Sunrise Senior Living

The staff is great. My Mom speaks very highly of the housekeeping staff, the dining room staff, and especially the concierge. The move in process was performed by my family and an outside company. The apartment was in good shape for the move-in process. My Mom is a picky eater. She will not eat everything, but likes what she chooses to eat. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Plano.

I have lived here for a little under a year now and it has been very nice. The staff are very nice and I enjoy talking with them. They are very helpful and willing to get me anything I need. I really like [name removed] and [name removed] because they are very patient and kind. The dining staff is also very nice and helpful. My favorite meal is dinner, where I love to have chicken, mashed potatoes, and just about any type of vegetable.

I am new to the community, but am settling in well. So far I have come to find out there are a variety of personalities in the community and it is more about finding the personalities you connect with. I have met a few residents I can get along with a talk to during meal time. The staff is very nice and respectful thus far. I really like [name removed] in the dining room. I like the variety in activities offered, but my favorite activities have to do with moving my body and getting exercise. I like the morning exercise classes and I want to join in on walking club, but I might have to wait until the weather gets warmer. I would also like to be involved with gardening if that is something we could do in the springtime.

I really liked the care I received at Westtown. The associates were all very loving and took great care of everyone. It was well run and took all the associates wants and needs into consideration. The activities were very organized and planned with all patients in mind. All likes and needs were well thought out.

The staff at Brighton Gardens are remarkably caring both in assisted living and in memory care. Staffing is much more stable than at any other senior residence in the area based on the other facilities I’m familiar with. I have recommended BG to many people.

Visited [date removed]. I found the establishment to be clean and smell pleasant. Also greeted with friendly smile and helpful staff. My mom was slouching in her chair and called the staff to help her sit up they came and were very helpful.

They overstate how much care they can provide. My mom was on the floor yelling for help for who knows how long because she forgot about the button around the neck. People need to be able to manage pretty much on their own

The living quarters she has are sufficient for her needs. The ability to bring one of her cats with her. The proximity of the facility to nearby shopping, dining and other options. The location is equidistant to my residence and my sister in law, we are her primary caregivers

Of all the places visited this place was best as not too big and not too small. It is a nice community where residents and staff all feel like family. Able to age further with care here compared to other places I looked at. They have assistance equipment and residents can have hospice care. Care good with a few hiccups why only 4 out of 5 stars. Great food and dining staff. Monthly resident feedback meeting. Variety of room sizes and configurations. I was able to get Floorplan of my room and layout my furniture to know what I could bring. The pricing structure is not as granular as I would like, but not as nickle and dime as other places charge. Nice to have weekly laundry service. Housekeeping and linnen laundry once a week. Free 15mbps Wi-Fi. I opted for my own 1Gbps network through the cable company.

Friendly place and welcoming.

Place is great little pricey. Staff is very nice and does what’s needed. The crowd here is older and the staff is great. There are nice activities here and the food is okay. There are different things to do and eat everyday. Parking is sometimes annoying but it’s overall good place.

When I moved here 4 1/2 years ago the ED was very stable and she had an answer to every question I had. Since she left there is no consistency on that position anymore. The staff are very helpful and do their best to provide the services that we need. The community is clean and the environment is very homelike.

My Mother has flourished at this community since she moved in to Sunrise in 2020. The regular staff have been very attentive to her needs and the assisted living services have been just what she needed.

It,s good to have company and not be alone. The food is good including some of my favorites. I have had great help with some of my computer problems . It was really good that this type of help was available.

Outstanding care and kindness. In particular, the Reminiscence caregivers' care and compassion and love (yes, love) for my mother was beyond wonderful. It's hard to put into words. My mother was in Assisted Living for 4 years and Reminiscence for 6. Sunrise of Flossmoor was truly her home

The community itself seems quite nice. My father is enjoying meeting other seniors and feels safe and comfortable.We moved in and it took a week to get info on how to hook up his cable service and no one could tell us which day his cleaning service and laundry service would be. My dad picked it. It wasn't and still isn't my first choice.

My father was a resident of Sunrise for just a short time. He needed a lot of care and the staff at Sunrise was phenomenal. They were very caring and talked to him instead of talking around him. They treated him with respect and told him what care they needed to give to him so he understood what was going on. They bantered with him and said goodbye to him when their shift was over. They cared about him. They also were very kind to my mother, who was scared and overwhelmed. It was a good place for him to be.
