We chose this facility due to the location... quality and cleanliness of the facility and rooms... reputation of staff... ability to puree food. The facility is well-staffed with quality people. The treatment of my aunt was compassionate and skilled.

I definitely would recommend Sunrise is a warm, caring community with the right staff for my mom's needs. Other places here had her in memory care to get the appropriate staffing level.

I had a lovely experience touring the facility and speaking with sales and staff. I think it offers good value for the price The rooms are nicely decorated. The other spaces are also very cheerful. I was glad to hear that staff turnover is low.

My mother likes it all. She likes the food the best. The size of the rooms is what stood out from other facilities though.

A Place for Mom helped us find Sunrise of Boulder 4+ years ago. We are now moving to Ohio and wish we would take Sunrise with us! Fabulous caring people and a lovely environment!

My mom has been at Sunrise for five years and has now turned 100. They take excellent care of my mom and always respond promptly to any concerns. They have excellent bedside manner. Mom has a need for a sit to stand unit since she can’t stand and hold weight. The caregivers do a remarkable job of keeping her safe. Also I am informed regularly of how she is doing both health wise and mood wise The person who is in charge of all caregivers has remarkable rapport with my mom. more than one time she has motivated mom to participate in activities. the head nurse is incredibly caring and called doctors and the hospital to coordinate mom’s care when she was sick. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am. They’re the best senior living in the area.

We are Catholic and there is a Catholic Church 3 minutes down the road we are able to bring my mom to. The church also comes to the Sunrise to give out communion.We picked it because my mother was very particular about food and they had a wonderful food selection that was fresh and delicious. Far superior to other places we toured. The staff is friendly and caring and there are family events. Even the memory care is included in special events, sometimes downstairs with family and sometimes up in the memory care itself.

I absolutely recommend. Amazing staff, super friendly and very attentive, they send me pictures and updates and call if any concerns. The move was great, the meals are good. They have monthly family programs and the food is always good when we attend. It's expensive, but care and quality is amazing! We are very happy with our choice!

Very Friendly people and it sits between siblings houses and next to hospital!! I would absolutely recommend.Pricey and could use new paint but they clean well! Mom's happy and I'm happy!

I would recommend. Depending on your needs you may need supplemental care. We have an aide stay overnight. We feel that arrangement is much better than a nursing home and they accommodate it.The staff and the environment/community. Everyone is concerned, supportive, and welcoming

My mom is in memory care at Varenita and I couldn’t be happier! The staff is amazing and very caring! [Name removed] the activity director has outing, games, crafts and entertainment going all the time for the residents. [Name removed] the med nurse is extremely caring and helpful with all the needs of each resident. [Name removed] , [name removed] and the entire staff are always supportive and very helpful with all needs. ( I wish I knew everyone's names) . [Name removed] and [name removed] at the front desk are always smiling and welcoming everyone! I can’t say enough wonderful positive words for this amazing place. Thanks [name removed] for making a difficult situation so much easier!

I chose The Jefferson Independent Living to be near family in northern Va. It was the perfect choice. The environment here is stimulating physically, intellectually and culturally. Surrounded by other residents who are accomplished and exciting is the best way to live. The staff is wonderful and caring. Feel alive...laugh...think...be active...come to The Jefferson!

As a Senior Real Estate Specialist I make it my goal to be familiar with the various senior communities. When I toured Sunrise at Mt. Vernon I felt welcomed immediately. The place was very clean. Not only was the management and staff friendly, so were the residents that I interacted with.

Touring Sunrise Mount Vernon was insightful and individually tailored. The rooms are designed specifically to meet the needs of seniors comfort, Sunrise has a wide range of activities designed to keep seniors engaged and active. But most importantly, sunrise has a desicated and empathetic staff

It's wonderful, extremely caring staff (residents also very welcoming).I especially like the focus of one or two caregivers for a resident...a relationship with trust and consistency can be established and it means better monitoring of the resident's health, etc.

We and my folks are so happy with Brighton Gardens It was lovely to begin with and are currently doing a $6 million renovation. Two elevators, full facility generator. The staff is great. My folks place gets cleaned and laundry done every week. If they need help with a shower, the staff is happy to help. They call us if they see or hear anything off with my folks. All the staff from administration, sides, nurses, servers, maintenance are wonderful. We couldn't be happier. It is home to my parents. Sometimes they run out of things for the second seating but to food is good. The staff is wonderful.

It was amazing!!! We played bingo and the people were so sweet and inviting! I had the opportunity to play with them and it was a blast! I’m thankful that God has showed me the love and joy these people have for our youth!! I’m super thankful I was given the opportunity to visit!!
