I think the food is probably as good as any facility but I am a picky eater and don’t like any spice in food. I gained three pounds, however, so I got ample food. The caregivers were great and have a lot of patience with some difficult people. I liked all of the staff who I had interactions with. My biggest complaint was that the week’s menu was supposed to be on the wall of the elevators but was not always up to date and changed at the last minute so I couldn’t plan what to have ahead of time if I couldn’t eat the entree for that meal. As I said, I’m a picky eater with some allergies. But over-all I was happy living there. Since j didn’t require nearly as much care as many of the people there, I’m not able to comment on it but people in wheelchairs seemed to be happy so I assume they had good care. I was happy that a podiatrist came one day to cut my toenails. There was a woman who came once a week to the hair salon and cared for hair. Lots of people enjoyed that including me.

Sunrise at Garden Park is a good place to live, Most of the staff is very personable and caring. Great friendly feel as you walk in the door. All in all a good safe home for memory care and assisted living.

I found that Administrative staff contact was always initiated by me. Cleaning staff, nursing staff are EXCEPTIONAL. Let me not forget Dietary and Client Care staff...exceptional. Room sizes are great. Amenities are great, housekeeping, laundry. Activities, can use some variations. But to their credit new recreational staff have been hired

We chose Parkwood Estates initially because of the cost compared to other places we looked into. They have recently been bought out, the new company is trying to improve on the food. I would recommend Parkwood to others.

The community is great the day staff are awesome the night staff are terrible. The facility and day staff were awesome.

The nursing staff were very caring and concerned about the patient. The staff that operated the place were very friendly, helpful, and supportive. I highly recommend Sunrise of Annapolis.

I personally don't think they have enough nursing staff. Dad was not always kept shaved etc. As is always the case, there were a few aides who were fantastic. I liked the setup of space and the way it felt more residential than hospital!

All of the staff are extremely helpful and caring. They keep me well informed of my Mother’s condition. My Mother is given 2 choices for each meal, food is presented on yellow plates to promote interest in eating.

The admission process, orientation and level of care give us confidence that our father's needs are being met. Life at Sunrise is safe, fun and rewarding.

My brother had a cva in Feb 2024. He need d memory unit . Very pleased with his placement . I is more expensive than we were previously told. We are fortunate to be able to afford this but I could see it as a deterrent to many people.

Everyone is helpful and welcoming. The food is fairly bland to meet multiple palates and diets. The soups are very good.

The place is great! Unfortunately my mom’s health took a quick turn and she needed to go to skilled nursing. She was just starting to get her groove there, sorry it wasn’t meant to be. Would recommend for more independent people.

Building and apartments are beautiful and well built. Nice location on golf course and mountain views. Activities are top notch. They struggle to keep help, so maintenance is not responsive and dining has to be buffet and not sit down. Buffet for people with walkers is not ideal. If they were able to adequately staff (and the labor shortage is everywhere), it is a great place.

Stratford Court is pretty lively... People are fairly social in the common areas. Facility is well kept and issues seem to be handled reasonably quickly for the most part. And staff is almost always cheerful even when they can't accommodate

Mom passed away the end of March. But I did appreciate all the help she received when she was there. Most of the staff is very compassionate. And management always there if there was a problem.

Very professional and helpful staff. Given the cost, I wish there were a bit more activities/outings, and I wish they provided some driving services to appointments within a certain radius. But overall it has been a good experience so far.

The staff is awesome and the building is clean. The food is my mothers main complaint. She wishes they had more items to her liking and larger portion sizes

Overall the facility is good and the staff are very friendly and seem to know my family member well. They aren't very communicative when it comes to care plans, updates, and medical information. The onus is on the family member to stay on top of the communication.
