Things eventually happen, but some of the concerns took a while to be resolved. For example: the laundry and bathing on a regular basis. I do not think that the activities are done on a consistent basis for this team.

It is hard to find out who is in charge. They always say you need to talk to somebody else. We have had problems with my loved ones clothes being missing, and laundry was not done.

My loved one was a resident at Sunrise for a short amount of time. Overall, it was a decent experience. Although most of the time the staff were sitting around on their phones, not changing her sheets, not quite sure what other types of things were not being done, but they seemed to have a lot of time on their hands if they were sitting around.

They are understaffed and wait times for assistance can be long, at times.

There hasn't been any Management in this building since the end of September a new general manager just started Monday. The food is marginal I have been keeping track of In-House occupancy. In the past 5 months five more residents have moved out and have moved in. This is not a good place to refer people to. I can't think of anything else the remodeling the plate and the raising everybody's rent from between $200 to $400 a month

Meals/ Dining - pretty awful, very uncomfortable dining area in Memory Care. The facility is pretty and the staff is nice enough.

Probably wouldn't recommend, but wouldn't dissuade then either. Building was nice and clean and it was in our price range.

The move in process was easy. There is a big variety of food at every meal and they are very accommodating in the kitchen. I found it very clean, but there's a lack of communication. Everyday there are activities if the resident chooses to participate I find the health services laxed in caring for the residents.

While I do recognize that my father-in-law had some difficult care needs, I don't feel that Sunrise was very forthcoming about their ability/inability to care for him. I feel they over promised, and under delivered. We removed him after he fell seriously ill and had several falls.

My loved one was a resident at Sunrise of Plainview and overall the experience was okay. The place is beautiful, however I don't feel like my loved one always got the one on one care/help that he needed. I was also shocked by the meals, which didn't seem healthy for those who may have high blood pressure or other health considerations. The overall quality seemed good, though.

I would recommend to others. The price is comparable, it's very close to my house and it's a warm and friendly atmosphere, and is clean and under renovation.

They are expensive for no reason. They charge you for everything except for air! You are definitely not getting your moneys worth. Memory care staff are glorified sitters. No real interaction with residents unless they have to. Sunrise locations look nice on the outside but are antiquated and outdated. The music, activities, and events are routinely rotated, boring and outdated.

Some of the staff are very friendly and some of the staff act like they hate working there. They seem to be short staffed and it reflects on their ability to give quality care. For example, when my brother pushes his call button for help it takes someone up to an hour to come to his apartment. Legacy, the physical and occupation therapy staff and care he would rate a 5. He has had excellent care and has made significant progress with the Legacy staff. Based on the answers above and the fact they charge a high amount and additionally for rides anywhere and other additional costs (not much included in base price), over $[removed] per month to pass out meds, and the quality in care is lacking.

I would not recommend Sunrise at Hunter Mill. High turnover of staff, poor communication in general and food was terrible. Communication was very poor and they did not return phone calls on a timely basis .

Um, it use to be better, I was referred here, by A Place Called Mom. Wished the Community was more Assisted Living, and wish the Community was younger. Management, use to be better. Staff work very hard.

The Brighton Gardens of Mountainside community kept the clients engaged with activities that stimulated their evolvement of all. The one negative, not encouraging clients to use the bathroom often enough.

The cleanliness of the facility is excellent during the day shift. However, if there is an issue after the day shift leaves, it may take longer for the issue to be resolved and, if not urgent, not until the next day. Staff and residents were very friendly when I came to see the facility and when I arrived. They all know the residents' names and call us by name. However, there are members of the waitstaff in the dining room who do not listen to residents' needs. For me not to have to make meals is wonderful. I find the food excellent and there is a very good variety. The Activities staff does a very good job planning and executing activities. However, I think there could be more variety in activities. Would I recommend Brighton Gardens of Mountainside? Yes, with some reservations. The everyday issues residents have with other residents and staff are not always addressed in a timely manner and sometimes not at all. None of these issues are urgent or life threatening. They just make for a not very congenial atmosphere.

Sunrise of Severna Park is a wonderful facility. The staff are very nice and the place is beautiful and clean. Just make sure you are clear from the beginning the factors that decide the payment. The price goes up for every little thing the resident needs and they charge for services that they are supposed to provide but are not providing. The move in process was easy. My mom loves it here though, so that's what is most important.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Des Peres and overall the experience has been okay so far at this facility. The upper management is very approachable. The care staff can be slow to respond at times. The food service is okay and works with dietary needs. The housekeeping is fair. The med techs are very good.
