We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice looking place, and everyone we spoke to seemed friendly. It was down to this community and another, and while we went with the other community this is also definitely one I would recommend!

Was very nice. People looked cared for and active. Was a very rainy day but there was activity. Person I was to meet with did not show up but Alison showed me around and very informative. Unfortunately too expensive. Thought it was within our means, but after carefully looking at pricing we realized it was too much.

Seemed like the Cadillac of places. Beautiful. But very expensive. Wish we could afford it.

Clean, open, large building. Residents seem to be enjoying themselves. Memory care unit is separate and currently under renovation, making it look a bit disorganized, but this should change. A la carte pricing (daily rate) for everything is somewhat overwhelming as cost of care would never be the same two months.

It has been a good experience with Sunrise at FlatIrons. The day to day care is really good. One area where the could improve would be to communicate better with the family.

It was definitely at the top of our list, although we ended up having to go with somewhere that worked better with our insurance.

very nice "Hilton" feel bright rooms, large windows. Shared room was even spacious. Layout felt a little confusing not sure she would get enough attention in the assisted living side...not ready for locked side. only a 30 wander guard option.

The staff that I worked with here were very friendly, and helpful throughout the whole process. They provided me with a lot of valuable information that helped me during my search, even though we did not end up choosing their community in the end.

Our loved one has only been here a few weeks but so far everything has been good. The facility has a nice homey environment, the living rooms and furniture make it feel like a home rather than a "facility", and they always have some pleasant music playing. The staff are friendly, and they've been very responsive to any requests that we have had.

Very very nice modern decor, Amy sales Director is awesome and extremely helpful. Excellent layout in rooms. Dining on every floor (3 floors). Pricey in my opinion but depending on care needs for individual may be worth it. Definitely gave me a good basis for comparison.

They seem to be a little understaffed at times. They will say that they are going to get something done, but then they do not do it. They could use a few aesthetic updates, like newer carpet. Activities for my mother could also be better. She is very high functioning, and many of the activities seem to be for those whose mental faculties are not all there, so some more sophisticated activities for her would be good. Other than that it has been great. The food is wonderful, and the people there are extremely nice and friendly.

They are worth a look if you are searching for options in the area.

I was very impressed when I came to visit. It was beautiful and clean and the staff was friendly. They try very hard to engage people. They have movie nights and things to do. I don't think mom can get over the money part. She doesn't like that she still has to pay for some of her own stuff, but the community is very nice in my opinion.

We toured this facility and found it to be a good experience over all. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgable. The facility it self looked older then it was and rooms small. The food we sampled for lunch was mediocre at best, which would be a turn off for our client. We did chose another facility, but this was our second choice.

The administration is very warm and professional and comforting. One area where they could improve would be the nurses aids need to return in a more timely fashion. These are older people, and when they need something it could very well be an emergency. Other than that it has been a really good experience. Any time there is an issue (for example, there was one bad apple in the staff) they have been really good at addressing the situation.

One areas for improvement would be that they could be a little better staffed. I have had to hire outside help to assist and stay with mom at certain times because they were not adequately staffed to fulfill the need themselves. Other than that it has been a positive experience. The care givers are very friendly and are genuinely concerned about the welfare of my dad, as well as all the residents. The food is very good, and they do have a lot of good activities.

This was a nice looking place overall, but it did not end up being a good long term solution for my loved one. Sunrise of Fleetwood is a nice looking, well kept community, and the staff are all very friendly. However, once things settled down my loved one did not need the degree of care that they provide here. Still, it is definitely worth a look for those looking into care options for their own loved ones!
