The place is very clean, the staff is attentive and very caring. The food is good and overall living experience is good for someone who requires assistance with daily living. they are amazing

Very kind very helpful great food in the restaurant. My mom isn't wild about a lot of people, but she actually likes hanging out in the common area. Need more activities that are for able-minded people like trivia, etc.

The staff there was very helpful to me as the family member looking for placement for my sister and the staff there that actually worked with and for my sister were consistently kind and caring with her.

My mother would prefer for the good Lord to take her, so she does not use her call button the way she should — which has resulted in several falls. Because of that, the staff put her in a higher tier of care with more regular checks. They are always upbeat, saying my mom is their favorite resident despite the fact she is pretty grumpy all the time. And they have gotten to know her routines (such as when she usually needs to go to the bathroom). Their ability to observe their residents’ habits and anticipate needs to avoid accidents has been the most impressive aspect in my opinion. That kind of care costs a lot more than when she moved in, but the peace of mind is worth every penny. They are taking great care of her despite her stubborn nature. They also do their best to try to get her out of her room because all she wants to do is sit in her room. On that, it’s been a mixed bag. But they keep at it and are trying to get her to come around and I hope she might actually find some moderate joy in community at some point. It’s a wonderful community with the friendliest and most professional staff from the front desk to the nurses and aides to the administrators. Sunrise of Vienna was the first place suggested to us by A Place for Mom. We visited other places, but I’m so happy the first one suggested was the best.

Everything 5 except 6 - food. What we like the most about Sunrise of West Babylon is the very friendly community and staff. My mother was a good cook so she does not like food. I don't know how they can improve the food

We have been very happy with Sunrise. Memory Care is set up in a sweet way with daily activities at the center. Big effort put on getting everyone ready for the day and not returning to bedrooms until well after dinner.

We are very happy with Sunrise. The only thing we think could be improved is old be the orientation. It was not clear that the meals in your room were extra charge or how the laundry and cleaning system worked. The cable is also something that could be a bit better but since it’s included it’s hard to really complain too much. But the staff is really helpful and they have a lot of activities to keep people involved!

When the previous facility wouldn't take her back after she fell out of her wheelchair, Sunrise made arrangements to have her moved and got her a different wheelchair and all the equipment she needed.

The faculties and staff at Sunrise Sr Living take the time to get to know your resident. They find ways to connect with them, that are meaningful. The facility is clean, and well managed over all.

Great staff. Very interested in the clients. Small facility that leads to a familial type atmosphere. Overall good experience and I would recommend. Possibly more variety on the food would be good. Although my mom LOVED the homemade soup and primarily had that everyday for lunch along with red wine. She got her breakfast delivered and had an omelet most days, lunch was in the dining hall bc she usually went to exercise class and then got wheeled down to lunch. Dinner was back in her room but it didn't look very appetizing some days. Overall breakfast and lunch were fantastic

The facility is beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The staff is very good. It takes a little while for the different workers to get to know what each resident needs. My mom has been there for a year and she likes it. The cost is expensive but for now it is worth it as long as she is healthy enough to enjoy the amenities. If she gets to a condition that needs more individual health care and she can't participate in the activities they offer, we will have to move her.

Sunrise is a nice facility, clean and homey. The staff are wonderful. They really took good care of my Mom until her passing. And they were really nice afterwards too.

I work for a psych hospital and I did an in-service with the staff of the facility starting with the administrator on down to the marketing department and the people there were so nice. The facility was clean. It looked like [name removed] had his staff well groomed. The chef there was cooking at the time I was there and the food was excellent. The marketing director [name removed] was great at giving me a tour of the place and talking about the facility and what it has to offer very knowledgeable of his product and again [name removed] seemed like he had such a great boss to employee relationship, and I was very impressed with the overall camaraderie amongst the employees.

The staff are all very kind and helpful ! The cleanliness of the facility, not far from our home, and there was no Odor in the building!

Sunrise of Palos Park is a Very well run Assisted living facility. Very friendly. The staff knows all the residents..

The facility is well maintained and bright. The staff engages the residents to participate in activities. Overall, Brighton Gardens feels like a home where loved ones are cared for.

Beautiful decorations and yummy food for Mother’s Day! Everyone was so friendly to us and even offered us Mimosas and chocolate treat bags. My mother has been enjoying her time here and has also made many new friends. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Toured the facility with [name removed], and he explained in detail the care, programs, and amenities available to its residents. The level of knowledge and compassion shown for the residents was completely perfect. The true value is not just in the services offered, but in the sense of belonging and quality of life that many seniors find there.
