I enjoyed my visit. Everyone was friendly. The place is very clean. I like all the activities they have.

We tell everyone that is looking about how great the staff, community and residents are here. They offer a variety of activities and plenty of them for those that want to participate. When I visited I was having fun and wanted to move myself in. The community really has a like home feeling. Everyone is family here and it truly feels that way. I did get a chance to eat dinner with my dad and I have to say the food was just great. They also have a couple of community pets, like a very kind black dog that they have just walking around playing with the residents and they have a couple of birds there as well. Very happy and pleased with this community and would highly recommend it to anyone looking.

We chose Sunrise because there was plenty of staff around. The staff is really engaged in their jobs and the residents. If they were walking by and saw someone slouching in the chair they would actually go up to person and check on them not just assume they were sleeping or ignore it all together. It is a lovely community which has really good smelling food. My mothers favorite part seems to be a chocolate chip cookie that they have, she is always raving about it. They also have community pets so it is very nice and helpful to the residents. We visited 9 other communities and biggest reason we chose it was because she will not have to move if her condition gets worse.

We visited about 5 total communities and when we visited Emeritus we just loved the staff, loved the location and just fell in love with it. It seemed like everything just clicked for us we would give the friendliness of the staff 10 out of 5. The staff just genuinely cares about its residents and if you have to move in to a place like this then this is the place to be. It is really just a god send we would highly recommend it to anyone. The other communities were not back but Emeritus just stood above them.

Lively, colorful, cheerful atmosphere with activities geared towards individual resident's needs. Emphasis on getting to know patient's likes and dislikes. Staff seems very up-to-date on dementia care. Support meeting offered.

My husband & I felt this would be a perfect fit for my mom. Loved the wrap-around-porch,outside area,rooms were a good size.Decor would appeal to Mom. Jennifer gave us a great tour & feel for the place. Having the two little dogs in the lobby area was the perfect touch!!

The reason that mom and I choose “Sunrise” for her was mainly because of the proximity. The location is close enough that I can come to visit mom. There were other places closes but “Sunrise” had the best price. They seem to have a lot of activities but mom doesn’t really like to take part in them though, she likes to be left to her own piece and quite. The people are really friendly and the community is clean.

I choose “Sunrise” because of how clean the community was and how friendly the people are. The food is good to haven’t had any complaints.

Sunrise at Sterling Canyon is a remarkably well-run facility. All the staff from management to food services to maintenance, grounds, and custodial are friendly and very helpful to the residents. I would highly recommend this facility for its high quality of services and helpfulness. Their activities schedule is full of variety and interesting things for the residents to participate in.

We chose this community because it is two and a half miles away from our house it was really important to have my father in law close by. He did not want to leave California but once he moved in he gave it 9 out of 10. My mother was looking at properties with me and agrees this was a great choice for his situation. We had visited a lot of bad properties and are happy we did because that just shows how much better Sunrise of West Bloomfield is in comparison. This community is truly amazing. The building and furnishing are a little outdated but it gives it a feeling of the good old days. He is currently in a semi-private room, with no occupant, while we wait for a studio to open up. The staff is very passionate and it shows that they really enjoy their jobs. It is a small community of about 40 residents where everyone just seems to know everyone first name. We are very happy with our decision.

I chose this community for my mother because out of the three locations I looked at Sunrise of Schaumburg really stood out. Kim was a very nice lady and was really helpful. They sent two nurses to my mom's house to see if it would be a good match and make my mom more comfortable. The entire move was handled by Sunrise and they made it very easy. It is a nice community and everyone is super nice. My mother has a really nice view of the lawn, which is very well maintained. There are nice benches to sit and talk with plenty of shading.

My mother really likes the place. Of all the places we looked at it was the best. Its “TOP NOTCH”!!

I loved the staff, I am now torn over my decision. G is young and the residents at Sunrise our old, the same is true for Alden but they have less residents so it is less obvious. The staff at Sunrise are all amazing and the ones I felt could do the very best in caring for G. The price is perfect.

I was very impressed with this whole facility. It is not cheap but you get value for your money. A Place For Mom was very helpful in figuring my mom's needs and setting our expectations, our options were narrowed down to 3 facilities. I was handed a book about senior care that was very overwhelming and I didn't know where to begin. I would also give Jane a 5 for all her help. I am amazed at how good and professional the staff is at Sunrise.

Provision Living was close to where my mother was living before she moved her, so that made the transition easier for everyone. We really liked the facility when we toured. One major factor in choosing Provision Living was the distance from mom's apartment to the dining room, it took her ten minutes at the old facility to get to her meals now only takes her one minute. It's smaller and more intimate which is what we prefer. She has not used their Care Services or Activities yet.

My mom and siblings toured a few places before discovering Sunrise of Jacksonville. After living on her own and finding it lonely, our mom chose a community with fabulous activites and a more social environment. She is going on trips with Sunrise, taking aerobics classes, she's just so happy with where she is. And we are so happy that she is happy! My siblings had not toured any place like Sunrise and were convinced all they would find were nursing home-like atmospheres. We are so happy to have found A Place For Mom and Sunrise of Jacksonvile, I'd gladly give a testimonial for both any time.

I was in a crunch, the assisted care where my mom was living was way too expensive so I contacted 'A Place for Mom." Donna contacted me with several options and it was an amazing experience. The reason I choose the Sunrise Senior Living of Haverford was it's five minutes away from my house and I really liked the vibe I got when I visited. I saw a couple other communities but this one felt the best. My mom just recently moved in so she has not had experience with the activities or care services.

loved it from the get-go; lovely place, friendly people; we would love to live there and my mom would, too. Price could be an issue, but we hope not.

I liked this place the best so far. Also went to the Bristal in Lynbrook. Maria was fantastic, the building was clean and bright, residents were out and about, there's plenty to do and I liked that it was small. I look forward to visiting again as I make final decisions. I can really see my aunt comfortably living and growing old here.
