Our family had an in person tour and it was a very nice tour, we would of had no problem moving our loved one here. It seemed like it was the best staffed community out of all the ones we toured, but it was just to expensive.

If you have a friend or family member that needs assisted living I for sure recommend this place for your loved one. They are very caring, and if you have someone that needs more care than normal they are not quite there yet and would have to supplement it. They have nurses on staff but it is not like a skilled nursing facility.

Sunrise of Jackson is excellent. the day we went in for our first meeting with them to tour and see the place, they had a welcome sign for me and my brother. when we left, we both walked out with a freshly baked apple pie. I mean they really roll out the red carpet for you. between myself and my brother, we were there almost every day visiting so we had a lot of interaction with the staff. there were a few things that kind of fell through as far as communication goes on their end, but they made it right. I would highly recommend this community. all the staff, from the director to the people you walk past in the hall like the maintenance guy, they all know everyone by name - both the residents and their families. it was definitely a good place for my mom to go. every time you visit, you'll feel like you're apart of their family also. when you walk in and check in, they have a photo of those who have passed all set up. it's definitely a nice place and if I had another mother, I would send her back there!

This was a really good solution for us and our loved one. The staff were very friendly and helpful with us and our needs. We did a virtual tour and everything went well with the tour in the beginning. They were clear with everything in regards to registration.

The community is very clean and the staff members are super friendly. We find the care to be a little to high at times and we do wish the cable and TV was included with the rent but it is not so that is what makes is a little expensive. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

This community was very nice and top notch but you for sure pay for it, they also did not have memory care. We toured during covid and could not see much.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was wonderful, the followed the appropriate precautions regarding covid. We had a fabulous brunch, and the people were wonderful. However it just did not feel very inviting or welcoming just from a physical standpoint

Good community, not the right fit for my loved one.

We chose Sunrise of Johns Creek because of the level of care they provided, she needed a Hoyer lift and they could provide that. We also really liked the overall atmosphere. The memory care unit is very open and bright with a lot of natural light which makes all the difference in the world. The facility is very clean and they are in the process of renovating so it will be very nice when it is all done. The staff seem to be very experienced and compassionate towards the residents, they are not just doing it as a job, they truly care and that shows. I would absolutely recommend Sunrise to others.

They moved in during Covid, and there weren't any activities going on at the time. But now that those restrictions are gone, there are still no activities going on, other than taking residents out for a walk if the weather is nice. But my biggest complaint is - it was a really hard landing. They didn't really acquaint us with how things worked and how best to communicate with the staff and what to expect as far as transition for my loved ones. It required me to be constantly calling them to get information. I thought there would have been an orientation for the families. And I thought I saw in their material that there were family meetings they hold periodically. But none have occurred yet. On the other hand, the place is very clean. I feel my mom is very safe there. My stepfather loves the food. My mother not so much, but she was pickier even eating the food I cooked her. The biggest thing was that hard landing. We've also had some billing issues that took over two months to resolve. But that has gotten resolved now. Would I recommend people put their parents here? Absolutely. You can rest assured that your loved ones will be well cared for. And that has taken a huge weight off my shoulders. But I hope that they can develop some sort of orientation for the family regarding how things work and what to expect. And I would also like to see some improvements in their communication.

It is a friendly atmosphere, right when you walk in there is laughter and comradery amongst the staff. It is just a warm and cozy community. We are glad we made the move it has been a good one, and the gal in charge of overseeing the care is very responsive. However i think there was a little disconnect with the sales presentation. Our loved one is receiving really good care but we thought there would be some sort of app that we could see that would log their daily care routines - like when our loved one received their medicine, when they were bathed if they had to be. They do have an app with their social events which is nice.

The people have been great.

Aspired Living was a very nice facility. It is a bigger facility that had multiple levels to it. We were looking for something a little smaller that was on one level. There was nothing wrong with it at all, it just did not fit what we were looking for.

Most of the care givers and other residents here are really nice. The activities director is awesome and really good to work with but I do wish at times there were more activities that I would be interested in. Sometimes they do not have enough care givers here so the response time is slower, that could be a big improvement. I also wish they would listen to the residents more often at times.

It had more of a hospital like feel to it.

The staff are excellent; however, there is not enough of them. The community opened their doors during COVID, and the pandemic has been difficult to work with in Connecticut. The community is beautiful, brand new, and it looks like a hotel that is well maintained. The staff are great to work with if the family has questions or concerns. There is housekeeping, room, laundry services, and meals that are included in the monthly fee. There can be additional fees for medical care. The community has been able to assist with medication management, one person assists, bathing, and sometimes hygiene care. Some of the activities they have available are live animals brought in, entertainers, games, and more for the residents to choose from. The food is excellent, it would be better if there was more variety for the residents to choose from.

I would recommend you look to see if this would be a good fit for your loved one. The staff are really good to work with. Due to the pandemic it seems that there is some shortage of staff. The housekeeping has moved to every other week. There are washers and dryers in the building for the residents to use on both floors and free. The room, cable, electricity, and housekeeping are included in the monthly fee. The food can be delivered colder than I like it. Some of the activities available are bingo, movies, field trips, games, poker, and more for the residents to choose from. The community looks for feedback from the residents. Transportation is available through the community if the residents need it.

This has been a good experience. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This is after a short stay so far, I can say. My loved one went in and didn't panic, and it went seamlessly. The community is able to assist with bathing, feeding times, medication management, hygiene, and getting to appointments on time. There is a monthly fee and another fee for the actual care that is being received. The community offers dietary restriction accommodations.
