Sunrise Senior Living

My brother is currently a resident at Sunrise of Silver Spring and most everything has been great, except for the cost. Sunrise increased my brother's bill to $[removed] per month. We really appreciate all that they have done and do at Sunrise, but that cost is extreme.

The staff was amazing. Walked us through everything. Made this transition so easy and with so much more.

Highly recommend Sunrise. Was very fortunate to have them take care of my mother in law. All the staff, the accommodations, food and the room was wonderful. Sunrise was picked above all the others because of the warm of the wood trim and beautiful staircase. Not all white and hospital looking like the other facilities.

Sunrise has been very supportive with my mom. She doesn't like it there and complains all the time. But they are very aware of how dementia treats everyone differently. I am very happy. She is safe and can attend the activities. They don't let her stay in her room and sulk which feeds her depression. They make sure she eats and showers even though she is classified as independent. And they are free with hugs and upbeat conversation. Management and staff are definitely the best. They know all of this residents and always stop to talk or ask how they are.

The staff is outstanding. Walked us through the hard places with care and ease.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Johns Creek and the experience has been great overall. The third floor staff is very caring. The housekeeping is good. The move in process was easy. I would recommend this facility to others.

Experience to-date has been exceptional. Caring, informative staff. Mother has no complaints. We chose this community based on the type of environment me felt our mother would choose. Nice, clean, friendly staff.

I moved my older brother there and they made him them happiest and active that he has been in 30 years. The location is wonderful, quiet and so nicely done, but the staff is at another level. So caring and thoughtful it's unbelievable. He struggled with several mental and health issues, and they all went out of their way, actually above and beyond, to help him and support our family. I can't put into words how amazed I was by the true care they showed. This facility has wonderful meals, housekeeping and activities that are fun and keeps everyone engaged and social. Lots of fun outings too. We can't thank them enough for how happy they made our brother and how comfortable we all were knowing he was safe and happy.

The staff at Sunrise is amazing. They care so much. They made my dad feel so comfortable. Like family. I highly recommend sunrise.

I had a problem with bus service to church (no bus driver available on Sundays) I was given an oportunity to find a friend to take me and bring me back. Then my friend was given a lunch in exchange for the ride to and from church. Now, we have a driver.

We are very happy with Brighton Gardens of St. Charles! The staff is very kind. They know their residents and truly care for them. They also have lots of resources in house. Mom specifically adores the activities manager, Ann. She plans lots of fun things that the residents enjoy.

My mom has been a resident of Sunrise Buffalo Grove for almost 4 years now. Moving in during the pandemic year was not ideal, but the staff at Sunrise were amazing at keeping the residents engaged and active all the while keeping them safe and healthy. As they moved out of the lockdown phase, it became even more evident why moving mom to Sunrise was a great decision. The programs that are offered daily help residents get to know one another through physical as well as mental activities (balloon volleyball is a particular favorite!) Mom has made so many great friends during her time at Sunrise! As is the case with many her age she is not without medical issues. Her medications and overall health are monitored daily and the nurses are all so wonderful at keeping us appraised of mom's overall health. Each and every caregiver treats mom as if she were family. You can't as for more than that!

We moved my Dad and his special companion, [name removed], here in Feb 2023. We are so happy we found Sunrise for them! Prior to coming here, they were at a different senior living community nearby, which didn’t provide the level of care you would hope. It seemed nice, was new and modern looking, but that's not what’s important and we soon saw through the shiny exterior. Here at Sunrise Flossmoor it’s more warm, and gives a feeling of home. It’s smaller, but not too small. People know each other, the staff can communicate and keep track of things better, and it’s not a long walk to get anywhere. The staff is friendly, the nurses are excellent, and the food is very good. The dining room can be slow at times, as they have welcomed many new residents recently. But they are training, figuring it out. I can’t stress this enough - they come when your loved one pushes the alert button for help! I have confidence that my loved ones are safe and well taken care of now.

I was a walk in tour and they staff and the residents were all interacting and seem to be having a great time. They took me back to a beautiful room to meet with the sales team. [name removed] was so sweet and kind and really took her time with me and listened to all that I had to say. She really knew everything about Sunrise and have a wonderful tour. The rooms she showed me were truly beautiful and the whole community was clean and smelled amazing. [name removed] introduced to me to the staff and [name removed] was so kind and could tell she really loved her job and the residents as well. [name removed] and[name removed] seemed to really have a great partnership. The activities where so well planned out and from the looks of it they keep there residents busy everyday. I could really tell that the staff all respected one another and worked well with each other. Over all Sunrise of Dublin is a wonderful community.

[name removed] had a very good stay at Sunrise. They have great care and great food. It was a distance for us as we are in NJ but it was worth every mile. They were woke up for breakfast and if not up to it there is a small fee. After breakfast they get washed and dress. They get help if needed At a certain time, he would get his lunch. They are assigned seats, which makes it easy. Dinner was also at an assigned time. Also the have a cafe where they can get tea, coffee, and fruit. After dinner they have activity if the client wants to participate. The client has an alert if he needs something. We dealt with [name removed] and [name removed]. Both very nice and professional. We would recommend anyone to this facility. I have seen none better.

Brighton Gardens is a wonderful Assisted living community. They are very welcoming and attentive to you, and your family member's needs. Would highly recommend this facility and you can be confident that your family member is in wonderful hands.

My mom was very happy while she was here. The staff are all very compassionate and know each and every one of their residents. Our family highly recommend Sunrise of Highland Park.

I’m very grateful for this facility. They made my mother’s stay very comfortable and the staff was very caring. They responded to my mother’s needs, until her passing. They were always very gracious and thoughtful. I just hope I can have the same in my last years. Thanks to all the staff at Sunrise Manor, I would give them million star review, if possible.

I haven't seen my mother since before she joined the Colonnades so these are just my impressions:1) staff very responsive to requests for maintenance; 2) it would be helpful to ensure the new resident is paired with a couple of other residents for meals for the first week. 3) having medical personnel on site is helpful, 4) the apartments are spacious and well appointed. I am very happy with The Colonnades!
