Sunrise Senior Living

So far Sunrise has been a good fit for my friend. Not perfect but so far it's working for us. My friend has made several reliable and dependable friends with staff. They periodically come to check on her and help her to order her meds. I am grateful for their kindness. They are in transition to get new activities coordinator.

Overall pretty good. High marks on most everything and they work to improve. The staff is undeniably the best part. The facility is a bit older and likely harder to keep up. Yet it is kept clean and free from clutter.

Beautiful community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Father in assisted living and receiving outstanding care and attention in a lovely apartment. Well-run and clean. Lots of activities for residents and many include family members. Accessible staff. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

Sunrise was having turnover of the clinical and activity director which was disconcerting. The staff is very nice.

I can’t speak highly enough of all who work at Sunrise of Orange. The Director of Sales provided my family with an exceptional tour, thoroughly explaining all aspects of the facility. Her detailed approach and engaging personality made an immediate positive impression. During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the Executive Director. He was also approachable and easy to converse with. We work in collaboration with the Assisted Living Coordinator who makes sure we are on the same page in terms of meeting my husband’s needs. The staff at Sunrise of Orange are universally welcoming and genuinely committed to addressing the needs of each resident. The Activities Director excels in his role, ensuring active participation. A delightful BBQ event was organized on the 4th of July for residents and their families. The caregivers demonstrate a true passion for their work and show sincere care in their interactions with the residents.

I have been on this journey with my dear friend and his family for almost a year, right at his diagnosis. I have known the Director of Sales for many years since we lived in the same community. It's not easy to find a place, first of all you don't know where to start or questions to ask. My friend was initially placed in a board and care home that the hospital found which is nothing like this place. From the moment of our initial visit the caregivers, nurses, activities director and executive director were welcoming. I think there was a themed disco day on our initial tour so everyone was dressed up, looked pretty fun actually! The residents that stay in this community are friendly as well. You can tell that the people that work here at Sunrise are caring individuals and they don't make you feel like it's a job with your loved one that they care for. I am more than pleased and know that my friend is being taken care of in this is a top notch community. I am more than grateful!

I have been very pleased with the Sunrise facility care! It is comforting to know that my mother is being so well cared for by kind, friendly, and attentive people. The activities are wonderful! She refers to her new place as “home”and the other residents as “her friends “, which means Everything!

All questions are a five and where their strengths are special is with the Director [name removed] and his management staff. They have a wealth of knowledge and expertise and treat the residents and families with respect, care and understanding.

Our loved one passed a month after moving in but the care was excellent. What we like the most about Sunrise of Cascade is the very caring helpful staff, especially under challenging conditions. They also handled bringing hospice in when that was needed. Of course this is based on experience from 2 years ago but we would indeed recommend this community to other families

I was leaving my doctor's appointment the other day and have always wondered what the building across the parking lot was so I stopped in on a whim. I was delighted to see a lovely community with cheerful residents and staff. I’m not looking to make a move anytime in the near future, but was just curious what it was all about. Nice place!!!

She refused to participate but activities director tried and spent time getting to know her. Director was instrumental in getting her Long Term Care policy to pay benefits. [name removed] died [date removed]

I loved it there, they gave her wonderful care. The facility is very small and a more intimate atmosphere. Everyone was great from the cleaning staff to the General Manager, [name removed] who was very easy to talk too and work with. The nursing staff was wonderful, my mom was in Troy Beaumont a few times and staff from Sunrise visited her every time. The activities were good and they make a point to get everyone involved. Just a great place. Also about every 6 months, Sunrise of Troy does a very nice memorial program for those that have passed. It was so touching, with pictures and special comments. It was so nice, it was a few months after my mom passed and it touched me deeply.

We had been through a rough year with trying to get my husband settled someplace where he felt safe and most importantly, cared for. Sunrise has provided a home for him and for me when I am there to visit. My husband is the calmest he has been in a very long time. We don’t like to find ourselves in a situation where our spouse needs more care than we can provide. It is a very difficult situation but when I cannot be with him, I no longer fret about how he is being cared for. The staff is very engaging and caring and very responsive. There will always be issues but when you have people who care, the solutions come quickly!

We looked for assisted living for our mom as it became difficult to care for her at home. Our mom loves her room. The staff is very attentive to her needs. The food is good with a variety of options. There are many activities offered, but our mom chooses not to participate. The facility is very clean. Highly recommend!

My aunt was taken care of from day one of her arrival at Sunrise. I would recommend to anyone. The staff is friendly and extremely attentive to all residents. They made the effort to get to know me as well as my aunt. They were all lovely.

They staff are very helpful and caring. The apartment sizes and amenities offered here are excellent. I would absolutely recommend Courtyard at Lakewood and already have.

Sunrise Of Orange is a amazing facility. I have yet to meet a staff member who isn't loving ,considerate, patient, and positive. They go out of their way to be compassionate to the residents. I've noticed that the positive interaction of the staff has reflected on the residents- They interact in a positive way - smiling, and helping each other.

What we really liked about the Sunrise of Henderson community is that the staff helped my mother in law very well & were great until the very end when she passed.

So I recently went to the Mount Vernon location to see into the 30 day trial of the assisted-living program for my mom. I was referred from the [removed]. [name removed] has been a godsend and made the whole process so easy for me. She clearly loves her job and the residents there as is evident by the way they light up when seeing her. I have had some not great experiences at facilities in the past and it is so nice to see someone who cares the way she does I am truly sooooo appreciative for everything she has done for me and her assistance. I hope Sunrise knows how lucky they are to have her there representing Sunrise as a whole Thank you [name removed] for everything. You are an angel my friend

Sunrise of Metairie is an excellent assisted living facility. It is clean, and the staff members are very helpful and friendly. I am happy with all the help that has been given to my parents moving in to the facility. I recommend Sunrise of Metairie for anyone needing senior living.
