What we like the most about the community is that it is not too big, has a cozy environment, and the staff members are friendly.

Staff are excellent, friendly and caring. Food is good. Clean and welcoming environment. Price is high. Room size and layout is good. Small resident number results in few open spaces to roam but all rooms feed into a common dining and activities area. Well landscaped but limited outside areas to walk. Had a couple of problems getting bills mailed to the correct desk but administrative staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Overall a good experience. The activities are limited by the small resident number.

I liked Sunrise of Willowbrook, except the lack of a private bedroom. The one bedroom is more like a studio. There is no privacy for the bedroom. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Very convenient location.

I visited and toured the facility and was impressed with the kindness and knowledge of the sales staff. They were very clear about pricing and what was included. The public spaces are very homey, not super fancy, but nice and what I would describe as comfortable and home like. Sunrise is uniquely situated in a very accessible area. Residents could walk to coffee, a small grocery, and a pharmacy to make a few places, as well as the bike path. The residents rooms are more institutional than some other places, feeling like a dorm room or suite versus an apartment. If a resident was more active I think the pros of the accessibility would be more important than the more institutional living quarters.

I can't really comment on the value for cost because I'm not paying the bill, my mother is (his wife). However, what we like the most about the community is that everyone is so friendly & willing to help. I like that it's small, not overwhelming. We would absolutely recommend the community to other families.

Staff are very good. They get to know your family member and help acclimate them to the facility. Try to keep them involved and active.

It was nice, though small and felt dreary. The staff was very nice. Unfortunately It would not be a good fit for our Mom and we are going to pass on this facility. The rooms felt smaller than other facilities in the area. The building seemed older.

What we like the most about the community is that it seemed very clean and decorated nicely. Yes, I would recommend Sunrise of Sandy to other families based on the experience so far.

Nice facility (similar to one our grandmother was previously in) The staff was friendly and seemed to have some tenure. Tour was helpful - our only concern was location (a bit farther south than other facilities) and they were a bit more reliant on the Rehab facility to lay out the work plan compared to other facilities we toured.

The staff is friendly and the facilities are very good. The extra charges seem high. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

The daily activities are amazing! The number, length and variety. The activities staff enjoy their job and it shows. It makes the days very enjoyable. There is something for everyone. I don't how to be more clear.

I think the caretakers are great. I appreciate that I am always informed as to how my Mom is doing. I would recommend to others.

They are so kind and helpful. The facility is clean and kept up. They only offer the same continental breakfast every day. And then only 1 additional meal lunch or dinner. And if they go to dinner the men must put on long pants. Sometimes it's difficult for an elderly person to change their clothes twice a day. I could understand a collard shirt, just seems a lot to ask of an elderly population. If this is their home they shouldn't have to dress for dinner. I know sometimes my dad won't eat because he doesn't want to change. Them eating and their nutrition is too important to miss meals because of that.

My husband and I toured Sunrise and it was an enjoyable experience. [removed name] answered all of our questions and even gave us lunch. The menu gave us a lot of choices - all good. The building was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms were a good size and the property is beautiful. I would recommend this facility for Assisted Living needs. My husband would fit in well here as he needs more help than I do. I need an independent living facility.

The only thing I would warn any family moving into a memory care situation, which we were not quite prepared for, is that many of the residents are suffering from more that memory loss. We found a fair amount of mental disorders in the residents on the memory floor, that at first were quite shocking and disturbing to my mom and us. The staff has done a good job of mitigating this by teaming my mom up with appropriate residents, and she has learned how to navigate the population better herself. All that said, I don't know if this is a common problem, we didn't notice this on our tours to the extent we should have, but something to consider or at least be aware of.

The staff are wonderful. The only issue we had was that the rent went up once we finally had an apartment available. Overall my mother-in-law is very happy and adjusting well. Again the staff are to be commended

They have done a wonderful job taking care of Mom. Their experience bring confidence. They see person as an individual and get to know THAT person. Very happy with our decision to send my mom to this facility!

[removed name] was very professional and answered all questions. However I did not like the layouts. It did help me to determine that I am better off with a studio than a 1 bedroom. Being on oxygen, one unit was way too far from elevator for me to ever be physically able to use the other facilities.

I believe that they're trying, there just isn't enough staff and she's had constant issues with her pendant when calling for help. We'll most likely be moving her elsewhere; she'd like to give it a couple more weeks. She always keeps a positive attitude and is grateful but there have been too many issues. Yes, I would recommend, as long as the new resident has an advocate (I wish everyone in a vulnerable physical and/or mental state had someone who could advocate for them), the staff is good, the administrators seem to truly care but things have still "fallen through the cracks."

The visit was thorough and answered my questions. The facility is well maintained and decorated with many nice touches. Our tour guide was open, helpful and proud of the facility. The financial responsibility was well explained.
