Sunrise Senior Living

I recently completed a tour and was highly impressed with the level of engagement in activities I observed. They had a "Garden Party" with lovely china settings, tea, live music, hors d'oeuvres, and triangle sandwiches. Several residents and what I assume were their family members seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. When I saw the room my mother could be residing in, I was blown away by the layout and huge windows letting in bright natural light.

Sunrise has truly become a family to our uncle. We are so happy he found a place that he can continue to live his best life but also feel safe doing it. He is able to maintain his independence and get the help he needs to do it. We are so thankful we found Sunrise of Lafayette Hill!

The staff are amazing in how they care for my Mom. She is happy, feels safe, enjoys the activities and food and loves the staff. I'm blown away at how they truly understand her and her needs. Foxhill is a beautiful property and the staff in assisted living, make all the difference. They feel like family.

My mother is currently a resident at Sunrise of Providence and the experience has been great. The facility is clean and safe. The staff are attentive and committed to the residents. I would certainly recommend this facility to others.

This facility is beautiful and well managed; the staff is so nice. I think it's a perfect place for my father, who wants to retain most of his independence, while being surrounded by neighbors his age. I highly recommend!

We would certainly recommend Sunrise Wilton. They have built / designed a very caring community. They go to great lengths to engage new members and their family. Working with the entire team - nurses, the doctor and all the care team have provided my Dad with exceptional care across the full spectrum of his needs. Everyone gets individualized care that they need. We are very pleased with our decision and know that he is cared for better than we were able to at home.

Sunrise of Haverford has been a wonderful place for my dad. There were many different styles of rooms for him to choose from (which he and I both liked) and we love the area. All of the staff, from the people at the front desk to the nursing team, are so friendly and helpful - I feel like they have taken a personal interest in making sure my dad’s transition into assisted living was smooth and that they genuinely care about him (and me). They have lots of daily activity options for him to chose from and the local area is great. I also like that if/when my dad gets sicker he will be able to stay there and even transition into hospice if needed - we both wanted this move to be his final and I couldn’t be happier with our choice.

I would say how much I appreciate the kindness extended to my mother...this place is quaint, cozy & wonderful...

Last summer, we faced a daunting decision following my mom's fall and 7 weeks of Rehab. We knew she could not return to her Senior Living Apartment even with our current care team 24 hours/day. Her dementia was progressing and now her physical needs required next level support. We toured several options and are so thankful that we found Sunrise at Fox Hill. We met with several Directors over two lengthy sessions and reached the decision to move Mom to the memory care floor. During every step of the process, we as a family felt supported and cared for; any questions were met with an immediate response even on a day off. We were prepared for a "transition" that might have some bumps - the reality was a surprisingly smooth, quick and happy transition for mom and us. Six months later, Mom is thriving, engaged, and happy. Every member of Sunrise demonstrates thoughtful care, kindness, & patience, and daily models the outstanding corporate philosophy. I would definitely recommend this facility. Apartments are just the right size, managing staff are very concerned with resident's well-being.

It was a good place for them to stay. They got the care needed which was a step above their precious place. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We needed a place for my husband to live, that also that gave support to the family. Sunrise of Naperville North was just what we were looking for. The staff is very helpful and caring to both the the resident and to the family. They are always available to talk to and provide both physical and mental support to the entire family. I couldn't provide the support for my husband and I have total trust in the staff at Naperville North. The staff member in charge of the memory care floor is amazing and very helpful to both my husband and I. I'm not sure how we would deal with this without them.

The front desk receiving person is just the sweetest and most caring individual; actually there were two. The registering director who showed us around and answered our questions had the best personality. She was happy, personal and not business-like! In such a hard season of life, having to agonize over this decision gave me peace of mind and heart! The floor staff ALWAYs made themselves available and they were happy people! The communication with family was the best I have ever experienced. When my loved one was hospitalized they came to check on us. That was above and beyond. They definitely train and hire the best people!

An excellent tour respectfull of resident privacy. It looks like the garden is interesting and the patio will be enjoyed as the weather turns warmer. Invited to attend upcoming event and very respectful of our family timeline and decisions. Top of the list when our time is right.

I visit my friends frequently at Sunrise of Livingston. The weekends frequently have live music in the bistro and they have baked goods (lately sometimes) and coffee for everyone. The staff have been consistently attentive to my friend despite staff changes. She is well cared for. I would recommend Sunrise of Livingston for friends who want their loved one to enjoy an enriching day.

The staff is excellent- the nurses, aids, security and sales are all fantastic. Very clean. The facilities a nice size. The environment is warm and inviting.

My husband and I are residents at Sunrise of New Dorp. What a wonderful surprise to have an entire team assisting us that is kind, compassionate and experienced. I am very grateful. The food is wonderful and I did not expect it, we are fed very well

My cousin is there, the care has been exceptional, his diabetes which was uncontrolled before he was admitted is much better, the facility is clean and the staff friendly After looking at 4 different facilities, our decision came down to 2 different Sunrise locations, the one in Mill Basin and the one in Sheepshead Bay. The one in Mill Basin just seemed like a better fit
