Great people, lousy food, not always organized but they try. I would recommend to others.

The price is ridiculous and should be looked at. The room size is small. Some staff are wonderful. There is much discontent and unhappiness among the staff, and there is large turnover. The activities were great. The current leadership is new but clueless and will not be able to cure the toxicity that is causing patient care to suffer, and it needs a shake up from the top.

Well kept and functional for the residents. Appropriately priced and always clean and smells fresh. The 1.5 it lacks to get a 5 rate is due to the sub-pair food serve and quality. Overall the staff is supportive and accommodating...

The employees are friendly. Most seem they enjoy their jobs. My mother's windows were very dirty at move-in and have yet to be cleaned. TV cable provided did not work for a month. An account had to be opened for her. I am not sure how often her apartment is cleaned but it is dirty when I visit every week. Some silverware purchased for her apartment has been taken to the kitchen. Monthly activity and meal calendars would be helpful for visitors that do not have access to those otherwise.

Admin staff is not available for help. My sister paid for a landline for five months before they activated it. The food is cold or lukewarm ALWAYS. They had laundry facilities broken for over a month and I had to come and get her laundry. They misrepresented their bus service to the doctor appts. It is outsourced. They had a flood and residents have no activities for the past 7 weeks and for the immediate future. We are extremely disappointed. Also the medical alert system doesn't work.

The aids, activity staff and management are all warm and patient. My mother is in a 1 bedroom unit ~500 sq ft, which is the largest unit I was able to find at 4 facilities. The carpet is commercial and the walls are an unappealing taupe - rather depressing. Closet space is good. Housekeeping limited - laundry, quick vacuum, bathrooms. Expected more thorough process. The low rating is for the food - awful, bland, unappealing and the wait staff can be impatient. My mother hasn't found many activities of interest and the only "trips" are to the grocery store. The overall facility is bright, clean and well cared for.

The quality of care here has been inconsistent and seems to depend on which staff member is on duty. While some caregivers are attentive and do an excellent job, others fall short in meeting basic needs. There have been ongoing concerns with accessibility and responsiveness. At times, essential items like the call button, bed controls, and medical equipment have not been within reach, which can be distressing for someone who requires full assistance. Because of this inconsistency, I feel the need to visit frequently just to ensure everything is as it should be. With more consistent attention to detail and care, this could be a much more reassuring environment.

We were not impressed. The facility is undergoing renovations which might ultimately be a positive thing, however in the short run the facility does not present well. It felt more like assisted living rather than independent. Apartments were very small for a couple. Pleasant employees and presenter, but we will neither move there, nor recommend to anyone else.

We brought my mom and disabled sister to tour Sunrise. They really liked the rooms and facility. Lots of activities and everyone was friendly. We were ready to sign a contract, but after the care assessment, they said they couldn’t accommodate my sister because she is a fall risk. Such a disappointment.

The overall experience was not flattering . My Mom developed sores on both heels of her feet. The technician basically put band aids on issues. I did not have a good repoire with head nurse. My Mother left facility one day with family member, the staff stated she went out with her son, I was her only child. I was frantic. The facility did a good job regarding cleanliness of room.

The bedrooms at the memory care floors were very nice. I liked the one bedroom with a separate living room. Each rooms on the memory care floor are along side two long corridors. This was a little impersonal, the rooms felt lost. Also Sunrise projects a building old and dated. However, the sales person [name removed] was great. She had full knowledge of the facility, the care provided, and answered all my questions.

Overall, there are some areas where the experience could be improved. Nighttime coverage and supervision have at times seemed limited, and I would have appreciated more consistent check-ins. There have also been moments where I felt additional attentiveness from staff would have been beneficial. In addition, more encouragement or assistance with participating in activities would be helpful, especially for residents who are less mobile and may need support getting to common areas. Like any community, there can be challenges, and families may want to ask detailed questions about staffing, supervision, and engagement opportunities when making their decision.

You have no staff there all leaving. Seriously we took our mother out of that place cause the guy [name removed] has no idea what he is doing or what is going on. We asked [name removed]. To move our mother to a floor which had more activities and more freedom but he said no. The food was cold at times and not served on time. The size of the room was adequate but it was just a room nothing more. Boring and unfriendly . They put up a good façade being new and everything but the people Have no idea what's going on. And like I said before your staff is leaving. Change the person running the place and you will have a good place. Keep him and you will have no staff and no people living there.

Staff were great. They did their best. My father-in-law passed. The night he was wheeled out they allowed an estranged family member who was not authorized to be there go into his room and take what she wanted. If you are not worried about the safety and your loved one's personal items I guess this would be a fit for you

It isn’t quite what we are looking for. The “Mountain View” apt. Was a disappointment. I had to squint to see anything. Then I learned that one gets charged more if the unit is close to the elevator. Renovations are going to be done which means noise, dirt and inconvenience. And the most important, it’s too far from our son

It was a shared unit. The other tenant wasn't there. We assumed that she was in the hospital. There were papers piled on her bed in her room. All of her belongings were filling all the shared space, drawers and cabinets, as well as bookshelves and a large chair that blocked our access to our room. The refrigerator didn't function properly and overheated. There were belongings all over the bathroom also. When we moved my mom in, we really couldn't. The other person wasn't there the entire 45 days my mom was. During the interview process, we made it clear my mom was a diabetic and also needed a cardiac diet. We were told that if she needed different food, it would be provided. She has dentures and isn't able to eat lettuce. They continued to give her lettuce salads everyday even after we told them she couldn't eat lettuce. They also continued to give her orange juice everyday when I provided V 8 juice. Orange juice is too high in sugar. When I took her home, her blood sugar was over 200 and her legs were very swollen. She has heart failure. I was getting calls every night because she wasn't happy. They weren't giving her the weekly showers. I was there several times during meals. It was dead quiet. There was no music or conversation. It seemed like the residents weren't allowed to talk. My mom was in the memory care section. Individuals who were in the downstairs section, seemed to have more choices and were happier.

Staff is nice, apartments are fine, food is terrible. Until they fix their food, I would not recommend anybody moving there.

We appreciated the tour, which was pleasant and informative. The facility is attractive. We believe that the caregivers are well trained and would offer excellect service to residents. Our concern is the safety of the architectural design of the building—particularly of the highrise facilities—that offer only two elevators. As noted, one may be out of service for some time awaiting service by contractors. Having access to only one elevator to provide emergency egress for aged or disabled populations creates an un-safe environment. Emergencies are inevitable, and I wonder how Sunrise prepares for such emergiencies. Thank you very much. [name removed]

I was between a rock and a hard place. My mother was being discharged from the hospital, and the Sunrise Of Crestwood was refusing to take her back to Assisted living. Crestwood had a room available in memory care that I found not to be suitable for my mother. I asked if I could bring her back to AL with a 24 hr caregiver just for a week to give me time to find another facility. I had little opportunity to look for another facility. Fleetwood had a room available which was better than Crestwood.

Very nice staff. Sometimes they don't respond quickly especially during meal times. Floor staff gets pulled to serve meals. My in-laws don't like the food. They say it's tasteless however both are on strict low sodium diets so I'm sure that part of it.
