Sunrise Senior Living

Sunrise of North Lynbrook was an older community that we toured. The rooms seemed very old and needed updating. It was nice and clean and the lady who gave us the tour was very lovely. We were looking for a younger more energetic population for my mom. The place was just not as bright and cheery for it to be a good fit for us.

Sunrise Senior Living of Abington was beautiful. The staff gave a wonderful tour of the community. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were very small and did not provide the comfortable feel we were looking for in a community for my mom. And when you left the grounds it was so busy and crowded that it felt very commercial.

The staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Dad likes the food, however it does seem to take a long time to receive it. They do offer a lot of activities. The community is clean and very pretty. They do not have staff on site twenty four hours a day. I would recommend this community.

My friend is doing alright, but we will be moving her very soon because they are not able to take care of her anymore. They gave me 7 days to move her which was not good, but it was a great place and we loved it. My friend loved it and it was a nice location. We just feel that they were not truthful on the care. They assessed before she moved in and now say they can not take care of her.

It was was a very informative tour. The staff was very friendly and caring. It has an older, quaint feel to it. We ended up choosing another community because of the wait list and found a community closer to my home.

My sister and I liked this place very much. The staff is nice and seemed very helpful and the residents seemed very happy there. They had a community dog that I loved however what they didn't have was medical help on site 24 /7 and they didn't seem to have a monitored system in place to keep track of the residents. Where my mom is now they have alarms in the beds to keep track of how many times she gets up how much sleep she is getting etc. which was a reason I chose them over this community.

I don't have a lot to say about this community.My impression on my tour of the community was it was very nice clean and the staff was very friendly. However, it was very expensive and I didn't feel it was the best place for my mom to be.

I have the piece of mind knowing that mom is safe and is very well taken care of. The community is very clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. They offer exercises and activities which mom does participate in. She overall likes the food. The price is expensive but for the piece of mind, I am getting it is well worth it. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I toured a few other communities and what made me choose this one was the location and the overall feel of the community.

I am quite pleased with Sunrise although they keep asking me to get other things for Dad. First it was a toilet seat riser, then a new bed and now bibs for eating. He is quite comfortable there and now that he will be getting physiotherapy I think he will progress quite rapidly into walking again. To start with they were having him participate in singing and music, which are not his thing, but have adapted his program more to his interests.

I was able to see this community for the care for my parents. The community seemed very clean and that staff was nice. We did not get to see a tour at this time but would suggest that families see the community for the care of a loved one for the care that is offered.

Sunrise at Orchard is a terrific, fabulous community. The facility provided a very informative tour. It appeared that they offered many activities and it was very clean. It just wasn't the right fit for our budget.

This looked like a beautiful community when we visited. The apartments looked nice and the person that took us on tour was friendly. My loved one just did not get the best first impression when we visited. I would recommend maybe taking a look at it.

My loved one is doing just fine at this community. The care is all very nice from our experience.

This looked like a clean community when I visited. Everyone I met was very friendly and helpful. This community did seem a little confusing when we toured it. They do offer some nice grounds and they seem to offer a lot of activities.

My loved one's stay is going fine so far at Sunrise. The staff have been attentive and the facility is fine. My loved one gets plenty opportunities to socialize and participate in activities. The location and price point was good for our family. I am a bit worried, however, because the staff claim that my loved one can handle independent living and I am not so sure, but I'd like to see what happens. I'm sure she's in good hands!

I liked this community when we visited. The people we met were nice and the community seemed clean. This community allows pets and they offer daily activities. This community did not have an opening when we visited.

We toured this community and liked the staff who were able to answer the questions that we had. the community was very clean and the menu seemed to be very clean. e would suggest that families tour this location for the care of others.

I really think there food could be a little better They obviously don't have enough people on the floor working To many patients and not enough people to serve I have been there numerous time and the reply after the patient buses Seem to take them longer than 10 minutes to service patients There are some cna's that seem to not like there jobs to much, They have a frown on there faces Not all but some I won't mention names You already know who they are I know older people are a BIG pain In the [Removed] But that's why the people that work there should like there jobs If not they need to change their career

The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and everyone seemed happy living there.

This looked like a nice clean community when we visited. The person that took us on tour was nice. They are able to give residents their insulin shots. We did choose a community that was closer to us.
