Sunrise Senior Living

My father is very happy at sunrise of North Hills. The staff members there are very loving and that gives me so much peace knowing he is well-taken care of. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The size of Sunrise was most appropriate for my dad. Large enough for socializing and various activities, but not too large that would have been overwhelming. The Care Coordinators are very kind and provide excellent care. Sunrise is able to provide the higher level of individualized support required to meet my father's needs in an assisted living environment. I would recommend Sunrise of Providence to other families looking.

I would recommend them to other families. We picked this community, because it was a good location, and it allowed her to keep her cat. Also it was a reasonable cost.

My family and loved one have had a good experience with Sunrise. Everyone is friendly. The community is clean when we visit our loved one. The biggest plus for the family is that we feel comfortable having our loved one here. My loved one said we couldn't have picked a better place for them and she loves being here. We would recommend you check out the community to see if this would be a good fit for your loved one.

The staff is very pleasant at Sunrise of North Wales. They have gotten to know my father well - including his habits. Communication with the family is good. They get back to you within 24 hours. No problems with housekeeping. My father's room always looks clean. They have new furniture in all of the public sitting areas. My father's room was freshly painted and new carpet before move date. The meals are my only concern - meats are dry. They do have several food options for each sitting, which keeps my father happy. My father has no been too involved with the activities, but based on their monthly calendar there is always something to do. I would recommend Sunrise of North Wales to family and friends.

Expensive, but staff is attentive and friendly. Lots of in house services such as physical therapy. We picked this community, because of the location of the room, previous experience, and amenities.I would recommend to others.

Overall, we have had a positive experience at Sunrise of Wilmington. The leadership team really cares about their residents and the quality of care that they provide. They take concerns seriously, and investigate them thoroughly. They are also willing to spend the necessary time to speak with the resident/family and decide the best plan of action for care. A minor place for improvement would be the responsiveness of the care staff. Sometimes the wait times get a little bit long. Also, Mom has some cognitive impairment, and she may not fully be aware of her options for dinner or activities. Some of the staff will help clarify that for her, which is fantastic. Others perhaps, not so much. As for the food, I have heard complaints from other residents as well as my Mom. I have tasted the food myself and it is amazingly bland. In some cases, they make food far too spicy, and yet it is still tasteless. Many times the rice will be crunchy and hard. This is the one place where I think things could really be improved. The quality of the ingredients seem reasonable, so I think it is just in the preparation. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our family had an in person tour with Sunrise at Bon Air and even though we did not pick it for our loved one, we still thought the tour experience and community was nice.

My mother is a resident at Sunrise of Lincoln Park and the experience has been very good to great so far. The friendliness, staff, and care are all great! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I would recommend it as overall I feel the care is good. I liked how Sunrise was laid out. Also many of the apartments had been updated. They had a 2 room renovated Apt available in a good location. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Also my Mom has not been able to really bond with any of the other residents. Most have some degree of memory loss and my Mom is still alert and very sharp. Many of the activities are too "basic" for her. They did provide her with an art class just for her. She attends Sunday mornings and paints on canvases with acrylics. She is a very talented artist.

We toured Sunrise of Cherry Creek when searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. The facility and tour were good. However, the facility just didn't have the right feel for us. The population felt 'old,' not enough energy. Not a good fit for our loved one.

Our experience is only based on less then a month before our loved one had passed.

The facility is beautiful as well as clean. Staff is very nice, helpful and friendly and try their hardest to do all that's expected of them and beyond. Corporate Sunrise would be wise to pay their employees a higher salary and offer better health benefits to attract more employees to lessen the load on the existing staff....

Our loved one was not there for a very long time so it may not be the most accurate feedback. She was not able to get involved in the activities, however the community had a homey feel to it and we would recommend.

My 92 year old father temporarily stayed with them for about a month. Overall, our experience at the facility was good. Staff were friendly, encouraging him to be involved with onsite activities, and available to patiently communicate with him. We would utilize the facility again.

Sunrise of Sunnyvale gave us a great tour and everyone was very nice, but based off of what we saw we just did not think like it seemed like it would be a good fit for my loved one and what we were looking for.

The staff here is incredible! They're very attentive to your needs. When it comes to the activities -every week they have entertainment. We play games like dominoes and poker. They have exercises every day. They also have movies, puzzles, wine tasting events and so much more!

The thing that sticks out the most about this facility would be the staff. The staff seems caring and friendly. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Newton to other families who are searching for care for their loved ones.

The staff is informative and very kind to the residents at Sunrise of Lincroft. The activities and the house keeping could be improved. The kitchen where the residents eat is worn and dated. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We toured with Sunrise of Lower Makefield and we liked the sales person. But the facility was older and reminded me of [facility name removed], which my Dad didn't like. But out of all of the places we looked, they were probably our second choice.
