I would highly recommend Sunrise of Dix Hills. The staff is very attentive- from the care managers and nurses to housekeeping and dining. They have so many activities- every day - there's something for everyone really. Communication is excellent- we always felt looped in on everything needed. [Name removed], Director of Sales, in particular is amazing. She goes above and beyond and is always there to help.

All team members have taken me under their wing and helped me adjust to assisted living. Enjoy the lovely grounds to sit outside with other friends. Outing to restaurants are a highlight. This is now truly my home and family.

I am impressed by this facility every day. The staff is very nice. It's evident that they are caring people. The food is very good. They're are always plenty of options our meat eaters and vegetarians. It is also pet friendly! I recommend Sunrise as an excellent assisted living home.

The forge of life in my uncle’s spirit is reignited being in the nexus of quality care, operated by a professional staff, at Sunrise at Canyon Crest (SaCC). With quality care at the center of the nexus, it branches out to social activities that keep my uncle active and the center of attention. SaCC monthly brunch brings family and friends of residents together for social interaction and good food. So, for my uncle, every month is Thanksgiving, because he is the main attraction and King of the castle. Thank you SaCC.

I had the best experience during my recent visit to Bedford Court while looking for a community for my father. I believe all of the amenities would meet my dad‘s needs and the location could not be better. The staff that I met during my visit or friendly and helpful.??

My sister and I could not have been more excited for our Dad to move to Sunrise Chevy Chase 5 months ago. What I first noticed about the community was how vibrant, bright, beautiful and comfortable it was. Every Sunrise staff we worked with consistently demonstrated a high level of competence and love for their work and their residents. All staff, from their leadership nursing team to the staff who provide direct care to my Dad, always respectfully approach him with a hearty greeting and speak directly with him, not deferring to me or my sister for answers. They see my Dad not as an 86 year old man with dementia, with increasingly more moments of forgetfulness than remembrances, but someone worthy of being treated as the smart, accomplished man that he is. Dad senses their sincerity and has melded into a wonderful routine with staff and fellow residents. My sister and I are grateful for the phenomenal care and love he receives.

My mom is a resident at Varenita Simi Valley. They have been wonderful with her! She is very happy there.

The staff keeps me well informed of my dad's status. They have several activities available each day and frequent outings, which are important to us as dad is very social. I would recommend the facility to others!

They only stayed for three months before my FIL passed away and my MIL could not be alone, but what they received while there was top notch. I would recommend it. The facility had a house dog and bird. They had nice groups that came to entertain, and the staff really genuinely cared about the residents and their well being.

The nursing staff was fantastic. They really cared about my brother. If there was a medical issue, they would inform me and talk to the doctor. There was a lot of communication, they kept me in the loop on everything. The apartment was kept clean as well as all the common areas. It did not smell. My brother did not like the food. He always said it was not good. I would definitely recommend this facility. Sunrise brought hospice in toward the end and the nursing staff kept in communication with me daily, of course I was there daily too. But the nursing staff made sure that he passed with dignity. I very much appreciated their support as he came to the end.

Everyone was kind and friendly. The rooms are spacious. The room my husband will occupy has brand new carpet. All furniture will be provided except for a hospital bed which will be funded by Medicare. I am looking forward to working with everyone at Bedford. And, I am confident my husband will have the care he needs. Thank you for the opportunity to review Bedford.

Great staff! They are all very professional and easy to work with. The facility itself is also very clean.

Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. Husband loves it there. He is very acvite in all activities, talks to everyone. Food is good. Would recommend it to anyone who needs assisted living.

I discovered Brighton Gardens when faced with an emergency need for immediate respite care for my mother who has moderately severe dementia. The sales and administrative teams worked with me to facilitate an admission in 72 hours. They welcomed her on move in day and provided the assistance and assurance our family needed to give my elderly father who functioned as her primary caregiver the relief he needed. She transitioned smoothly with the caring team, fun and appropriate activities and occasional outings. She was treated with warmth and kindness. Although her stay was only 30 days, we were made to feel like family. We would enthusiastically recommend Brighton Gardens to anyone looking for respite or a permanent home for a loved parent.

[name removed] and [name removed] were great. All the nurses were very nice. I did not have one negative experience while my sister stayed there even though she was only there a week. There seem to be a lot of fun activities for the residents there even though my sister couldn't participate.

The atmosphere and care that the patients get are phenomenal. They are not left in their rooms all day, and they are interacted with constantly. Any questions or problems are addressed quickly. There is an overall sense of well-being leaving your family member there.

Caregiving for Alzheimer's residents is excellent. Caregiver seems to love the residents like their own family. One caregiver said those words of much like that. The caregivers likely don't get paid much, but they love much the residents. Yet costs have risen significantly - every year.

The staff in the Remembrance unit are fantastic. They provide such great care to my mother. I think that there could be more activities included for the residents, particularly those in Remembrance. The fact that there are many long term employees was very reassuring as well as the fact that the place was, and continues to be, spotless. Plus it's close to home which makes it convenient to visit at any time.

I came to visit Sunrise to honor their veterans for the We Honor Veterans program. Everyone is so warm and friendly! It is a beautiful facility and has an immaculate interior! I would highly recommend Sunrise for your families!
