Sunrise Senior Living

The staff are good and very caring. Most of the time, the food is real good. We chose this community because of location and availability. We like our apartment, it is small, but that is what we wanted, and we have plenty room. I would recommend this community to others.

The overall cleanliness of the community is fine. The interactions we have seen between the staff and the residents seems to be very genuine and they really do seem to care about those that live there. The times that I have been to the community, they always seem to be doing some sort of activity and the activity board always seems to be full. Definitely a good value for the price. Compared to other communities in the area, the cost is pretty good.

it is a really well run place, They do try to form relationships with families and the residents. The caregivers are all lovely people and they really care for the residents. I would say that there all all in the right profession. Sometimes, there a little lack of communication, but its very small. I would tell other families that you should not expect it to be one of one care but at Sunrise you will know that your loved is safe and well cared for.

When I used to visit my aunt, the community always looked clean and they did a good job with that. The staff did a great job with my aunt's care, especially towards the end of her stay. Even when she was on hospice, the community staff was great about making sure she was comfortable and even brought the house dog by to keep her company. We really liked that they had a dog and cat on site for the residents to interact with. The management staff always went above and beyond to make my aunt feel very comfortable and at home. They even went to my aunt's house when she was moving to reassure her. My aunt liked the activities, especially the live entertainment. The food was hit or miss; my aunt loved the soup.

My mother is in the memory care at Sunrise. The staff have a lot of patience with the residents. They treat them very humanely, like real people with respect and dignity. We chose Sunrise because its location is close to our family, the manner in which the staff shared information with us during the tour, and that they offer different price points not just" one size fits all" pricing. You do need to be an advocate for your loved one and have a presence in the community. Also, you need to maintain a connection with your loved one's outside healthcare providers. I like that I am able to visit the community 24/7. Sometimes, I swing by to tuck my mom in bed at night. The food is good and they offer a basic menu with two entree choices at each meal.

Sunrise locked down the community very quickly due to the virus. They have a good staff but I feel the lock down has put a stress on the staff. We considered a number of factors in our decision making process, not just price. My mom’s overall care was our major factor in choosing Sunrise.Of all the places I have seen, I think Sunrise has the nicest layout. It is on a nice piece of land. They have nice outdoor space. It is a good size. The common areas are open and inviting. They have communicated consistently and effectively with our family.

The pro is that they really do take the time to individualize the care for my mom. The con is the add on charges. If my mom does a craft it is an extra $7. They have a variety of food choices. In the memory care unit they know what the resident liked to eat and serve them accordingly. We were working with a very tight timeline and they were able to accommodate us and got my mom in quickly.

My dad moved in on Wed and passed away on Friday. He came from a rehab facility that we as siblings felt was less than great for him. Although it was only for 48 hours we were so glad to move dad to Sunrise. My brother and I met with staff/hospice on the first day and were greeted with such professionalism and compassion. The day Dad passed away when I asked for information from staff they responded quickly and beautifully. All members of the staff helped me out , whether they were personal care aides, maintenance staff or the nurses on duty, it was just such a wonderful experience. When Dad died, they handled things swiftly but compassionately. They even tastefully suggested we could move Dad's things out whenever we needed too and ultimately we were refunded a great deal of the money we had paid them for the month. I am very glad Dad spent his last days at Sunrise.

Thanks to a Place for Mom, Sunrise Senior Living of Lower Makefield, was a God send. Could not have a better place for my Mom to be then here. It a perfect size and the people that work there in EVERY ASPECT are just great. They all seem to work together and really take wonderful care of the residents. I would highly recommend Sunrise to anyone. Please keep up the good work and please, to the higher ups, appreciate everyone that works there. You have a good thing going on here. I had to move my mother here b/c after she fell and broke her hip, she wasn't able to take care of herself anymore. The facility is clean and nicely decorated. Has a home-like feel to it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming every time I go to visit my mother. She seems to be well attended to by staff. They seem to really care about the residents. This facility also let me mother bring her 2 cats with her (as long as she is able to care for them). We have a paid cat sitter coming once/day to feed and do the litter b/c my mother can't quite do that. My only complaint is that you have to stay on top of the bill to make sure it is correct (and you aren't being overcharged or they didn't charge insurance for things they should have) and I've had to reach out to schedule the "care meetings" that are supposed to happen monthly b/c no one ever called me to schedule them. The have good activities for the residents and overall I would recommend this facility.

The team at Brighton Gardens has been fantastic. My mother moved in about 6 months ago and is doing very well. Everyone that we have come in contact with has been so caring. From the sales team, to the executive director, to the front desk and the girls that care for my mom. I cant say enough good things about Brighton Gardens.

Very caring staff in the Arlington, MA facility. Facility's upkeep and maintenance is acceptable-not great-but the staff makes up for it. They showed concern for my aunt when she had her physical issues and compassion for her mental issues. Communication was prompt and timely.

My father did not want to go to a care facility, he is 90 and had lived on his own (with family help) in a condo prior to September. Sunrise looks so nice and the staff are so very cordial and helpful and patient that he gradually went from unhappy to accepting to then really feeling happy and like part of the community. Only took about 3-4 weeks for that process. He's been there about 3 months now and really loves it. He is socializing and communicating with other non-family people much more at Sunrise. Not that he is ever going to play Bingo (well, maybe!), but they have lots of other things going on: trips to restaurants and church, holiday singers and bands come to visit, different kinds of food treats on different days. And if you feel like staying in your room most of a day, that is fine too. My father likes the meals a lot most of the time and he is quite picky about that. [Name removed] in sales was our introduction to Sunrise initially and her cheerfulness and helpfulness with the move-in period really continued into what we then have found with the whole residential experience.

I felt comfortable at Sunrise of Burlington the first time I visited, as I was trying to find the right place for my dad. I was so happy with my decision as the care he received was wonderful. Dad was busy with activities, even when he did not think he wanted to be! The staff is caring and engaging, with patients and their families.

Our experience at Sunrise of Burlington exceeded all our expectations. The warm and caring staff made our dad's stay at Sunrise a wonderful experience for him, as well as our whole family.

Changed my mom's life. She would just sleep her days away. At 95,she is now more alert than she has been in years. Friendly,attentive ,caring community. Peace of mind for the family

Greeley Place has been a great place for my in-laws. They want our family to feel like "home" when we are visiting. All their residents always seem to be enjoying themselves when we are there. The staff really do care about the residents. My father in-law said I really do have good friends here. I recommend Greeley Place.

Great environment, the staff is very professional and caring.

Dad was only there for a few months, but in that brief time we found the staff there to be top notch and extra caring. We could not have asked for him to spend time in a better place his last days than at Sunrise. Thank you all!!!
