Sunrise Senior Living

Lakewood Estates has everything that an independent senior could ever need. Meals, laundry, house cleaning and so many activities. There are shuttles to get out and about town. There are so many active seniors in this facility! It's an older facility but it's kept clean.

The initial contact was a care pitch rather than a sales pitch. They took the information from a place for mom and considered it. They came up with options as I needed a place for Dad as well as Mom. Staff consistently friendly and helpful. Took the time to figure out the best way to communicate with Mom in memory care. I don't think any care home serves great food. It's fine and a resident can always ask for something and it will be accommodated. There is no lingering odor which you find in some places which is probably a reflection of cleanliness.

My need was emergent. They provided what we needed. I would recommend to others.

The administrative staff is really great. The restaurant service is... Less so. Food is not great, they ask for modifications but then you get what you get. Serving staff wasn't as interested in making it a great experience

Beautiful facility and apartments. Staff are very friendly; especially, [name removed] who showed me around. Grounds are well cared for and easy to get around. I really like the ability to stay in same apartment even as one might need more advanced care services. Part-time nurse available on site. Remodel up shared space will be complete next month ([date removed]). Some apartments have wrap around patios w tremendous views of Sandia Mountains.

I am so happy I got my Mother in law at sunrise-the staff is just so kind-she is always clean and well groomed whenever I come to visit-her room is perfect-the entire area for memory care patients is always neat and tidy! Outside gated garden area is beautiful and we enjoying sitting out there. I can sleep at night knowing my mother in law is being well cared for. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise.

My mom has been there for about 7 weeks and she is adjusting to it and has surprisingly become a little more social as well. Of course we just have to get used to people don't do things the way we would do it but on a hole we are very happy with the decision of going there and my mom felt comfortable because she used to work there as well.

The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. I feel like my mom is in the care of good friends not hired staff. Yes, we would recommend Sunrise of Cherry Creek to other families based on the experience.

Very impressive. Care is a priority. Looks good and seems to be a caring staff. Nice dining options. Rooms are nice and roomy.

My tour guide was very helpful and answered all my questions. The staff was friendly and genuinely looked happy to be there.

I was not able to tour the facility, but the staff member I spoke with was very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The reason I did not take the tour was because my aunt needs a place to live in Hampton, Virginia, rather than Richmond, Virginia. Although the location was not the right fit for her needs, I appreciated the time, kindness, and assistance that were provided.

Sunrise was a lovely community where residents seem to enjoy their surroundings and the care they are receiving. My brother and I look forward to bringing our mother to visit.

5 across the board except food 'service'. The community of residence and staffing are wonderful. However, the food service just needs better staffing. Food was good. Mother misses living there.

All 5'd accept for value for the money! I'm actually currently looking for another place because I cannot afford almost $[removed]a month. However, we enjoy the staff and the community is clean. They need more activities. I am there probably five days a week and that's the biggest complaint. I hear from the residence because I sit with my mother and all her friends that there's nothing to do they have the same thing over and over.

My husband and I were given a tour by [name removed]. The facility is amazing with numerous amenities. All of the staff seemed happy to be working there. We were very pleased and look forward to having our loved one stay there.

Most of the staff are very helpful in the daily care of my sister and our main goal is to continue her regular physical, occupational and speech therapies which are all done in house so no outside trips are needed!

What we like the most about the community would be the Friendliness of staff. Cleanliness. Willingness to work with family to create individual care plans customized for each resident. Yes, we would recommend Brighton Gardens of St. Charles to other families.

I love the facility and the people I met were very friendly. I’m not sure if it is the place for me though. The price is pretty high and you won’t consider Medicare payments. I haven’t made up my mind. Thanks [Name removed] for showing me around.
