We are so glad we moved here when we did– almost 4 years ago. Great food, wonderful activities, the people are interesting and very friendly, and the Staff is exceptional! It is a beautiful campus, and we all love the gardens and landscaping. Sometimes we feel like we are living at a Resort.

I have had a great experience at this facility. The were very helpful on the tour. I was impressed with everyone who greeted me.

I loved in 6 months ago. I am retired and healthy. I met a special person here. I enjoy the outings and music.

The girls at the front desk are kind and helpful. [name removed] is incredible. I met a significant other when I moved in. We since have a wonderful friendship. I enjoy the outings and activities.

Very happy with the facility and staff. Definitely a family atmosphere. Did not seem to be a lot of staff turnover. We have cameras in her rooms and then you can see for yourself that the staff does take good care of her when you are not there. I highly recommend using cameras.

As a tenant of Lakewood Estates Retirement Residence, I must commend the exceptional service provided by Brooke, the sales manager. From the moment I first toured the facility, Brooke went above and beyond to ensure that my transition into retirement living was smooth and stress-free. Her warmth and professionalism immediately put me at ease, and she took the time to address all of my questions and concerns with patience and understanding. Brooke's extensive knowledge of the residence and its amenities helped me feel confident in my decision to move in. But what truly sets Brooke apart is her unwavering dedication to the well-being of the residents. When a sudden storm caused a power outage in our area, leaving many of us without electricity, Brooke sprang into action. She coordinated with local authorities to ensure that essential services were restored as quickly as possible, and personally checked in on each resident to ensure their safety and comfort during the outage.

From the minute you meet [name removed] in Sales to the wonderful coordinators and caregivers, you will feel a wonderful, loving and caring vibe. It is genuine. We are so lucky to have my mother's care in their hands. We were able to take a wonderful month long vacation. We weren't sure we should go but Sunrise encouraged us to go, saying Mom will be just fine. And she was. We feel like we've gotten our life back because of Sunrise. The facility is great. They encourage feedback and are very data/metric oriented as a means to facilitate continous improvement. Stop by for a visit and see for yourself!

I’ve been here almost 2 years. The Jefferson offers such a wide variety of opportunities for individual enhancement. The food is extraordinary, the staff is caring and attentive and makes the adjustment coming from your own home possible.

From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. I had toured a few other assisted living facilities and found Sunrise at Sterling Cyn. to be superior! My husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness and Sunrise was so incredibly accommodating, compassionate and caring. Unfortunately, my husband passed 18 days after moving him in (we thought he had more time), but in those 18 days, I learned so much about just how wonderful the Sunrise administration, nurses, staff and everybody in between is. Everyone at Sunrise is professional, happy, knows the residents’ names and greets them cheerfully. Patience and understanding come to mind as well. If you are considering an assisted living facility for you or your loved one, you will not be disappointed at Sunrise!

Sunrise senior living's top notch management and care team ensures residents have their care needs, however complex, expertly met so that they can enjoy time with their families and the many amenities the community offers. The staff is relentlessly positive and creative in finding ways to better residents' daily lives and in offering solutions to any challenges that crop up. This proactive approach has been a great gift to me as a family member as I can simply enjoy my visits with my mom rather than having to spend time trying to troubleshoot issues with her care (as was the case when she lived in another facility). She and I both feel at home in this wonderful spot.

The move in process went just as well as expected. The staff were and are very helpful. They are very vigilant about my dad's condition and keep me informed about any changes. Housekeeping is very thorough. The place is clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Sunrise.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful they all are. [name removed] and her team were nothing short of amazing. The facility was spotless and felt like home. The staff was welcoming and warm. Even the residents were amazing! They made the last part of my dad's life better. That cared so much and were so wonderful.

My 89 year old mother moved into Sunrise after living 48 years in her home. Due to a stroke in Aug 2020, her mobility and eyesight were greatly impaired causing her to need a full-time caregiver. Eventually it was time to move where more help was available. I looked at several communities in SD County and found the level of care and the quality of the facilities to be the most appealing at Sunrise. We went for it but with the notion that if it wasn't a good fit we might have to bounce around. Sunrise La Costa was more than a great fit. They were a pleasure to visit. They met all then needs my mom required, and they did it with patience, kindness, skill, and most importantly, with love. Mom passed in Feb. 2024 at Sunrise. I wasn't the only one who felt loss and shed tears, the Sunrise staff did too. I miss mom but I also miss the genuine and caring staff I came to know and see on a regular basis. I would absolutely recommend them for the kind of care and situation my mom was in.

When I toured this community, it was so clean and beautiful to walk into. All of the staff and residents had smiles on their faces. I love the courtyard with the fountain. It is very calming. It makes me feel good that they have nurses here 7 days a week and 24/7 care managers. I know that my loved one will be taken care of when in their care.

This facility has a wonderful outdoor area. The staff all said hello and smiled. I had a great experience and received many resources.

I took a look around this facility and everyone was very nice. I received good information. My family is not ready to move yet but when we do this will be the place!

The staff is great. The facility is beautiful. My aunt complained about the construction during the renovation. She also complains that the food is bland but the selections are good. She wishes the facility would take them more places like the theater, local festivals & the mall (she's a spry 91 year old)

I can’t say enough great things about the staff at Sunrise Beverly Hills. It’s very clear to me and my mom that this is more than a job to them. The care team is spectacular. My mom has nothing but amazing things to say about Sunrise. The staff at Sunrise keeps my mom engaged in activities and great entertainment throughout the week. I can honestly say she is never bored.

The premises are beautifully designed and very welcoming. The staff are caring and exceptionally helpful. I truly appreciate the amenities and available services offered to my loved one. All in all, this seems to be a wonderful place!
