I think I know most of the caring staff at Sunrise at Flatirons. Every time I’m in the community someone says hello or asks me “if someone has helped you (me) yet?” I know that most people who go into healthcare are caring people but I know my dad and I know what he puts people through when he’s in a mood. So it’s saying something when these folks still go out of their way ask me how I’M doing when I know they’ve been dealing with people like him all day (he’s not that bad but he demands a lot of attention). This team KNOWS customer service. More than that, they are caring and loving people and I truly like them. I’ve toured a lot of communities and nothing holds a candle to Sunrise at Flatirons. It’s not the building. It’s the people who make this place a “home”. Someone taught them this. Someone fosters this kind of caring and attention. I give credit to [name removed] the Executive Director. I’d let her and her team care for my dad over any other staff out there. Well done.

I am enjoying my stay at Sunrise at Mt.Vernon for respite stay. The community is clean, beautiful landscape, amazing activities, team members are very welcoming and supportive.Food is amazingly delicious, dining staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. GREAT leadership, very knowledgeable and welcoming and very helpful.

The Jefferson is a great independent living facility located steps from the Metro and restaurants. There are many resident organized activities and outings. The staff is very good. It is a small village.

I am so happy in my new home. Everyone is friendly, caring, staff is loving, my food is delicious. I do not need care help but my friends say their care is good.

The people at Sunrise at North Hill in Raleigh were wonderful to work with. [name removed], was the primary person we worked with and he went above and beyond to help us with this process. Dad’s room is spacious and pleasant. He’s tells us the food is good and he’s met some other gentlemen he likes to sit with. Overall, he’s settling in well!

My step father stayed here for a short period of time. But he enjoyed this place. Every staffs are very friendly and supportive. He even made a friend with one the caregivers [name removed]. [name removed] was very supportive and made him feel like a good friend was taking care of him. Overall this place is clean, beautiful environment. The foods are great, they offered a lot of options for residents. Only thing not that great was short staffs/caregivers during weekend. You just need to be patience.

I and my entire family were completely satisfied with all aspects of care and attention provided by your facility to my 99 year old mother. We were particularly impressed with the quality of food preparation.

The best choice we made for my mom. Lovely place. Friendly caring and a home feeling.

They are very helpful with navigating the care system-including hospital visits, how to decide on a possible transition to increased care (ie- more aid, or move to memory care). Nothing is ever a nuisance to them.

My mom has been treated extremely well and she has been happy since her first day. They make her feel safe and comfortable, and address any needs quickly. I can't say enough about the staff, they go above and beyond to make my mom feel like she is with family.

My grandmother lived at The Jefferson for a few years, first in independent living and then in assisted living. It was wonderful, full of kind people, delicious food (seriously), tons of activities, shuttles etc. They do a Sunday brunch and we would gather often. We all loved it. She passed in 2017. My mom is there now. The amazing part is that several of the employees from 2015-17 are still there. That in itself is a huge testament to the atmosphere and care that is presented. Everyone seems to be working towards a common goal of kindness and comfort. It is truly a gem.

We came to Sunrise of Sandy on a recommendation from my dad’s hospice nurse after a very stressful time at another unaffiliated assisted living facility. We were welcomed by staff members who showed us around the facility. They were so helpful and had knowledgeable answers to our many questions and concerns. By the time we left we felt like we were old friends. Staff members have reached out several times to make sure everything is going smoothly and to give support. I have had the same positive experience with every staff member I have met. Many staff members stayed late without a moment of hesitation to help my parents get settled. I have had help with getting in contact with doctors and therapists. The entire care staff have put my mind at ease with their patient, gentle care. The activities are engaging and I even get pictures. I have had wonderful help with setting up billings and long term care insurance. Do not hesitate to move your loved ones to Sunrise of Sandy!

From the moment we called The Sheridan at Severna Park we were treated with kindness and compassion for our mom. The facility is clean, beautiful and very organized. All of the staff were very knowledgeable and truly cared about my moms comfort. The staff worked very well with my mom’s hospice team and kept us updated on her care. I cannot say enough good things about the Sheridan.

I would recommend Sunrise. My mom is happy there.

Top notch care here. The people that work here show patience and kindness. They enjoy making people comfortable and bring smile to others. They build a little community within. Those that can still get out are encouraged and supported to go on outings.

This review is based on visiting a loved one at Sunrise in Edgewater three times a week for eight weeks. The facility is well located permitting easy safe and comfortable access to River Walk along the Hudson River with a great view of NYC.The facility is very clean The staff is a great asset, courteous, caring and friendly.They continuously interact with the residents meeting their needs

Sunrise at Flatirons is one of the best senior living facilities I've seen. The team is so compassionate and kind, the buildings are clean, there are tons of activities, every resident I've seen has had a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend this location!

The best place for Senior Living right from the start!! No need to check anywhere else! The entire facilities is SUPER CLEAN!! The staff is amazing! [name removed] and [name removed]are super friendly and they even introduce you to other resident’s and get the real information on how it is living there! When you walk in the halls all the residents you see say hello and talk to you! The food is delicious! They have so many activities! They work with each person to see what they may need individually and make it happen! I wish I can give them more than 5 stars!! Come and see for yourself!

Toured the facility and it stands out above others. Was very impressed with facility, staff and services offered. Chose to tour based on knowledge and recommendation of others who have used the facility.

My brother is currently a resident at Sunrise of Silver Spring and most everything has been great, except for the cost. Sunrise increased my brother's bill to $[removed] per month. We really appreciate all that they have done and do at Sunrise, but that cost is extreme.
