Sunrise Senior Living

We have been very pleased with our experience at Sunrise at Holladay so far. My sister does say that she likes the staff members here and the cleanliness. She is also pleased with the activities that they provide. We are very happy that she was able to keep her car and she was able to bring her kitten as well. I would absolutely recommend, it has been a tremendous relief for our whole family.

I would recommend you go out and look at this community. There were a lot of activities available for the residents to choose from. The community worked with me and my loved one during the transitions of care for them. During the pandemic they allowed hospice to come in and nurses to work with my loved one. The staff was very kind to me and my loved one.

I would want others looking into Sunrise to know that the decor and appearance of building is excellent, it is very very nice and well kept. The responsiveness of the staff could sometimes be better, but given the circumstances I know it is a difficult time. Overall, I would recommend.

This community has a music room, and before COVID they would bring in someone for entertainment which our loved one really enjoyed. She did not like the food they served, however we would recommend this community to others.

The concierge staff are excellent, and our loved one says she enjoys the food they serve. The rooms at this community are nice and comfortable, and we would recommend Sunrise Of Leawood to a family or friend.

The coziness of the community really stood out to us, it is very homey feeling and well taken care of. The food would be a about a three in a half out of five, and the rooms are excellent. Our loved ones room is spacious, clean, and when it comes to the decorations it is not over the top.

We chose Sunrise of Decatur because they had a higher staff to resident ratio due to it being a smaller community. I also had good interactions with the staff members in person and by email. The size and layout are great for his needs. The room sizes here are adequate for what he needs. He said that the food is hit or miss. My dad is self sufficient, so he does not need a lot of care. If there is something that he needs that he has to wait for, it won't be a big deal. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Sunrise of Annapolis because I was able to get her one of the 3 bedroom rooms and a shared bath as well as a common area. It worked really well for her. The food was acceptable but we were not excited about it. The organization has a set food supply, so it is pre-determined. The cook does not have the action to choose the options so it limited his creativity with the menu. My favorite part about this community was that it had quite a few people who were mentally savvy which my mother also was, so she had things in common with the residents. The other thing that worked well was that we were able to move her possessions in here, so she was using things that were familiar and that she was comfortable with. I would recommend this facility, they were very easy to work with and they wanted to please. My biggest issue was when my mother slowed down, they wanted to diaper her and keep her in bed and she did not want that. I think staff should have checked on her more and also gotten her up into a chair more.

I would tell my friends that they took really good care of my loved one. The community is made up of good people and they are willing to help out the residents. They are friendly, caring, and responsive. I would recommend this community.

We visited many facilities and chose Sunrise of Annapolis because it was a clean and attractive setting. It also was a great location for us as well as we really like the director. He is very genuine and wants the best for your family member rather than just trying to sell you something. He is always available to talk to if there is any type of issue. They do a wellness exam and we feel they were very attentive while doing so. My mom loves the caregivers here and trusts them and they are very attentive to her and her needs. Our experience overall has been very good.

Mom has thrived at the Greeley Place, looked a long time found the best place for her. She likes the food and the staff bends backwards for all the residents . no cases of Covid what more do I have to say , thanks

This community for elders is a wonderful and inviting place. They always have an activity that the residents can get involved in. The fact they have meals cooked for them is a plus! Everyone is always in a good mood and very professional and ver helpful!

My mother has lived in the Greeley Place for four years and she loves it. They have lots of fun activities that she enjoys and the staff are warm and friendly. We feel good knowing she is in good hands!

With two aging parents in two separate facilities I can say that Sunrise at Pinehurst is TOP NOTCH. Sunrise came recommended to me by several people and it is easy to understand why. As with any effective organization, it starts with strong and consistent leadership and a willingness to learn from mistakes and strive for never-ending and constant improvement. The concierges are professional, eager and competent to help answer any question or facilitate any need request. The care team consisting of managers and nurses have always been approachable and try to handle residents’ needs in a timely manner. The activities staff has pivoted and gotten creative to provide enrichment even given the current pandemic. Maintenance is quick to respond and goes above and beyond. The dining room staff keeps them well nourished and even does extra to celebrate holidays. My questions, concerns and suggestions have been taken seriously and handled appropriately. It comes from the top down. These employees really do care and address the emotional, physical and mental well-being of their residents. Before the Covid pandemic hit we would pop in almost every day. To see how this staff treats ALL of the residents has been impressive to say the least!

Overall experience with Lakewood Estates has been good. However, I am speaking on behalf of my mother who a resident. She is appreciative of the services. Since Covid dining in has been eliminated. The food in the past has been an issue. Hoping they worked out the kinks - many complaints last year. It is difficult when short staffed. I believe the new management is working hard to satisfy the residents needs at this time of pandemic.

I have lived at Greeley Place for almost 3 years. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, Greeley Place has been stringent about following guidelines from their home office as well as local authorities. Due to this diligence we have had NO cases of the virus in our facility. They have taken care of the building, our food, and the well being of the residents. I’m grateful to be here.

Quincy Place has a great staff. Competent, Friendly, Caring. With COVID-19, precautions have been taken to keep us safe. The concern for our health has taken priority. Most of all I am grateful and appreciative for our General Manager, [name removed]. He always there to attend to our concerns and resolve problems that occur. He always friendly and accessible. A great asset for Quincy Place.

Sunrise of Crystal Lake is a wonderful senior care community. My father moved into Sunrise February 2020 from another much larger senior community that wasn't providing the daily care my father required. The management and staff of Sunrise of Crystal Lake is top notch compared with the other facilities I visited. I am very satisfied with my father's daily care and I highly recommend Sunrise of Crystal Lake to any family seeking a professional and truly caring community for their senior family members.

Sunrise staff consistently show respect, patience, humor and compassion in their relationship with my father and all residents. The environment is homey and a community. My father has found renewed meaning in his life and we view Sunrise staff as part of our family. The director goes beyond what I would expect in terms of engagement with residents and working to maintain quality of care.

We chose Sunrise of Crystal Lake after my husband had been at another Sunrise for 2 years. My sisters immediately agreed it was the right place for mom. It is a bright, homey, clean facility. There is always staffed with smiling, helping caregivers. But most importantly, mom is happy there. The staff is always communicating with family. Individual update calls are received monthly. We also receive letters from mom's caregivers that mention their interaction with her.
