Staff and place was fantastic! Had my mom lived I would have had peace knowing how well she was taken care of . Community so great!!

We actually moved our loved one out in [date removed]. The assisted living area is nice and bright and she really liked the food there. There were a lot of daily activities and nice level of attention to manicuring and grooming. However, the staff hiring qualification was questionable. The memory care was darker and our loved one hated it down there. The memory care staff were not as attentive and the management was not so 'family' friendly.

I gave number value for cost a lower rating mainly because this whole thing is just extremely expensive, we pay $[removed]a month. She's not in memory care or anything like that. She's pretty much self-sufficient. I think the thing is well managed very professional atmosphere. That decor is really professional looking as well. I think some of the meals could be a little bit better basically have one meal choice every meal everything below that is the same every night.

My mother really enjoyed living there. The rooms are big and lovely. The nursing staff and kitchen staff were very friendly and caring.

My wife passed away almost 2 years ago, so changes might have been made in that period. When my wife was there, it seemed to me that there was a need for more on floor aids or staff. The aids that were there did their job, but they were very clearly overworked. It appeared that they were at their limit trying to keep up with all of the people in need. They had a laundry schedule but hardly ever kept with that. My wife constantly ran out of clean clothes and she had a lot of clothes there. I suggested to the management that they should hire a person that did nothing but the laundry and help with the serving of meals. (They had 2 washers and dryers on hand, but 1 one of them was broken for the whole 4 months that my wife was there.) When I suggested to the management about that hiring, I was told that the people on duty could handle the laundry. They appeared to not be open to suggestions.

What we like the most about Sunrise of Cinco Ranch is the staff friendliness to my mother and them alerting to any problem. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I know my parents are safe and well taken care of at Sunrise. My mom's physical and cognitive needs are met and overall, they are both happy there. [name removed] like to see the quality of the food improve.

Sunrise of Parma is an attractive and well maintained facility. Liked the small intimate atmosphere. Food quality better than most other assisted living facilities. Aids were generally helpful but some were not very attentive. A lot of turnover which is probably normal for the industry but care could have been better considering the cost of this facility.

My friend was at Brighton Gardens. She was ambulatory and did not need any skilled care except for her meals and meds. At first she seemed to enjoy the various activities but as her dementia got worse she retreated into her room. The staff was very kind and attentive, tried very hard to get her to rejoin the groups to no avail. Brighton Gardens was exceptional in its décor, cleanliness, cheerfulness of the staff. I would not hesitate to recommend it to someone who need assisted living.

I would recommend Sunrise. The staff was very caring, food was decent, kept things picked up.

Staff are caring, respectful, helpful, and friendly. The food is good, but not worth the price for a guest. The menu is rarely accurate. If I call and leave a particular staff member a message. I would say I get a response back 20% of the time. You have to keep calling back or find another way to connect with that staff member and even that can be difficult. Rarely do all the activities on the calendar happen. They are probably more expensive than they need to be. Sunrise could use some improvements to make it better, but I think we are really lucky to have found this facility. My priorities are theirs and that is the most important thing!

Positive experience overall, most of times short staffing is an issue. Staff try to do their best, wait time sometimes is long after calling for help. Meals order and serving times are not consistent, probably because of staffing. Meal request due to food allergies on orders sometimes not respected.

Overall experience was a 4, Cleanliness was a 5, Friendliness of staff was a 5, Meals and Dining was a 4, Activities although plentiful, was 3.5 ( my dad was on Dementia ward) so tough to rate), Value of cost 3.5 ! Place was great, but was not fully explained about overriding charges ! There were plenty of add on costs, that put pressure on his ability to afford to stay there when they determined he needed aides to watch him sleep and just sit in his wheelchair !

My dad is in memory care and I’ve found the stuff to be very caring and attentive. My dad’s laundry, room and hygiene are looked after and the staff keeps me updated. If I have any negatives to report they would be 1. no walk-in shower with seat. 2. The cabinets and faucet in the little kitchen area are in poor condition. BUT most memory care apartments don’t even have a kitchen space, and my dad’s apartment is very spacious! So.. I’m not complaining.

I have lived here five years going on six years. I love my apartment!!!! It’s comfortable and a view of the mountains that is gorgeous! It is the right size for me and I moved from a three bedroom home in Albuquerque.

The caregivers are very kind and patient. Food service is slow and inconsistent, often run out of menu items. Food quality is fine. There's a lack of things to do after dinner. Mom says it gets boring in the evenings

The Marketing Director, [name removed], was amazing in helping me choose Sunrise of Chesterfield for my husband. She went out of her way to accommodate the necessary time frame and handled every possible detail that arose. She has a terrific personality, was very efficient, and made the entire process less stressful for me.

They could improve on activities by having a more formal program to keep their residents engaged. However, the best things are the staff are very good and really take care and pride of taking care of their residents

It’s has been a journey and only with hindsight can we see that this was a good path for mom. Sunrise is the right fit as its community / family atmosphere feels like a home. The employees are extremely responsive and while adjusting to living in assisted living has taken a long time for Mom, she’s happier each day.

Overall Sunrise gets good marks. My husband seems to be doing well there and looks forward to returning after an outing. Staff gets accolades for being compassionate and energized.
