Sunrise Senior Living

We are very satisfied with Sunrise. My loved ones like the food we don't have any complaints about the food. It's clean, and the staff is good, and they are good with communication. The only reason we would give them less than a five is, the size of the rooms. Most of the rooms in the area seemed to be small, but still we would liked to have seen them a little bigger.

The assisted living part of the community was very nice and the residents were active. The memory care area had about 20 residents and they were all just sitting around watching TV and the staff was at their station doing their work and there was not interaction with the residents. The community was nice and clean. There were no odors or anything else that made it feel like a hospital.

Our experience with Sunrise of Jacksonville has been a good one. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff have all been very friendly. The nursing staff in particular are really on top of things and do an excellent job looking after the residents.

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, and the staff seemed friendly and professional. It was definitely our second choice, if things did not work out with the community we selected. Definitely worth a look!

I think they are doing a good job. It was clean and the staff is friendly. I don't have anything negative to say about them. I think this just might not be the right fit for Mom, she is having a hard time with the transition.

I think they do a good job at Sunrise of Countryside. The caregivers are friendly and professional, and the quality of care that they offer the residents is very good. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they have a lot to offer their residents.

Very nice facility, with a 30 bed skilled nursing unit as well, in case a resident needs some rehab after a hospital event. Rooms are adequate but a bit less homey than I would like. Staff is fabulous and memory unit ladies look like they really get the residents involved. Less expensive than the Staten Island facility, but owned by the same people. Will stay on my short list.

They've done a good job so far at Bright Gardens of St. Charles. The staff are very nice, and they've treated us well. Really the only negative aspect is that the community is a little on the large side.

We were only here for a short respite stay. The first night there was a problem where he fell getting in and out of the bed. The beds were very tall, like hospital bed height, we had to take the box spring out so he could get in and out of it, and it was fine after that. But it wasn't a good start. outside of that they were good. The main thing that was disappointing, and it wasn't really explained to us that well, that there isn't a nurse on site. They say they have 24/7 nursing care available, but it's not on site, it's over the phone.

Nice private home typw atmosphere, but no vacancies - best apt is the ones that have the cupola - great windows & water views (from some). Some also have terrace - dad would love it. Unfortunately, outings seem limited to Kings Plaza & other Brooklyn spots. There are only so many times you can go to the Brooklyn Museum! Also seems geared toward "older" mind-sets.

Thomas was great guide. good location, near restaurants & shopping & promenade along Emmons Ave w/ views of Bay. Kitchenette has non-operational oven/stove which is a waste of space. Better served to have apt size fridge & use space for storage. apt was bright w/ view of water. They have a van, which is great asset, but outings stay in Brooklyn & don't take advantage of City at all. Not sure activities are for the "wit-it" clients or the older mind-set. But it's a nice, clean building w/ renovations in progress & they're adding wi-fi - so hope computer classes will follow! Definite possibility for dad.

Overall I think they do a good job at Sunrise at Orchard. The staff are all very friendly and professional, and they worked quickly to help our family during a time sensitive situation. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take good care of the people who live here.

We considered Sunrise when we were looking for options. It would have been a little less expensive than the place we chose, initially. However they charged for extra care items, and in the last month or so my loved one has declined and by now we would be paying a lot more.

Its good, you would have to walk on water to be great. Everyone is real nice to my mother. She likes the food and is getting used to it there. She has plenty to do to keep her busy. Transportation is available for outings and doctor appointments.

Our loved one was only here a short time before she had to move to a higher care facility, but overall I think they did a very good job at Sunrise of Lynnfield. The people that work here are very professional and caring, and did everything they could to help her during her time here.

The community is very good, though I would like to see more staff. The staff who are there are very friendly. They have activities and services my mother has not needed to use yet.

We were here for a while. It was nice, the staff was friendly. Mom felt like the other residents were sicker than she is, and it made socializing a little difficult. Other than that they did a pretty good job.

A very nice homey place, looks well maintained and staff is very nice. Very nice rooms. A bit on the pricey side but if it fits your budget definitely take a look.
