Staff are caring, respectful, helpful, and friendly. The food is good, but not worth the price for a guest. The menu is rarely accurate. If I call and leave a particular staff member a message. I would say I get a response back 20% of the time. You have to keep calling back or find another way to connect with that staff member and even that can be difficult. Rarely do all the activities on the calendar happen. They are probably more expensive than they need to be. Sunrise could use some improvements to make it better, but I think we are really lucky to have found this facility. My priorities are theirs and that is the most important thing!

Positive experience overall, most of times short staffing is an issue. Staff try to do their best, wait time sometimes is long after calling for help. Meals order and serving times are not consistent, probably because of staffing. Meal request due to food allergies on orders sometimes not respected.

Overall experience was a 4, Cleanliness was a 5, Friendliness of staff was a 5, Meals and Dining was a 4, Activities although plentiful, was 3.5 ( my dad was on Dementia ward) so tough to rate), Value of cost 3.5 ! Place was great, but was not fully explained about overriding charges ! There were plenty of add on costs, that put pressure on his ability to afford to stay there when they determined he needed aides to watch him sleep and just sit in his wheelchair !

My dad is in memory care and I’ve found the stuff to be very caring and attentive. My dad’s laundry, room and hygiene are looked after and the staff keeps me updated. If I have any negatives to report they would be 1. no walk-in shower with seat. 2. The cabinets and faucet in the little kitchen area are in poor condition. BUT most memory care apartments don’t even have a kitchen space, and my dad’s apartment is very spacious! So.. I’m not complaining.

I have lived here five years going on six years. I love my apartment!!!! It’s comfortable and a view of the mountains that is gorgeous! It is the right size for me and I moved from a three bedroom home in Albuquerque.

The caregivers are very kind and patient. Food service is slow and inconsistent, often run out of menu items. Food quality is fine. There's a lack of things to do after dinner. Mom says it gets boring in the evenings

The Marketing Director, [name removed], was amazing in helping me choose Sunrise of Chesterfield for my husband. She went out of her way to accommodate the necessary time frame and handled every possible detail that arose. She has a terrific personality, was very efficient, and made the entire process less stressful for me.

They could improve on activities by having a more formal program to keep their residents engaged. However, the best things are the staff are very good and really take care and pride of taking care of their residents

It’s has been a journey and only with hindsight can we see that this was a good path for mom. Sunrise is the right fit as its community / family atmosphere feels like a home. The employees are extremely responsive and while adjusting to living in assisted living has taken a long time for Mom, she’s happier each day.

Overall Sunrise gets good marks. My husband seems to be doing well there and looks forward to returning after an outing. Staff gets accolades for being compassionate and energized.

Except for the high cost (<fee removed> a month) I have found nothing wrong with Sunrise. The meals seem very good. The staff has been so nice. Just very expensive.

The staff has been attentive to the changing needs of my Dad and I feel he is in a safe, warm environment at Sunrise New City

The rooms are very nice and large I guess I would say that they do well with communication. They text or call about once a week with updates for me. They had an in person meeting with all the caregivers and myself to go over how she was adjusting and explain changes in her needed care

It is a nice facility with kind and friendly staff. Our loved one likes the food as well as the variety of activities

Staff is excellent, meals need more variety, also housekeeping is not the best when it comes to the bathroom. The care staff encourages my mom ex;(to walk with walker, not stay in wheelchair) they know how she likes certain things at bedtime or how she likes her pillows stacked or need made. They have little talks with her and they treat her like she is their mom. The bathroom toilet seems to need cleaning and same with her bathroom floor. I haven't spoken to them yet about it, I usually wipe things down when I am there which is 3-4 times a week. The only other thing is the menu. It has a lot of fish every other day and somewhat repetitive. But I understand, it's healthier for them. Just my mom isn't a big fish eater. But don't get me wrong, this place overall is worth every penny!

My mom has been very happy at Brighton Gardens and the staff has been extremely attentive and helpful. Her health has declined since her move and the people there have responded well, offering additional support and making sure she feels safe and cared for.

I thought it was a nice place, But my mom didn't like the food. We picked this place because of the location.

What we like the most about Quincy Place is that it is clean and activities for my mother to do. Based on the experience we have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Moving to assisted living is a daunting task for all involved. Our family is thankful for the kindness and care demonstrated throughout the process. The staff and atmosphere are welcoming and kind. Activities are available throughout the entire week and residents are encouraged to participate and build positive connections. We highly recommend!
