It is a very home community. It is all on one level, and has a feel of a true community. There is a variety of food for the residents, and this makes it more appealing for my loved one to eat. We had expected the community to assist us with making the decisions of where to place our loved one initially after the assessment, instead of starting in independent living and then having to be moved into another part of the community. We felt that it should have been a partnership during the decision process, and the community left it up to us to decide.

It's a nice option, better than living in an apartment. They provide breakfast and dinner, and you can buy an optional lunch every day. They come in and clean the apartments once a week, and take trash five nights a week. They also have a shuttle van that takes the residents to the grocery store and other shopping excursions. The staff seem to be very friendly and treat the people here very nicely.

Overall good experience, but one improvement they could make is safety. Our loved one has dementia and we wish there was a place for her to walk outside freely while still be safe and secured, but there is not. Also we have had some mix ups with the billing department that we are having troublegetting resolved.

We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider. The community was very nice and they were very accommodating to us.

I wasn't aware it wasn't a continuing care community. Which meant that if my loved one needed nursing care beyond 14 days, she would need to move to a different community. They were terrific while she was there. The service was great. It seems they frown upon if you choose different options than their standard, recommended options. For instance, they encouraged me to switch to the doctor that's affiliated with their facility, which I declined. But they sent their doctor to see her anyway and then charged for it, which I'm still fighting. But the staff there was wonderful, and my loved one misses the staff there more than anything. I just needed her closer to me, and I needed nursing care with the option to stay and live out the rest of her life there. Also, there's not a lot of residents there. And because occupancy was lower, there weren't a lot of activities. So my loved one was bored a lot of the time.

We had a virtual tour during Covid shut-downs. There was an actual person who walked through and showed us the community. I thought they did a great job. I really liked them. It was a very nice, clean facility.

[name removed] was very thorough with questions that I might have and her knowledge of the facility. I thought the tour was very informative and found the facility to be clean. I did get the feeling when viewing the room, that I was inside a hotel room, with the same type of layout. Found the bedroom to be very small. I don’t think that my mother would be able to adjust to the room size coming from a single family house. Time will tell as I continue my search with other similar facilities. I found [name removed] to be a great credit to your organization and want to thank her once again for her time.

Overall it was a very nice community. The staff are great, other than the lady at the front desk. The community is clean, but my loved one's room wasn't as clean as it could be. The food was fantastic according to my loved one. It is a beautiful place.

It is a great community overall. The residents and management make it a great place. It would be nice to have more variety of activities for the residents. The dining room has low staff, and would be nice to have more staff to assist the residents.

Definitely a good option. After I saw the facilities, I think that we are definately looking at getting something larger than a studio - I think the smallest room option that my mother would want is a 1 bedroom configuration. After talking with my wife, I also think this location is a benefit - its about a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk so, in the event that my mother really needs us to visit, its not a problem for us to pop over. I think the facility itself is alright, though its certainly expensive for the amenities offered (no pool, limited dining, some general purpose space) - its certainly the location that contributes more to the price IMO. Al in all, good option for now.

Nice dining and common areas, indoor spaces, grounds, a good deal of space, nice social activities. Pet friendly.

Our tour was good, but limited. Because of Covid, everything was still shut down so we couldn’t go in anywhere the residents were. The main contact person was amazing. The director was good but very upfront. He told us you leave here either because you die or you run out of money And we didn’t want to be moving our loved one again.

I liked this place and would definitely consider if we could afford it. The staff was very nice and very welcoming. I liked the apartments and the homey atmosphere. Very close to home. Catholic priests come regularly. Lots of nice activities.

The corporate management company doesn't seem to listen to the people who are working there. It seems to me that there should be a nutritionist or dietician, somebody involved in cooking the food so it's healthy for an aging population. As it is, there's too much sugar and salt, which I think is because they offer too many choices. However, the management at Greeley Place itself is very reactive, gets on things very quickly, and takes care of any issues. The staff is wonderful. It's a lovely apartment, they come in and clean it, and my loved one is very comfortable there.
