Nice community but not a good fit for mom. Every place is a little different so advice would be to try to tour several places before choosing a community.

Even though it was Apartment building or motel building style it was spacious and well organized and inviting. Some concern for the property sits right on Colo. blvd

Overall pleased with the service and care my mom gets here. No major complaints. Friendly and attentive staff-well kept. Restaurants at the grill and formal dining room are very nice.

Very nice - clean and comfortable feel. Staff appeared friendly.

My sister, [name removed], did not like the room configurations. She wanted a single unit, like an apartment. Did not want to share the bathroom.

Sunrise was lovely. I loved the decorations on the wall which made it a very cheerful place. I love the fact all residents are on one floor level. I loved the country look with fireplaces and comfortable seating in the common area for residents. They had a great schedule for activities and I met many staff members. I really liked it.Their shared rooms were two separate rooms but they shared the bathroom which was in a little foyer to the left outside of the bedroom doors. The foyer was big enough to put a small sofa and a couple of single chairs.They have skilled nurses in the AM and CNAs and Med Techs in the evening and night hours.

Facility clean, staff friendly and welcoming, residents engaged, basic apartment room sizes small. Overall nice place but move in fee was pricey.

My father and step mother moved into the Quadrangle in December [date removed]. Tragically my father passed away seven months later. In his brief experience, he was generally pleased with the Quadrangle. My step mother remained there living independently until last year, when she relocated into assisted living. On the whole, she has been satisfied. I enjoy coming to visit, and the place is visitor friendly. With few exceptions, I have found the staff to have been helpful and very competent. Just one suggestion, I think there should be a larger (and cheaper :-)) place for guests to stay overnight. Every time I have tried to make a reservation at the Quadrangle Bed and Breakfast it is booked up. The Quadrangle is a quality place.

Small rooms. Breakfast and dinner. Assisted Living and Memory Care. Outings Too distant for easy visiting by family and friends. $4800.00/month for 800-900 square ft/ No entry fee.

A very nice facility, Sunrise living offers a well planned and well rounded variety of services and activities.

My mother has been at Brighton Gardens just shy of a year. Upon entering we were met with loving and caring staff members. Anytime I enter the facility I am greeted by happy employees. I find the facility clean and upbeat at all times. I feel like my mother gets the attention she needs at all times. Recently my daughter got married in Texas and I was concerned that all family members would not be in the area. I was reassured by [name removed] that if there was any emergency she would personally be with my mother ! It is a hard decision where is the best place for a loved one. For us as a family, Brighton Gardens has been great.

Wonderful staff, friendly and attentive. Very clean establishment, well run, employees new all residents names when passed in a hallway. Menu look good, more of a at home feel. Lots of Frank Sinatra playing! Rooms were nice size and had kitchenettes.

The facilities were very nice but the staff was a little loud.

Place was very clean. Great daily activity menu. Many people were involved in activities. Rooms were nice. Social areas were welcoming. Dinningroom was comfortable. Parking lot was full so we had to park down the street, which was a setback. Staff was friendly and very easy to talk to.

My mother has lived at The Jefferson for a number of years. It's always a big transition at first and she tried to bolt for the first six months. However, she now says that it's perfect for her and she appreciates all the services/amenities/staff. I commend the management for being creative, responsive and in-tune with geriatric study. The activities are way over the top -- can't even list everything from exercise to outings to games/lectures...so much. Staffing is always an issue in this type of living, but there is a lot of stability and many staff members go totally out of their way to know residents and offer a smile...many many. She was very worried about the cost -- seemed like she was paying a lot per month compared with her expenses in her own home. However, when you look at all you get for the cost, even she agrees that it is a great value for her.

Newly built. Very clean and a friendly staff.Rooms are small . Seems like residents are friendly, too. Not fully occupied. Offers many activities. Would like it to be closer to northbrook or Glenview.

Met lots of staff...chef, maintenance, memory care coordinator, operations director... all pleasant. Due to the delay of the tour, I also met several residents who had been there for a variety of length of times. 2 said food was not that great. All had no complaints. I liked the size (50 apartments arranged as two smaller communities). No openings at this time. Cost was said to be on par with [removed]. Recommended [removed] for their mother if no openings at sunrise. Model of sunrise used but others for cuddling facilities. Staff seemed to be there for awhile. Only staff who was not great with interacting was a med tech working the front desk. This position would interact directly with dad on a regular basis. Could be a problem. I failed to ask if staff could be changed if not responsive to dad.

The sales person is a bit interesting. It is very difficult for us to understand their "point" system. It seems like they are going to bill to what the insurance will pay. It felt more like a sales pitch than a caring visit. The property is very nice, and in a terrific area but we are choosing elsewhere.

This is a very nice facility in a great area. We liked the open community and dining area. Everyone was friendly and freely shared information. The apartments were all updated.There is not a lot of outdoor area.
