are roomy with a full kitchen. Laundry facilities are located on each floor. Note that there is construction going on behind and next to the facility right now.

The reason I had moved to Quail Lodge was because of the security and as far as that goes it is good. I do feel very safe here. The food there is atrocious though. Very unhealthy; high salt and high fat. The thing that bothers me is that it is in my contract to have to pay for it even though I buy my own food.

Dunwoody pines is a great place to live. There are always activities you can do, the other residents are pretty friendly. The only problem that I would speak of is that it's not such great of a place to work. Residents would hear the employees as their complaints grown. But the main issue with the employment would be a particular manger that began working here earlier this year. He's always the antagonist and causing problems for the employees. I don't know about you but I love living in this community it would be a bonus if the employees loved working here as well.

This assisted living place is brand new and the faculty itself is beautiful! Very modern! But because it is so brand new there isn't any beautiful gardens or landscaping or trees. Seemed very barren on the outside. It was very quiet and not too much activity going on. It was a little depressing due to the fact that you didn't see people out and about. We arrived at about 1:00pm and had hoped to see people in the dining area but there was no one there. They offer many nursing services though and may be a good place for someone who requires a lot of assistance. The apartments are beautiful and modern. But no balconies or patios. Nothing pretty to look at outside.

I do not think there is anything to improve on. It is an old property, the buildings are old. When it rains, some of the water runs under the doors into the unit, and i'm not sure what you could do about that. I moved in there for a while and my apartment did flood. I enjoyed my time there very much though. Everybody was friendly and helpful. They have a lot of things that are helpful to the people who live there.

Did not really meet our requirements for independent living with particular issues being lack of full kitchen in apartments and a shortage of parking for residents or guests (barely grabbed the one open parking space when we visited on a weekday afternoon). Rooms had a bit more of a hotel feel to me. Of the locations I have visited, this one did have the nicest outdoor grounds.
