What I like the most about the community is the Security and comfort

The building, location, food and apartment all easily deserve possibly a higher rating. The staff we've met so far has been attentive and engaged. Our Aunt is still integrating into their routine and all seems to be going smoothly.

Provided support whenever needed and we would recommend Sunrise of Richmond to other families.

We were preparing my father for hospice and the admin staff was wonderful onboarding and allowing the family to tour the facility. They were very friendly and caring during a difficult time

Over all experience is 5 stars mostly because the staff is amazing. They are kind, considerate, and caring. They treat the resident with so much respect. The facility is very nice and clean. He seems to like the food. He has a small room, but he is on the memory care floor so he has no use of any amenities. I have never seen a better facility. They make it very homey.

My experience is 1.5 years ago. Very nice facility yet very, very expensive. Every month there were additional unexpected charges. I suspect financial difficulties? The folks working there are wonderful. The staff was to notch. I liked them very much.

This is a bright, happy, well- maintained space. Listed as independent living, one can add home help and nursing staff located on site, or as one chooses from outside sources. Parkwood does support aging in place. However, if lots of nursing is needed, it might not be the right fit. But shorter periods of care have worked out for us. (Several months v long term. There are many daily options for things to do. And a bus for individual needs. Parkwood's one drawback are meals. They have been improving, but do take a long time. Pick up and room service are available. Food is a 31/2. Yes! I would recommend!

It was a pleasant visit. The people were friendly. The rooms were a decent size. It was evident a remodel had taken place.

The facility is welcoming beautiful and clean. I met with [Name Removed] who was wonderful and went above and beyond to help me find placement for an agi g aunt. Thank you!

Our mom didn't stay long because she was closer to the end than we were aware of but all of the staff were wonderful!! The facilities were very nice too.

All 10s, if I could! Brighton Gardens was the best choice we could have made with and for my mom. They are everything any family could be looking for The director, [name removed], went above and beyond for all of her residents. Every staff member, from sales to service, would routinely function in multiple roles to support and advocate for all residents. They purposely connected my mom with residents they knew would match her energy, have lots of things in common, and bring out the best in her during this difficult transition. They made a very hasty move go smoothly, and solved problems I didn't know how to. Their medical staff are patient, kind, and thoughtful. Many of the doctors she needed came to the facility so she didn't need to go anywhere else. They had great activities and really cared that she was making connections with people and her interests. When she passed away, only three months after she moved in, she had made three incredible and fast friends that they arranged to transport them to her funeral. I am so so incredibly grateful to them all.

The visit and tour were very good - [name removed] was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough in her explanations. They were able to show us multiple room options. While the tour was good we don't feel this is the right facility for my Aunt.

Very warm atmosphere. Observed CNAs helping residents in a very caring manner. Incorporated all residents in as many activities as appropriate. cnaS trained by the Alzhei n et's Association plue state required continuing education. RNs on staff. Many of the staff initiated conversations with me. Displayed photos of CNAs with longevity at facility. Pet friendly. Military discount and displayed military related residents on wall.Allowed to keep doctors and go to hospital of my choice.. Wide variety of programs which were very engaging.

Very friendly and professional Attention level for my mom has been great so far Room is decent sized. She has only been there a couple of days but the amenities seem great

The facility was beautiful and very clean. [Name removed] welcomed me warmly. She took me on the tour explaining every important aspect in detail. Then I met with [Name removed] who invited me into her office, so I could ask questions. She answered all my questions patiently without making me feel rushed.

Sunrise at Glen Cove was a clean well-maintained facility. The woman who met with us [Name Removed] was very nice and knowledgeable about the facility. She was very positive about living there. The age of the population who live there is a little older than what I am looking for. The building is in a nice area and it appears it would be nice to sit outside in the warm weather.

I believe I've already completed a survey previously. The facility is beautiful and seems to be a wonderful option. [Name Removed], who we met with, was so kind and gracious, patient and helpful.

What we like the most about the community is the staff, they were responsive and easy to work with. Yes, we would recommend Sunrise of Columbia to other families.
