This is a clean and secure community for your loved one. I would recommend this community. However I would watch the cost and make sure that you go in with an understanding of what the cost is going to be.

This is a nice location. There has been a lot of turnover of staff and this might be due to the pandemic. My loved one didn't particular like the food options. The community wasn't always able to accommodate dietary restrictions.

They were very attentive at this community and answered all of my questions. This community was not bad but we just liked the other community better.

Our family had an in person tour and the amenities were lovely, they had nice big rooms but no built in kitchens and it was much more expensive. -

I think for what I am paying, my loved one is not getting the care that we were supposed to be getting. I know they are short staffed so that is playing a part in it. The portion sizes on the meals are small, I think they could give the residents more. Overall I would still recommend them, they just need some improvements.

Sunrise of Decatur was just too expensive.

I'm very happy that my brother is here. I think it's a very good facility, and I've been talking it up to people that I know. For my brother's needs, its very good as an independent living facility, and it's well maintained. I'm glad they finally finished repairing the porches, which was a major undertaking. The holiday celebrations seem to be very nice. I don't know that he takes advantage of as much as he should, but I know he's going through some things personally. The interactions I've had with the staff have been good. Considering the pandemic, I think they're doing very well with activities. And I think it's a good value. The one thing I was disappointed in is at dinnertime, I think he's at a table by himself, and I don't know if that's his choice or not, or if anyone is encouraging him to be sitting with others.

We are grateful to the team at Sunrise Fox Hill for a very warm and caring environment. The facilities and services provided were first rate, and worth the high cost. It would be ideal if the services of a resident MD and/or trained nurse were included in the package. Also, the variety/quality of the meals provided could be improved.

Our family had an in person tour and the community director was very engaging, and we could see residents participating in the activities. However the visitation hours was such a hassle, you had to go through so many loops holes just to get into the building and if people weren't there to let you in you had to sit and wait.

Our family had an in person tour and the activities director gave us the tour and we were kind enough to meet the chef whose mother was there so that was a nice point of view to listen to. The location was undergoing renovations and the memory care unit was the last on the list which is why we chose against it

Our loved one really is enjoying the meals and dining and usually the activities but right now those have been stopped due to covid - but the staff members are taking very good precautions. It is good value for the money.

It is a beautiful community that is very organized, structed and competent. It shows that they know what they are doing. They have activities for the residents to participate in, and they even opened up the assisted living activities for my loved one.

There is never a place that is good enough for mom, but we believe that they are doing their best with the lack of resources they have

Some of the staff members are friendlier than others towards our loved one, and it is a great value for the money. Sunrise is very close to our family which we live, the room is amazing our loved one is very happy with it. She was able to decorate it so it feels more comfortable and like home. Somethings they can work on is the consistency with the laundry and emptying out the trash - occasionally our loved one gets skipped. Overall we are very happy with where she is.

I would recommend you pay attention to the fee schedule and make sure the way the increases are implemented. The communication with the staff is good on resident's matters.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were good about checking in with us, and I thought the staff did a great job with my dad.

The individual house keeping could use a little bit of improvement and some of the staff members could work on their compassion.

I encourage others to come join us at Highland Trail. The friendliness and love that is given and felt here stand out to me. There are options to choose from for meals. Some of the activities available include: exercising, outside entertainment, bridge, chess, and more to keep us engaged.

They were very good and they did a good job with my mother. My loved one was not there for long but while she was there they were good to her. They also came out and re evaluated
