Belmont was a nice small community neat and clean and the staff did a great job with the tour answered our questions but it just was not the right fit for my mother as the rooms were too small. And she did not feel like she would fit in here.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. Everyone was nice, and my tour went well. The staff I came across was friendly, and my questions were answered. The community looked nice. It was a good experience overall, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.

This community was nice. When you walked in you were greeted in a friendly manner and made to feel welcome. The community appeared clean. We had an opportunity to eat a meal there and the food was good but the service in the dining area could have been a little faster. The staff looked professional. The community offered everything we were looking for.

We found when we toured this community that the parking was very difficult. The inside was nice but appeared to be on the dark side maybe it was the furnishings there seemed to be enough natural light coming in through the windows. I felt the community along with the rooms could have been a little more open. However, the staff and the residents seemed friendly.

We had a nice tour and I liked seeing how nice they set the community up for the residents. Everything from the room and staff looked just fine but the price to move in was more than we wanted.

I was looking for a community that would tend to the needs of my parent. They were nicely decorated but the price was a little more than we could handle.

My loved one is happy and pleased some days. One time they were in the bathroom and needed help. They rand the bell over and over and no one came to help. They were on the toilet for about an hour. That upset me terribly because I was calling her and the nurses station and no one answered. I was not too impressed.

Overall they're a decent place. The sales woman told me the food was great but it is not. The place is nice and the maintenance is nice and takes care of the community. It is clean and it is kept up well. Most of the people here are memory care residents and the age range is about 80+. There are two young women who are phenomenal with the residents and the activities they organize for them. Most of the staff are from other countries and I don't think they truly understand English. It's suppose to be restaurant style dining but they aides are not understanding how to serve right. They forget the meal orders because they aren't writing it down and giving the wrong meals. Some of the aides that work in the kitchen are rude at times. The food is overcooked, processed, and bland. Salt and pepper is available but you have to remind them to bring it out. Some staff are very good at their jobs but some are rude and disrespectful and they should not be working here. They are trying to make changes from the feedback. They don't knock on your door, instead they use their keys to enter the room. I also see attitude changes when the family members of the residents come to visit, they present themselves to be more kinder.

Everything here is for the greater good of the whale. Most old people are in wheelchair or have limited memory, and so things must be tailored for everyone. Food is good but bland. Activities are good. But people don’t attend. The place is as good as you make it.

This community had a nice and welcoming staff. The sales representative was also very friendly.The rooms I visited did not smell as clean as I thought they should. I was not sure if my dad would need only a memory care place or an assisted living facility. Initially, he was accessed for memory care. The place I ended up choosing re-accessed my dad and could tell he had definitely improved and was up to assisted living.

Both of my parents have recently made the move into this community and things are going okay but there is room for improvement. The meals they have been provided have been mediocre and the staff have been trying to encourage them to get more involved in the activities throughout the week. I do think they need better organization in the medical and nursing department and how they run things.

On the tour I saw they were not going to be a good fit, It is a very large community. It is clean and bright with lots of activities. We did not need the activities. I felt they were trying to oversell themselves. I thought my loved one can't get that much attention while living a large community.

Sunrise of Burlington was a nice place overall, in terms of the friendliness of the staff and the facility itself. However, we were very disappointed in the food. My loved one said the menu lacked variety, they'd serve the same things quite often, and also the food itself was generally just very bland.

After touring other communities we picked this one. It was going to be a good experience but my loved one fell as soon as they were in. We ended up moving out to a better fitting community.

Care plan has not been followed consistently. Turnover in staff since February has affected effective care and overall rating of the facility Activity staff are phenomenal, but they've had to reduce outside entertainment, I can assume due to community not being full. Difficulty with communication and follow-thru.
