In the beginning it was very well and the staff were all really nice and friendly, I would rate them 4.5 in the beginning. I haven't seen the new staff but since the change my dad has been seeing a price increase monthly. Meals and activities are provided. They also go on Retirement Field Trips often. It is a clean community which includes my dad's room getting cleaned and a safe place for my dad.

The community is pretty clean and they staff do a good job keeping it clean. We have activities available to try out and that is okay. I eat from the community and the meals taste good but the staff are pretty slow, it takes too long to get my meals. I have no problems overall and it is going good for me.

Long Term Care Insurance does not help pay for Garden Way. If you are an older person looking for a great place to spend retirement years, Garden Way is Great! The staff at Garden Way did great job selling us on the place (an easy sell) but when Mom arrived, it was too loud, overwhelming size and we needed to relocate her within a week. She needed more care than was available at Garden Way. Learn from our mistake!

Madison Meadows is a great choice for senoirs. The staff is outstanding & really show a genuine concern for the residences. Even though it's off a main street it is not a concern. The property is set back far enough & they have security on duty every time I've been there. The food is pretty good & they will make a concession if you are sick, they will bring food to your room. Residence will have plenty to do if they like to be social. Granted the studios are very small I think the point is for it to be as affordable as possible.

A very nice senior living facility. It is very clean and the administrative staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother has been there for just a few months and her apartment is quite nice. The food is very good and the activities program is okay. I recommend Hammond Glen to Seniors that are totally Independent.

The Clairmont was a very pleasant living experience for our loved one. The staff was courteous, professional and helpful at all times.

They don't even have a little cook stove in the units. You really have to want everything done for you. You have to go downstairs if you want anything in a freezer. You have to go to the meals because there is not way to cook meals in your apartment. Capital Place has almost become a nuisance because they keep calling and calling. My sister loves their food. They invite you over to eat when you're looking for a place. That would be a perfect place for her but she can't afford it. It's very convenient to things. That's why I checked into it. It's almost right across almost from the mall.

Nurses and aides are wonderful. Food options are good but food is often not warm and service is slow. Following through with services they claim to offer. Better communication from administration. Housekeeping inside unit is subpar. [name removed] nurse practitioner was not onsite either time we needed appointments having to use urgent care off site. For the price services should be better.

They definitely wouldn't get a five 3.5, I have some issues with their staff not taking the appropriate care for my mom. And issues with them when it comes to her diabetes. And her constantly being wet when I visit or other family members visit. Dirty diapers in her bathroom. Smelled her whole room on several occasions.

The grounds are very nice and the facility is very pretty. However, their communication is awful. They have made changes to my mom's care plan without telling me. It is incredibly hard to get a hold of someone there, even in an emergency. Very frustrating. I would find my mom a better community if the higher-quality places weren't so expensive. Also, three of my mother's gold rings were stolen by someone who works there the first week she moved in.

I can tell you I would not move back again. Attitudes of some staff. Corporate dragging feet on issues. Rent going up every year more than COLA increases. They also rented to those beyond normal abilities to care properly for themselves in order to keep quotas up.

Well, since my client is been there which is a little over a year there's a lot of unrest that was going on with different management and people be laid off or people quit so now they under sunshine management, and we are hoping that things will kind of straightened out in communications from the staff to the residence will improve. Transportation to different places is very limited, but the new management is hoping that eventually they will have seven days a week right now. I believe it's only three.

My husband had been in a smaller facility before he went to Magnolia. The care at the smaller place was more personal. They cannot afford the same professional services (on duty nurse and a doctor on call) but the personal care was better. Magnolia is clean and pretty and the food is good but the staff is busy and cannot provide close attention to each patient.

This is a good place for people who are capable of self-reliance. Not the place for those in need of any assistance. You'll get what you pay for here.

t's passable. The facilities is very old and somewhat rundown. The food/meals are good for the most part. But I have severe hypertension and they don't offer a low Sodium diet. I'd rate it a 6 on a 10-point scale. The best thing I like is its location on 7th street in north central Phoenix,. It's closest to my doctors at the John C Lincoln Hospital medical building.

Nice community. Helpful staff. High turnover. Weak management. Better at promising than following through. Kitchen turnover leads to inconsistent food quality.

The food is disgraceful. The amount they charge deserves decent meals. These people have never eaten the terrible food they are fed. I complained about it but they don't care. No for reason I would not recommend them to anyone.

The price was the biggest issue. The size of the units, was also a determining factor, We have a cottage instead of apartment, they are about 1200 square feet and offer more privacy than apartments. Included in our monthly fee is one meal per day. We were offered a free meal as part of our tour. The food was very good. The kitchen is now being remodeled so there have been some issues but hopefully all will be resolved when it's finished. The calendar does not have as many activities as we were expecting, mostly mornings. Everyone seems very friendly. It's supposed to be for senior living only, not assisted living although I think there are some who have in home care. We are supposed to have cleaning every two weeks but I find it not very thorough, I think they are limited to how much time they can spend, they may be short staffed for the services they say they will provide.

Cleanliness- sometimes surprised that there are dust balls on my mother's floor and pink growing in the bathroom. Quality of care - insufficient nutrition. Where is the 21 gm of protein at each meal, fresh fruit, etc. ? Dining- disorganized staff, long waits, wrong orders, running out of ice cream. Value for cost: would be higher if the kitchen woes were fixed. Paying a lot of money for insufficient meals and insufficient meal time service. Never thought I'd have to be buying my mother fresh fruit, yogurt, soup, etc to supplement her mail plan. The kitchen, food quality and dining service are the big issues.

The management was in transition when I got the tour the end of August and now the first week of November they still are short handed. Some of the services we are supposed to have, aren't delivered as expected. Apartment is supposed to be cleaned every week but was more like 2 or 3 weeks. They are trying but meanwhile we are not getting what we pay for.
