The staff is very helpful and caring. Lots of activities both at the facility and off site. I do think they could offer more variety on the food menu.

The facility is very nice. Most of the staff are very nice. Like anywhere, some staff people are conscientious and others are there just to get paid. They have a good program to get the residents involved. Although they possess a higher license than most senior facilities, they are limited to what they can do. If you require additional assistance, you will be required to hire an aid to look after your parent, which bumped the monthly fee up from $[fee removed]. You can go through money very quickly.

Sunrise of Raleigh is one of the few places that offers a Hoyer lift. They also retain their staff very well. I highly recommend this facility to others.

The staff have somehow found success getting our very reclusive family member to participate in facility activities on campus and with community outing. The helped her transition to memory care in a relatively seamless fashion.

Sunrise of Holbrook is very clean, and smells good. Apartment is kept tidy and clean by housekeeping. The staff has been quite the best of this experience. They are willing to go above and beyond, know my grandparents personally, are always making conversation with my grandparents and "hanging" with them. They accommodate their needs and beyond. Care given is great. Medications received on time. Wish there was a little more communication about issues/medical updates. My grandparents biggest complaint is food. It's not lack of choices, it's flavoring and consistency for the most part. My grandmother also complains about the heaviness of all the dishes. Filled with activities, very different and accommodating to different holidays/worldly events. Abundance in a day which is wonderful. Staff make this number higher. The place itself lacks updates and needs a revamp. It would be nice to see some of the income used a little more for residents (redoing the rec area, updating.

I liked their flexibility - for example, they were ready to accommodate people who wanted to live with or be visited by animals, as long as reasonable measures were taken. They also were willing to cope with my sisters, quirky, dietary issues. I especially liked the aides and other staff who saw my sister regularly. it was clear that they liked her as a person and were willing to go above and beyond to, for example, have dinner with her, or to bring her a little gift or treat, or sing with her.

The only issue I had was understanding the invoicing system. Although I think that was a corporate issue and not related to this location. Based on the experience we have had so far, I would absolutely recommend Brighton Gardens to other families.

First rate experience if your loved one has to be in an assisted living and or memory care unit. Dining first class and facility is clean. Friendly and loving staff. The one negative like similar facilities is that they nickel and dime you.

Sunrise is nice, but it might not be for your loved one. My mom just didn't like it

The furniture in my mom's room should have been moved when the room was vacuumed. Staff should have helped her with keeping the kitchen sink clean. My MIL couldn't stand and take care of the few dishes that she had. They were very nice overall, but there were a couple of aides that were rough handling my MIL. She was afraid of retaliation and generally didn't speak up. The nurses were great! I like the new director. She seems to really care about everyone. And she has a lot of energy. We wonder if an oxygen machine with a higher concentration level would have been helpful? If you are helping someone with COPD, find another place. Meals/Dining - Options were available, but my Mom missed having fresh fish. She wasn't happy with one of the chefs. Also, some folks have IBS and need a low fiber diet. There's room for improvement. Lovely activities director, but some of the residents could have used more challenging activities. More physical therapy options would have been helpful, too. And, the place needs a visiting dentist and audiologist!

Clean friendly welcoming place and relatively newly built. Rooms are a nice size too. Midsized facility so not so big but still having enough activities to keep her busy and happy. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to others!

They have made my dad feel at home and are taking great care of him

There did seem to be quite a bit of turnover. The people that stayed longer term were super nice. I do think they could have offered a wide variety of food choices for the residents and less repetition. She liked it a lot in the regular part of the facility. The more urgent care part not as much

The rent at Sunrise of Severna Park was increased three time within the first year, which is why we moved out.

Residents and staff are very friendly. Not here long enough to comment about improvements. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

Their strength lies in their medical staff. RNs were amazing, they did not contract out for medical care. That was their big plus for me. I felt my mil was in great hands as she needed lots of medical care not just assisted living.

Sunrise of Annapolis is so expensive. Transportation is only provided on Wednesdays for doctor's appointments. This has been a big added expense. I do overall recommend it.

I would say that the facility and the staff are very warm and inviting, and we liked the overall feel of the assisted living facility.

Medical care is excellent medication management almost excellent. AIDS very helpful with people that require considerable care. Cannot complain about people that will clean you if you poop yourself and you have physical problems even if you do not. However in some places if you are wheelchair bound they will roll you down to meals and back to your room. They do some but a lot people do them selves. Some people they really need it they do. The executive is excellent and care manager is hot. However place gets a four because the attitude of some aids are is not customer oriented. It might because they are overworked but you would think they want to make the customer feel welcome. They would make the you think they want you to stay not make you feel maybe like you should go to a different company.Its a business you want to make you happy not miserable. You think the aids would help each other out it’s not my job it’s hers even if you’re talking on the phone for half an hour.

What we like the most about Sunrise of Dublin is the cleanliness and some of the staff are so caring and we would recommend them to other families based on the experience we have had so far. Sunrise of Dublin takes such great care of our Mom. Any concerns or questions, they are quick to answer. Very clean and caring community.
