Sunrise Senior Living

I would recommend this community to others, for independent living. They also have home health aides on site with Home Instead. The activities include bingo, card games, line dancing, and more for the residents to choose from. The food is very good with a good variety of it. The service time can be a little longer than expected, and take about an hour. The dining room is nicely laid out for service and creates a nice ambience. They are pet friendly here.

The interaction with the residents and the feedback from [name removed] has been great, they are really good with communication.

It' s a great place. My mom loves it. Actually, she's a totally different person, for the better. She's more active, and she's made a lot of friends. She's just a lot happier. One complaint, they do tend to run out of certain foods sometimes. But she loves her apartment. Hers is on the first floor, which works out great for her.

I would encourage you to look at this community for your loved one. The staff are willing to work with the residents and encourage them to participate in the activities. The staff try to get preferences of food for the residents; however, they sometimes can't get the food the residents want due to constraints for the pandemic.

I had a good overall impression of the community. The staff who led the tour were knowledgeable and had answers to all of my questions. We looked at both Sunrise locations in the area, and they were both very similar, but Sunrise of Randolph was larger. Nothing wrong with that, we just liked the other smaller Sunrise location a little better.

Our experience overall has been good. Whenever I have a question or concern and call and leave a message, they get back to me by the end of the day or sooner. Anytime my friend has had a mishap, they called me immediately and let me know. I always know what's going on with her. I don't have to call and ask. They proactively let me know. My friend tells me the food is very good to excellent on the whole. She's not been able to participate much in the activities, but the Activities Director is a terrific person, very caring, and I always see her talking to and interacting with everybody.

The food looks good and they have a good variety of options. They have lots of activities available for the residents to participate in. they have a library and a nice common area. They have a nice outdoor area for the residence too. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

The community is very nice and in a very nice area. The community is very neat and clean but it is very expensive. Most of the staff are very helpful but remember it's not a nursing home. I would recommend this community to others.

Our family has been very pleased with the care services our loved one has receiving since moving in. The food is very good, they get choices at each meal time. Our loved one loves the food and even our family that has been able to visit, they say the quality is great. The activities are coming back, they have games and exercises classes. The outings have been taken away for now, but should be coming back soon.

I like the community. The people were so friendly, helpful, and fantastic. The only issue I saw that the community was dated, and could use a renovation. The residents were more in their rooms, and the activities didn't seem as visible as other communities we visited. This was my second choice.

The community is very homey and comfortable. A home-like environment and the staff is very friendly and kind. The food is not very appetizing and really needs to improve but I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

I'd tell people to come on in. You'll enjoy it. They have plenty to do, and you can be as active or inactive as you want to be. Right now we keep to ourselves a bit. We like to read and watch TV, but we also enjoy visiting with the neighbors. It's not a perfect place, but almost. This is the best managed facility we've lived in. The staff are very helpful. Housekeeping comes by once a week if we need anything done, but right now we take care of everything the way we want to. They give us three meals a day, and it's pretty darn good. I like the quantity and the variety. They have alternates if you don't like some of the options. I think today we had five different things we could choose from. So I'd say they do a fine job. To start with when we moved in, I didn't think it would be enough food. But I've come to find it really is enough. And I'm a complainer, so if anything was wrong, I would be complaining. Compared to where we've came from, Highland Trail is outstanding. We got everything we wanted and needed, and we feel it's fairly priced.

The value for is excellent, however they could use some improvement when it comes to their response times. Sometimes when our loved one pushes her help light button it can take 30 minutes to an hour or even longer for someone to come and assist,

The community was very good to my loved ones. the staff knew who my mom was and the community has a family enviorment. The receptionist is wonderful and they had one on one care for my loved one. I would recommend this community to others and already have

The people that work here make it great. It is a small community and the staff know all the residents. We love it here. My loved one doesn't care for the food. The food comes up cold due to the pandemic. There haven't been a lot of options for the residents to choose from.

The community is a clean and good-smelling place. Communication is good when it comes to important general info but it could improve with the day-to-day info. I would recommend this community to others and have already have done so This is a great community for independent seniors and will keep them busy and active.

It has been a good experience for us. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly. There are times where I feel pushed around and don't always have a response to very few of my emails or calls. Everything has worked out as food. [name removed] has gotten my loved one down to the gym and the staff have helped my loved one get stronger. The environment that my loved one is in is a huge plus value wise for us.

We chose Sunrise of Lower Makefield because we had to move him in a hurry because his level of care was increasing and they were able to provide the necessary level of care and had availability. The room sizes here are very generous. The staff have been super with communication, we get an email every week with covid updates. This is the 3rd place my father has lived and it is by far the best. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Due to the covid restrictions the residents have not been able to experience and eat in the dining room, but what stood out to us in the beginning was how friendly the staff members are.

I would recommend the community. The people seem nice, and professional. If there is something bad that happens, they make sure that all staff is available to assist the families and residents. They go above and beyond for the residents.
